So pumped for this, first game is top 5 game from last generation for me

I now use portal over ps5 95% of the time

The sucking on the straw scene was really annoying, I hope that isn’t representative of the character’s personality. I do like the blade runner/bounty hunter theme though, could be a promising game

I’m cautiously optimistic for this one, probably going to buy it as soon as major reviews drop

PlayStation store not helpful at all here either. I complained i purchased the DLC assuming I would get the update for free. They told me
Too bad so I ended up purchasing upgrade too. Feels like a raw deal

Just finished it last night, very entertaining. I’m now pumped for the PS5 version of fallout 4!

I platinumed this game during Covid, not sure enough to return to now though

I hope it’s better than the Front Mission spin off Left Alive. I can confidently say that was the worst pre-order game experience I’ve ever had.

@get2sammyb @NEStalgia I’m well aware of the cost and I am indeed that person who buys every console. (I also bought the portal which I actually play more than the PS5 itself lately). The last console that was purchased for me was a PS2, I am well aware of the development costs of these games and the painful effects higher interest rates of late have on financing costs for game developers. None of this should be a justification for me to purchase an upgraded system though when it feels like it’s still early in its lifecycle. Hot take: Deathloop feels like my only essential PS5 game so far! I will still play MGS 3 remake on day one and if there is actually a graphic difference there between PS5 and pro, maybe I can be convinced otherwise but until then, I’m on the sidelines.

Why would anybody buy a PS5 Pro when games like Rise of Rohnin are coming out that look like they belong to last gen?? Sell me some games that knock my socks off like I was promised when I bought a PS5 on day one first

Why would anyone want a PS5 Pro? There are barely any PS5 games released and we’re 4 years in…

They have barely had any PS5 exclusives and many games are still releasing dual PS5/PS4. There is zero incentive to buy a pro unless game development significantly ramps up…

Played it on PS5 at launch so only experienced a handful of random crashes. Played it all the way through and then played it again when PS5 version came out to get the platinum. The PS5 version is a great game but the original launch made a permanent stain. Whenever I talk to someone who hasn’t played it, they have. Such negative bias toward it from what they heard about from launch.

@Mikey856 pretty easy, mostly campaign related. There is a win 25 multiplayer games or skirmishes against AI.

@Fyz306903 there are no “resource gathering” units though like age of empires. It’s passive based on map control. Capturing an Oil depot for instance supplies you with fuel and denies it to your enemy. Depending on your faction, there are reinforcements that can be called in from off map instantly. Units that come from base buildings have a build time.

@Fyz306903 there are base buildings you build to generate units, the units are very sophisticated though with multiple abilities each and you cannot create unit blobs like StarCraft. Having 3 tanks at once for instance is basically a gg steamroll. I am already playing this on pc and pre ordered for PS5. Very pumped for release!

Picked up Redfall on steam deck and not impressed. Looking for something classic Arkane led me here though and I think I’ll give Weird West a try!

I want a new Killzone game…PLEASE! Take a break from Aloy and switch gears. Absence makes the heart grow fonder! It would make a return to Horizon that much better!

@OrtadragoonX ancestors legacy was a RTS copy of COH that came out on PS4 a few years ago and has a medieval setting. It surprisingly plays quite well on console

Mega fan of this series and been playing coh3 on pc since release, probably will be first game I buy a second time on a different console!

@OrtadragoonX the last tiger was a great campaign, definitely the best axis fps I’ve ever played. Would have been interesting to see a campaign from Japanese point of view as well, perhaps Iwo Jima or okinowa in one of those suicidal last stand battles.

@tameshiyaku I got the reference. Jacob’s ladder is great/creepy movie, definitely see the similarities. Would make for a great plot if it does indeed follow a similar theme…

Red dead 2 was such a better game/story than last of us!

About 10 hours in so far and I really like it. I actually like the writing, harkens back to early 2000s. Duke Nukem meets Fallout. Lots of different combos to mess around with, can’t decide if I like melee or ranged better.

I picked it up on PS5 today, actually loving it so far. The lustful femme upgrade station bot is hysterical. I also like the Fallout vibe cartoons for the abilities. Finding myself playing this over Hogwarts

It’s so refreshing for a tripe A game to launch in a fully playable state! (I get PTSD just thinking about Cyberpunk). Per the previous post regarding DLC, I much prefer a well delivered primary product than DLC. What is wrong with us as consumers that we obsess about spending more money on an unfinished product than being happy with what we have??! DLC is always a negative as far as I’m concerned. If this game comes with all bells and whistles attached, that’s a plus. So far, Im enjoying the title.

Literally only bought this game only because of some people trying to get it banned. Glad it’s actually good, looking forward to playing!

I played the demo that was released last month and I was horrified. I had planned on buying it before trying the demo! Definitely waiting until this is ps plus or on sale

Cautiously optimistic here, going to wait and see what others say before buying but definitely interested!

I played the demo and it was pretty bad. Felt very unpolished, I think this will tank.

Command and conquer, it’s real time strategy where you have to build a base, conquer and hold territory, and manage and gather resources. There is a game available on PS store now called Ancestors legacy about Vikings that is a medieval replica of COH

This show was so awesome I restarted playing cyberpunk as a Corpo net runner as a nod to Lucy!
