You may recall that the Tekken 8 development team has lost a couple of heavyweights in recent times, following on from ongoing struggles to manage the fighting game in the months after its launch.
The most notable departure was that of Katsuhiro Harada, a producer and director that's been involved with the legendary series since its inception.
Not long after he left Bandai Namco, it was announced he had established a new fighting game studio, named VS Studio, under publisher SNK.
Harada wasn't the only senior staffer to resign from his post; Kohei Ikeda, game director on Tekken 8, followed shortly afterward.

Now, he has just announced he has reunited with Harada at VS Studio:
So, VS Studio has two Tekken veterans among its ranks. It'll be really interesting to see the team's debut game whenever it appears.
It's gonna be a while before that happens, but there's some real pedigree at the top, so it's definitely a studio to watch for fighting game fans.
