Re: Ubisoft Says Roller Champions Will Keep Rollin', Rollin', Rollin' on PS4

OrangeBagels

Yeah, just like how Babylon’s Fall super duper promises that it won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

It will be. Obviously.

And this game will also get the axe sooner rather than later.

My guess is that this game is indeed scheduled to be getting shut down. So the team comes out and says this to try and ease concerns.

It’s not like they can come out and truthfully say, “Yeah we’ll be canned soon. But pretty please come spend money until then.”

Re: The Division 2: Warlords of New York - Glitchy Expansion Is More of the Same

OrangeBagels

Oh my god. This review is the only place I’ve seen talk about how ungodly buggy the expansion is.

Even on reddit no one seems to be discussing it?

I think the expansion is actually pretty fun. When it comes to the gameplay and setting.

But holy heck, the video(and especially audio)bugs completely ruin the experience for me. So I’m not finishing it until.....well....until they finish it.

Re: Nioh 2 Gameplay Footage Is Bloody and Impressive

OrangeBagels

Real talk?

Nioh is stupidly fun. I was invited to play the Alpha Demo. And I honestly forgot how absurdly amazing the combat is. And generally just how great it is. And how good it feels to play.

Nioh 2 is more or less what I wish Sekiro would have been.

Re: Talking Point: Was Bethesda's Press Conference Brilliant or a Bust?

OrangeBagels

I thought it was pretty medicore.

A lot of akwardness/cringe, a lot of filler, and a whole lot of not showing gameplay, or just taking too long to get into gameplay.

Took 12 years to get into Rage 2 gameplay.

New Doom and Wolfenstein DLC?

Neat, but no gameplay.

Fallout 76 looks......weird. Might be cool, but I have to see more.

But am I the only who thought the new Fallout mosters/enemies looked stupidly goofy and over the top?

And duh Bethesda is working on Starfield and the new Elder Scrolls game.

So two like 7 second CGI trailers for each game does absolutely nothing for me.

I was just not a fan of the press conference.

Re: Guide: Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age Jobs - The Job System and Choosing Jobs

OrangeBagels

@ShogunRok Hey Mr. Rok. I was wanting some advice. So I'm enjoying the game a lot. But the whole job picking thing really stresses me out. So I was wanting to kinda give you my mental roadmap for my party. Oh and I'm not too far in the game. Haven't even got Ashe in my party yet.

So Vaan is my knight. But I'm kinda ignoring him for now. Not too worried.

I'm using Basche as a Foebreaker. Which I kinda regret cause your guide, and the game, don't seem to mention that hammers and axes have a chance to do little to no damage per swing. But when it does hit, it hits hard. So I guess it's kinda okay for now? But I'm thinking on making him a green mage later on as his second job. Any advice/opinion?

I have Fran as an Archer. And kinda thinking about making her a red mage later. Advice/opinion?

And Balthier as a Machinist, thinking about making a time mage later. Advice/Opnion?

And Penelo is a white mage, probably gonna make her a monk later? Maybe a ninja? Advice/opinion?

And I definately want Ashe to be a Samurai first. Then a Black mage later. Or should she be a BM first?

Advice/Opinion?

Sorry if this was long winded. I just don't wanna screw myself early on.

Cause I wanna be able to take on end game optional bosses and stuff.

So thanks!

Re: Talking Point: Was Mass Effect: Andromeda Unfairly Torn Apart by the Internet?

OrangeBagels

To keep this short, I do think it's a bad game.

And it baffles me that people say stuff like, "Well it has a lot of problems, but you can't say it's a bad game per say."

Why?
Cause it's a AAA game?
Because it's Mass Effect?

It's unpolished, unfinished, and is honestly a joke.

Plus with all the amazing games that are out, and that are still coming out, your time is better spent playing better games.

Which there are plenty of.

Re: Poll: Should Resident Evil Remain First-Person for Now?

OrangeBagels

People on here keep saying 'no' to RE staying in first person solely on just playing the demo.

Let me tell you, the full game is quite different from the demo.

The full game has all the classic RE tropes. Like stupidly out of place RE doors and keys(and I mean that in the best way possible) and maps, puzzles, item boxes and item management, and secrets and shortcuts.

It really did feel like RE.
But just in first person.

So I think they should continue in first person for now. See if they can build upon it.

Re: Push Rewind: Your Ultimate PlayStation Experience 2015 Recap

OrangeBagels

@adf86 How is this a bad thing? The original game was on 3 discs. Isn't that pretty similar to being episodic? Like, if they truly remake the entirety of FFVII then this game is going to be friggin' massive. But all arguments on this revelation are kinda valid. We just don't know pretty much anything about this remake. It's way too early, we all just need to wait and see how the game ends up turning out.
