@twitchtvpat I agree the future is still bright, it’s just weird since the past 3 years we’ve seen nonstop releases of PS4 games and 2021 when PS5 comes around, it’s been dry. I guess we can blame it on Covid. It just worries me that since PS4 sales skyrocketed in early 2020 when people were stuck at home that Sony is purposely delaying PS5 only games to cater to all the PS4 users.

@twitchtvpat I replied to myself in my original post saying I still love the PS5 and enjoy the crossover games, I just think it’s ridiculous there are like 4 PS5 only games 8 months after release. Rewind to PS4 release and while there were crossovers, there were a TON of PS4 only titles. (Personally loved Shadowfall despite public opinion)

@twitchtvpat so your saying people should not be unhappy if they buy a PS5 and can’t get any games since Sony hasn’t showcased many PS5 only games? Lmao. The product must have games. Clearly Sony is losing the generational war to Microsoft at the moment. I don’t own an Xbox but you’re blind or a zealot if you’re going to make excuses for Sony. They need to fix things in 2022 fast.

I still need to return to it, maybe I’ll finally finish it now that it seems to be okayed by Sony

I got a PS5 on launch day and still haven’t purchased a PS5-only game because everything is crossover. Total FAIL on Sony part as far as I’m concerned…

First game was terrific, with a bigger budget this could really be a winner!

Loving this game but it needs more content.

I bought a vita last summer while waiting for my PS5 and I’m glad I finally got around to experiencing Gravity Rush and Killzone Mercenary! For the record, there was still a multiplayer player base for killzone and I was able to get all the multiplayer trophies.

This game is a lot of fun, may not having the staying power of Hunt: Showdown but it’s definitely a good time!

Wow alternate time line could be cool. On the flip side of it is traditional, give us early war and perhaps Italians as axis. No more Normandy, PLEASE!

Used it all the time to find groups for Hunt: Showdown and Predator Hunting grounds. Honestly communities have been dead though since the change in messaging and voice chat last year where you can no longer just join a PlayStation party unless you’re specifically invited.

The size of it is massive, especially with black ops installed as well, you’re looking at 300gb. It is fun though, I just recently deleted black ops after getting the plat but I still have modern warfare installed just for warzone!

For MGS, Kojima would be first choice obviously but Konami might not be too warm with Kojima these days. Bluepoint would be my second pick since they have been so respectful of source materials in their past remakes. I would fear any other studio would take too much creative license and bring Metal Gear in a different direction.

@Playstation which begs the question why you seem to have a personal crusade against the devs? Your perfectly welcome to your own opinion and the game definitely has its fair share of problems but as you said, it’s just a game so to say you think those responsible for marketing should lose their jobs seems like making a mountain out of a mole hill. The game also features mass shootings and chaotic violence. Im sure the devs don’t support random murder and destruction either. Your view is rather extremist.

I too was on the fence over the battle pass but I ended up buying my first one with Cold War and I also really enjoy it. On tier 65 so definitely plan to get my money back and earn a free battle pass for next season

@Grayson_ I think if the police AI was improved that would go a long way. I definitely understand the criticism of no car chases and police that spawn next to you. Personally I’m taking a break and hoping the January and February patches bring some improvements. I wouldn’t call the game trash though, the world is still more open than Deus Ex or the Outer Worlds. I think the problem is this game was way more hyped than either of those two were

@jess3a3 @Grayson_ I agree it’s a great game but winning game of the year is all political so I wouldn’t hold my breath on that one...

The only thing I’m considering is taking a break from the game until more patches come. It also has dawned on me that if a PS5 version is coming, my trophy progress will need to be restarted since I’m technically playing PS4 version in backwards compatibility because I still plan on getting the platinum.

I completely agree, I’m 60 hours played on PS5 and I think it’s a great game. The most serious problems I’ve had are random crashes to PS5 Home Screen. At this point I’ve had that happen to me dozens of times but it’s not stopping me from having fun with this title!

Wow I’m surprised, maybe this game is good, I just am not interested in it. First one was fine but zombies in general are just so over done. I have a hard time believing it could be better than Ghost of Tsushima but what do I know!

I’m loving it on PS5, the crashing every couple hours is annoying though. Hoping the city feels more populated once they release a PS5 only update. It’s a shame it sounds like the game is so bad on PS4 though.

@LiamCroft just seems random compared to the heavier weight one might attribute to great campaign, zombies, and use of controller and the detriment of only 8 multiplayer maps. But if others use this as a meaningful metric to convince them to buy the game then more power to them!

I just realized cyberpunk 2077 comes out a week after ps5 does, if I preordered for PS4 but I get a PS5, will I need to get a new version or do I get the updated version for free?
