@Neuromancer it runs fine when your in game.
I feel its 30fps which dips but the optimisation of the loading screens is diabolical. Join a team, loading screen, pick a match, another loading screen, loads map up, another loading screen.
about 5 minutes of loading screens before you even play online with randoms. If the host drops out or cancels in the meantime, you guessed it, another loading screen back to the menu.
It just needs to be a bit more seamless in the experience. Helldivers does it well, I'm sure space marine can

Also, Chaos Legion would be a nice touch for me

Space Marine 2 was great. But it needs optimising so badly.
The loading screens between online matches are painful to say the least.
Also, it turned my PS5 into an airplane taking off. I feel it needed more time in the oven in some regards but I did enjoy for the most part

For a stream about video games they opened with a Capcom movie. Very odd choice.
While i am looking forward to MHW ascendance and FF7, the rest of it was completely underwhelming to say the least.
I usually make time to watch these but i'm glad I skipped the majority for PushSquare to do a nice round-up for me

I had a terrible feeling the open world format would be divisive.
I loved Unleased 1 & 2 and I'll probably love this one too.
I think the beauty in these games is designing your own wacky course. i did over 100 x tracks in Unleashed 2. I was hooked!
I do wish they would of built, improved and expanded on the Unleashed formula for Unleashed 3 rather than this open world design but that's just the way it is heyhoo. Still tempted to buy

Put Epyon or Wing Gundam 0 and it would become a day 1 for me.

I played it last when they release that 60fps boost for it on PS5.
Now with a free upgrade i've got another reason to play it again! such a good game

@Chrisathickson Oh I have no doubt about that. I just hate their PR teams that generally stay quiet on most things.
Even if they just came out and said something like "we have an idea or a solution, please bear with us" that would be more than enough. But they don't. Instead they double down on silence and remind people their terms and conditions. Just seems baaaaad...

I have Netflix and I doubt I'll watch this.
All my enthusiasm for GTA has been killed by disc rants, leaks and paywalls. Think I'll be sitting this one out now though I'm sure it'll be forced upon me sometime in the future via advertisements

Thinking back to when EA had the most down voted comment ever on reddit and their whole scummy practices of microtransactions, I really didnt think they could get any worse.
I dont think they've ever really recovered from this!
And now the big Saudi buyout is going to more than likely cement the idea that i'll never buy a EA game again now.

I think whatever it is they are doing isn't working. Its time to switch things up again and whoever is leading this sinking ship get off now.
Maybe a new direction and not chasing GaaS as a major directive. Its still ok to chase GaaS but rearrange the priorities and work on what made PS4 so good again.
Original ideas, fresh eyes and vision can only take playstation brand back up. Not this old tired "investors first" attitude

Is it going to play different to something similar or before it? Of course it is! Is it comparable to others? Yeah if you compare apples and oranges.
This game isn't even out yet and to be this negative is just plain old odd in my opinion. This doesn't have something to do with say.... the discless future right?
The internet is very negative at the moment in general. This goes for everything too but I digress.
I'll give this a chance like I would any game that peaks my attention.
If they throw in some battle arenas and other things to keep the gameplay fresh and continuous I don't see how this could be anything bad tbh.

Im tempted to play through marvel ultimate alliance again too. craving some marvel story orientated RPG goodness at the moment.
Wish they would make another after the averaged 3rd one too!

Suppose it could be good news if they come out with something new or original. I wouldn't mind if it borrowed a tekken-like fighting mechanic by all means. Be interesting to see where they go from here now

Brilliant game. I did enjoy it despite some of its performance issues and glitchy-ness
the DLC final chapter when you have to climb to the top of those really tall pillars was a nightmare too. I think i gave up after frustratingly trying and falling to the bottom many times!

Is this a remake of COD4MW?
I think i'm so old and out of the loop i dont know CODs anymore!

@Vertere Yeah Street Fighter should be fun too!
I follow WWE so its fun to see Cody and Roman in there too.
Hopefully it'll just be silly with some nice choreographed fight scenes and some light story telling thrown in there.

@ElPenitente Agreed. I didn't hate it. It wasn't anything special but I can take it at face value.
Still need to see the 2nd film too! They are a laugh and nothing too deep which is ok. Not everything has to be an epic

@ElPenitente Yes Flashpoint was a great film. It has a bit of Donnie Yen doing some parkour and stuff. That final fight is incredible though. Suplexing through bricks and stuff. It felt so down to earth. No silly strings making them float.

Ive not seen alot of Joe Taslims work. Only seen the first "The Raid" film which I thought was excellent too. I'll be sure to check that one out too! Thanks for the recommendation.

Tony Jaa used to be a good shout too! Ong-Bak and Warrior King were excellent displays of martial arts and stunts. Just a bit weak on the story side of things

@ElPenitente literally love all the Ipman films and anything else Donnie Yen is in.
His kung fu and action films are probably the best in cinema. I think he's highly underrated in comparison to the Jet Li's, Chans, an Lee

I think deeper and more consistent discounts are imperative for PS5 and PS6 to be honest. If you want people to pony up the cash and keep on supporting then this is a bare minimum.
I do understand they don't have to discount anything however but if they are wanting to win back consumers, its time to get back into the customer headspace and not the corporate one.
A returns policy should be fundamental and foundational too. PS5's refund policies are joke. Get with the times.
Loyalty would be nice but I wouldnt expect anything at this stage

like many others, i'll probably pick it up on a decent enough sale.
Till then, i could just play the original. No rush on this
