@AyanamiReign The independence part was weird..so basically Microsoft can actually purchase Bungie while under Sony Interactive Entertainment because technically Bungie is not part of Playstation Studios. I heard rumors Bungie maybe thinking of buying themselves out to remain control and I have a feeling this will happen in a few months time.

@OldGamer999 Let's be fair here..Bungie is a subsidiary independent studio. Bungie had the say so over Sony since it was considered in their contract. However the deal also favor Sony more since now Bungie missed their goals Sony can fully step in and claim Bungie as a Playstation Studio. Heard rumors from other ppl that Bungie may buy themselves out to never be controlled by Sony.

If you go to xbox game store FF14 isn't among the top games played right now it's not even in the top free games either. So Steam and PS are the most current players with the combination with xbox.

Hold up lol okay so Microsoft buys up two massive publishers less than 5 years apart and studios for almost 100 billion and Phil Spencer is whining over Helldivers 2 skipping Xbox? Yet took games away from other platforms so xbox ecosystem can have exclusives for the xbox players and now Phil Spencer wants more that includes Sony's owned ips as well dude..come on lol also didn't Phillip Spencer said Sony can make their own offerings to compete with COD? Phil Spencer probably saw the record breaking that broke COD records and was pretty petty..You bet ur behind Microsoft is gonna go after Arrowhead Studios next just because of Helldivers success. However Helldivers is a Sony ip not Arrowhead Studios.

I keep saying this 3rd party exclusively or timed does help the 1st party studios abit in terms of time to release a finished product also it's a way to buy them in later in years as the partnership grows.

@Stragen8 Well Bungie is not technically a PS studio that could be it but in all I feel Bungie is more pro xbox than Sony even though Sony owns them.

What a load of BS! They took games away that have been on ps for decades I really don't want to hear it anymore when they said this many times and I'm tired of Sony making pc ports when we console players have to pay 70 bucks for inferior verison.

I miss this guy. He knew the fanbase wanted and he was pro ps. Jim Ryan has no clue nor he cares what the fanbase wanted. Closing a longtime studio was a shame to the brand. Jim Ryan isn't fit for ps brand at all. I can't stand this pro pc ports and multiplatform ports and he let a first party studio developed an ip then it goes to gamepass for free while we the ps owners have to pay 70 bucks standard edition that's not cool.

This is not going to get better if Jim Ryan continues to dis the fanbase cause to me Sony Ps is slowly dying cause of the bad business decisions. Sony needs a big buy more studios not buying these odd streaming services.

@OmegaStriver Yeah I agree and there hasn't been a upgrade on HZD for ps5 yet so idk why they rather fix the pc port then the ps4 version to upgrade it on ps5 right there it's taking out the time and resources from the console port and who knows if Sony will ever upgrade it at least Days Gone was upgrade before the ps5 was released.

If this comes a thing I will jump ship myself and just upgrade my pc cause exclusives should remain as exclusive as it was advertised. With Death Stranding the game was supposed to be a ps4 exclusive but rumored to a pc version but not confirmed but what's shady is that Sony announced the pc version just 2 weeks before the ps4 release like ouch that sucks who has both pc and ps4 and bought it for ps4 that right there is bad business practices.

Jim 'Lying' Ryan needs to be honest to the community and have a plan to what's going on. He's more pro PC than the actual console.

@OmegaStriver What gets me is that Sony actually lied about not all exclusives are heading to pc or any platform. It's like they are killing the brand slowly cause not everyone will get a ps5 this year or maybe next year which my opinion is that Sony is limiting ps5 hardware this generation and slowly killing the console.

Honestly I'm neutral about it. However Sony needs to be more honest to their customers instead of lying to their base about ONLY ON PS sticker then year or two they release it for another platform. That is false advertising regardless how old the game is and why should console players pay full retail price from the actual brand but pc gets the entire game with dlcs and expansions 20 bucks cheaper? Just an example.

Sony needs get rid of the ONLY ON PLAYSTATION sticker and actually be honest with the base but of course they will never do that cause the hardware sales. And I'm pretty sure Sony will release newer games same day on release day on pc. And this generation the ps5 will be limited in hardware which means Sony is killing the console slowly and moving towards pc and have their own store onto a better platform.

@WilliamFrost12 Fallout 76 was much worse than No Man Sky and Anthem but look at it now 2 expansions free mind you and the road map looks promising but wish the game stop crashing and wish there were more hair styles for our characters. Events are dropping high end loot and the latest limited event gave me 3 level 3 stars in one run of the event.

Dang that's terrible for those who liked the game. Sony, Microsoft should stop selling the game on their platform then. Luckily for me I only played it for 1 hour the ps4 version is terrible anyway. Crashes, bugs, frame problems etc.

@clvr Sony doesn't own the franchises they just stream them, SAO is on Netflix, Fairy Tail on Netflix but also on Funimation. How is that a monopoly? Yeah the lists is not as big but still there are other streaming apps to watch anime not just these two.

Buying amounts of studios less than a year is a monopoly.

@nessisonett Again read, I never said they own every gaming company but buying up studios is being a monopoly. Like I said if they are buying more studios and one could be bigger than Zenimax. Netflix has quite alot of Anime not as big but still big enough.

@nessisonett I think you missed the point. Microsoft is being a monopoly, doesn't matter if these studios are not E.A or Ubisoft but Zenimax is quite large and the ips are highly known. And how can Sony being a monopoly when Netflix, Kissanmie are options and a few are streaming apps are available? You literally have no idea what are saying.. I don't see Sony taking Funimation off of other platforms so idk how that is being a monopoly? You have other options to watch anime Crunchyroll and Funimation are more well known owning two streaming services for anime isn't being a monopoly when there are so many to stream off of. Microsoft has been buying studios up to which they said they are after another big studio which rumors are saying it could be bigger than Zenimax to which studio I don't know to which it's only a rumor but my bet it's Ubisoft and Sega.

@nessisonett Microsoft has 23 studios and the the ip rights to the biggest games franchise in gaming that restricts other platforms rumors are saying they are after more big studios. Microsoft has spent well over 7.5 billion on gaming studios this past year that's being a monopoly to which studio they are after to buy is multiple to boost their exclusive lineup. I don't see Sony buying boats loads of studios, I don't get it, if Sony does something like buying a studio it's a monopoly heck when they bought Insomniac ppl are saying they are being a monopoly cause of Spiderman but when Microsoft buys Zenimax that two biggest franchises are exclusive to Microsoft only is totally fine. Microsoft is the one who is being a monopoly in the gaming industry. Not to mention that Bethesda and a few other Zenimax subsidiaries aren't small and they do have well known ip like Doom, Evil Within, and Dishonored to which those games will never be on Sony Ps.

I beat the game just now. Here's my review of the game.
The game was hyped and controversial of 2020. 7 years in the making and the wait wasn't worth it to say at least for most of the fans of this franchise. Last of Us 2 has somewhat terrible writing that makes no sense to the plot from the first game like at all. Playing this game makes you wonder if you're playing in a different world of the last of us. I don't understand why have real world political correctness into a video game that makes no sense when the human race is on verge of being gone from the world but yet the game suffers human sexuality like every 5 mins like okay yes, you are gay now can we move on?

The game literally had flags of pride into the game which was out of place in this game. The game suffers alot of dialogue that were extremely cringe worthy that makes Ride To Hell dialogue look better.

Playing a brand new character made me mad and I really didn't want to play anymore. I want to play the main characters of the first game not a new hulk thing that made the game hard to play cause I can't bound with this character not like Ellie. Sony falsely advertised this game..(chuckle) not surprised by Sony business practices they have false advertised and will continue to.

Last Of Us 2 has some technical issues that I will point out that these reviews by media journalists. The game makes the ps4 fan to go into hyper drive. Like not kidding my system was extremely hot. Bugs are extremely noticeable in act 2. Fps can drop to low 25 estimate guess in some areas. Some of lip syncing is a tad off, still noticeable. Crashes after crash frustrated me the most.

The writing of this game holds the game back and it's a shame that it could've be Sony's biggest and most highest ip they owned I give this game a 4 out 10!

But in all, I'm not getting this game due to its political agenda and how they butchered the story like the first game didn't really matter. I have no respect for a company that has to be so salty about opinions and Soy Sony has to block and flag YouTube channels for discussing the leaks with no footage showing so Soy Sony and Soy Naughty Girl flagged youtubers channel for nothing is illegal and this is why I'm not supporting Sony's business they can keep Sjws money I'm not supporting them or the agenda.

@TheBuzz My ps + is almost up and I'm not renewing it either. Sony doesn't deserve my money due to the fact they never release big AAA game for free that have been out maybe like a year or two. The only games that I've downloaded for free was Bloodborne and Ratchet and Clank and after that I never download anymore free games cause it's either I have them or the lineup has been extremely embarrassing. Idk Sony's bosses are like don't care anymore. Well if don't care why should I support your business?

@Dodoo Actually no I was very excited when the ps4 was released been with ps since ps1. But the new way of releasing exclusives to other platforms makes not want to buy a ps5. Already the ps5 has no exclusives. You think GOW or Horizon Zero Dawn 2 will be just a ps5 exclusive? Don't count on it..already Last Of Us 2 maybe heading to pc as well. Rumors are going around that GOW 2018 is heading to pc in the future. What I don't get about Sony's business decisions is the censorship policy its ridiculous so that's strike one, strike two is that timed exclusives from their own studios why even buy Insomniac then makes little sense if they were going 3rd party now. And strike three is Sony is fine with mod support for their exclusives on pc but on a Sony console is a big fat no? Already Ps5 is not very hyped at the moment for me at least.

@Ken_Kaniff Yep I agree. Sony isn't the same and I knew from the start when Kojima took HDZ engine and he wanted a pc port that's when I knew that HDZ would be ported to PC. Sony has lied and false advertised HDZ as an exclusive and not to mention they shady announced a DS pc release 2 weeks before the ps4 release. Sony is going to fail and I'm not buying a ps5.

Umm..I really don't trust Sony much anymore. Letting exclusives go for other platforms. A weaker next generation console, BC is limited to a few ps4 games only. Idk Sony made me not want to buy a ps5 cause to me Sony is in for pc gaming and appeasing other platforms rather than their own customers, the brand of ps is dying and who wants to buy a ps5 now since rumors are going around that ps exclusives will be also day 1 to pc? Sorry but the ps5 is a pass for me.

I really don't care about ps5 at this point anyway. Sony's treatment to the loyal fans just made me switch to Nintendo. Exclusives heading to pc and other platforms there is no need to even purchase a ps5. Sony will fail next generation..

@NathanUC I think you are missing the point what I said..If Ps releases their exclusives on pc on the same day as ps5 release why should ps gamers pay more money for the crappy version while pc gamers get the top notch experience for the same price. If Sony does that which I'm very certain they will, Sony just literally crapped on their ps customers for PC.

@KAPADO Same here. It's like why even buy inferior system to play games? Sony has become terrible making decisions for the upcoming system and the exclusives. The reason why I stayed with Sony since ps1 era it's because the exclusives. I stood by them ever since they were about to call it quits when Sony was literally in a financial situation that was turning the company into bankruptcy. I bought ever generation console of Sony's for exclusives but now they are destroyed their brand and Sony has become more of a p.c platform taking care of the players over there rather then the ps players. Sony is not getting my money after this generation is over I'm done with Sony..just waiting for TLOU and that's it I'm not gonna support Sony's multiplatform business.

He basically just doesn't care about exclusives nor what they stand for so why even buy a ps5 when exclusives give the brand identity. Sony will lose next generation and that's on them cause exclusives made Sony won this generation if you let exclusives go then what's the point to even own a console when games look 10x better
on pc than consoles? That's a slap in the face to the console only players while pc players get the better version of it.

@leucocyte Technically, DS was actually a ps exclusive when the game was being developed and they even advertised it as a ps4 exclusive but in truth, the game was never a exclusive from the start, Sony lied about for about 4 years so they can sell copies on ps4 and the collection editions but shady they are, 2 weeks before the games actual ps4 release they announced the game for pc which is pretty messed up to the ps consoles owners.

DS was advertised as a ps console exclusive, DS is heading to pc and not gonna be surprised if DS heads for Xbox next.

@Flaming_Kaiser Sony won't not get half of the profit, plus Sony won't be the publisher for the pc port anyway. Sony 1st party studio might get some of it but half goes to the publisher which will be 505 Games like they did with DS for pc.

@SaikoWaifu2003 Exclusives should remain exclusives and how funny is that 3rd and 1st party games gave p.c owners games cause their own devoplovers cant make a decent game so p.c fanboys are yelling at console developers to release games on their pc. So be thankful to exclusives and 3rd party games that pc has games without them a pc will be just brick with p.c indie games.
