Immortals Fenyx Rising fans can start extending their playtime even further today as the first major bit of DLC arrives for the greek-themed Ubisoft open-world title on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. Titled A New God, it can be purchased standalone off the PlayStation Store for £11.99/$14.99 or as part of the season pass, which comes in at £32.99/$39.99. This first expansion is said to take place after the events of the base game, so you may have to get those main objectives wrapped up before gaining access.
The PS Store listing reads: "In A New God, play as Fenyx to overcome the trials of the gods of Olympos. In these trials, Fenyx hones her godly powers and finds ways to become even stronger as they attempt to earn a place among the inner circle of the Pantheon." If you are interested in Immortals Fenyx Rising but haven't bought it just yet, a demo is now available on both PS5 and PS4. You can start downloading it through here.
Two more pieces of DLC are slated to expand the game even further in the coming months, with the second introducing a new character to play as and the third switching camera angles entirely. Will you be heading back to Immortals Fenyx Rising with the A New God expansion? Fly into the comments below.

I really liked Immortals, but I'm going to hold off on these DLC's until they're on sale. It's Ubisoft, so that won't take very long.
@RBMango Same here, really enjoyed the game got it for 1/3 off a few weeks after launch. Season pass should be similarly discounted soon enough!
For anyone in the US who wants physical its on sale for $30 at Gamestop until the end of the week!
Seeing as I paid for the game less than they're asking for the Season Pass - same as the commenters above
The game's really good though and the trailer for the DLC looks good too
I normally love collectathons and also Ubisoft games but this one burned me out. IFR was just too boring and repetitive.
I wasn't going to buy the game for a while, but jumped on it when it was $30 because I have nothing else I'm playing right now. But the reviews didn't really do it justice at all. I expected a AA, fairly short experience on par with Greedfall or The Outer Worlds, but I'm already 50 hours in, and I'm about halfway through the story. Its a very solid game with a lot to do. In fact, the dungeons are extremely challenging, to the point that I might never be able to complete a few. I highly recommend it.
Gonna try the demo. Thanks.
Gonna give the demo a go because I have been curious about this one. Kust not sure if I can do another massive unisoft open worlder.
I still haven't gotten over how awful the name of this game is.
Thanks for the link to the demo page. Not working for me right now but maybe it just isn't operational in the US yet.
Edit: Updated the webpage in the link after 10AM ET and the "Add to library" button appeared. 😁
Was going to buy this when it went on sale for $30 but the $40 DLC price made me decide to wait. Will play the demo though.
@Bigtuna515 It's definitely not as massive as the last few AC games. There's still a lot to do but it's all packed closer together (and most of it involves puzzles).
Is the netflix show I don't remember the name dlc mission still up?
@AFCC no, but I think they said it would be back at some point
@Voltan aww
In Portugal it seems the demo is only available for PS5, which kinda blows chunks... I wanted to try the game.
Just bought the game today on Amazon for 50€ Gold Edition. A steal, considering it is a base game + season pass.
I tried the demo, and just did not like how she felt to control. I dunno, something just felt off to me personally.
And the ‘humor’ did absolutely nothing for me.
According to the webstore, it's a PS5 exclusive. Just how broken is that bag of......
I quite liked the demo and reckon I'd enjoy the game if I picked it up in a sale. The music was lovely.
