is it weird that Wreckreation hasn't been out all that long? I thought that game was going to be supported for some time with its customisations and track builders. I thought they'd be adding to if for some time?
I would of expected this announcement if the first one had done amazingly well and this was like 2 years down the line?

This looks right up my street again too! Hopefully this is a refreshing blast again too. Loved the track editor too so hope that makes a return. I made over 100+ tracks on Unleashed 2.
Glad its coming early and theres a discount for the ultimate version on the store. might be tempted to bite the bullet on that!

They need to address peoples previous catalogue of games really. Disc drive or no disc drive.
Granted, when they announce the PS6 if they choose not to address this issue will only further upset people.
However, i dont agree with gaming being for the elite at an expense only affordable by the few. This is just ridiculous and asking for a collapse in the industry. Who's to say or define the "Hardcore gamer" seriously. This is an ambiguous term to say the least

I was kind of diggin' it until i saw the character models. They dont look completely in tone with the game.
The monsters look fantastic but them characters look like they belong in something else. Also, was wondering what the sword play would be like but this does look a bit jank. Not sure if i like the Pokemon capture idea either too!
Will wait and see how this plays out. I'm always up for more monster hunter-esque stuff but I cant be sure on this one

I'd prefer it to be 50% off a game rather than a subscription.

It really could be the difference at Xmas or Birthday where people turn around and say I want a Switch 2 instead of a PS6.
That price point is such a sore subject and the same with Digital only stance on things.
At this stage, Sony's silence is only hurting them more too

I love the passion of fans but ultimately its up to Sony whatever they want to do surely?
I do feel they need to adjust the terms of this "Digital only thing" though if they want to keep good faith of the consumers and rewrite some rules in favour of the consumer.
However, thats also up to them and right now customer relations are in the pan.

Apart from some of the connection issues, when playlink worked it was great. The amount of times myself, friends and family had a laugh playing thats you or knowledge is power. Frantics was another good one. I was gutted when they dropped support for this.

The amount of lengthy loading screens and issues really sucks the fun out of this game

Then thats your copy to prove youve purchased it.
Maybe serial code and a few other details?
I'm not sure the way around this otherwise and to lose some parts of your back catalogue would be massively disappointing

While it sucks in one regard i think we all saw this coming one day eventually.
I do like the convenience of digital but we should still have options too. Maybe something like CDkeys or online retailers can still offer their discounts on games.
I best not have to repurchase PS4 and PS5 games though. That would be an epic fail if Sony dont sort that out!

I had a feeling people would dig their heels in. Makes perfect sense. Unfortunately billion dollar companies sometimes need to take the hit on things for the sake of saving face.
They can pass on as much costs as they want but eventually you'll price us all out.
While I do love my PS5 and gaming, this generation sucks. I've never felt so disillusioned and demoralised by gaming.
Maybe take a few on the chin Sony. Show us some good will again like the eventual PS3 and PS4 days

This probably comes from Xbox recently giving away all their new limited edition Xboxes away hahaha!

Sorry to hear about anyone losing their jobs regardless of successful games or not. Bungie haven't really appealed to me since Halo but I wouldn't see anyone lose their job.
fingers crossed these people find new work ASAP and other studios snap them up quickly. Its always a shame they cut the people at the bottom rather than a CEO taking a small pay cut

Disappointed. This was their opportunity to inject some life back into DOA and they seem to of missed the ball completely.
By the sounds of it, the combat is decent enough but the fact theyve got you re-purchasing DLC and dropping loads of money again. Just seems like a cash grab. Gutted. I hoped Koei/Tecmo would do better by now.

I do like Sonic Crossworlds. It was a lot of fun at the beginning but there just isnt enough single player content to keep me coming back. I'm glad it got another DLC pack coming.
To me, theres just something off. It hasnt quite captured the magic of the all star racing series or transformed.
I'd definitely give shinobi a go but the backlog is still pretty large at the moment

@Slayer25c @twitchtvpat Because we are on a playstation website which is a Sony property? I'm not naïve enough to just think it was Sony. This is the topic of the article and where my interests lie. I know Microsoft are doing the dirty too but I don't own nor care.
I know the whole industry is in tatters and we all are in the middle of cost of living crisis. I'm not trying to throw shade. I'm just voicing my opinion and as a long time gamer and fan I want to see us all be able to play these games and discuss. Not be priced out of hobby that we all enjoy

@get2sammyb While I usually would agree, I do think Sony has shown PS3 levels of thinking recently. Price increases, consoles being more expensive than what they were when they were first released. Game prices going up. PSplus going up. Sony being sued for not giving its fair prices on the store they are definitely showing some bad hands.
Of course, this is all in a turbulent economy where resources are going up and down. The problem is, they'll never come back down. They may do special offers or discounts but lets not pretend that it'll be just the original price or a small fraction off the already increase. There's levels of greed

Times are so hard. I couldn't justify £1000+ on a gaming console. Hell, I couldn't justify £700 or £800. It's just too much. Times are so harsh at the moment and everything is so damn expensive it would be silly to buy something (even if I'll get my monies worth) that's so expensive right now. Sony, if you're reading this be smart. Not greedy. I won't hold my breathe though

To do that again would mean they learnt nothing!
Obviously polish happens during the games release and whatnot but if they dont wanna aggravate day one buyers and fans of the game they'll definitely not do a Cyberpunk again!

I'm doing my replays of GOW 2018 and Ragnarök. Just started Ragnarök again. I think I rushed through it so much at the time i havent given it a second play. Really enjoying it this time round

While i'm not exactly on the GTA hype train and havent played one since GTA4 i think it was? Vice City has always held a dear spot in my heart like many others. I will however await reviews that will more than likely be positive and see what those prices are in the end!

I'd love this to come to PSplus at somepoint to give it a try.
While i'm not the biggest football fan, i do like the odd game and this seems to be a pretty fun variation of that

Luckily I've got 1gb broadband and no limits.
