Re: Tokyo Xtreme Racer Makes Its Long-Awaited Return to PlayStation

@brakeman90 Just depends on the settings. In handheld mode at 720p, it's okay, but it does drop some frames (targeting 60fps). I've tried it in docked mode as well at higher resolutions to test it, and it definitely gets hit pretty hard even at resolutions like 900p. That's with visuals settings at their lowest.

Though I have missed a few updates, and it's possible that it has improved since I last played it.

Re: Is This the First Tease of Next-Gen PS6 Graphics?

I have long since stopped caring about how realistic games can look. Just give me better frame rates. Like Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter looks amazing while also running at 120fps. Give me great art direction with great performance.

Re: 'Quit Game and Restart': PS5 Pro Has the Worst Version of Borderlands 4

Sony's PS5 Pro problems are just not going away any time soon it seems. They really need to crack down on developers who are releasing broken "Pro" versions of games. When base PS5 players are having better experiences than PS5 Pro users, it is a problem. And yes, I get it, most games don't have that issue. But the point is that it's happening often enough, and on high profile enough games, that it is a marketing disaster.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy a PS1 at Launch?

Not at launch. I waited until Castlevania Symphony of the Night released to finally buy one. That said, my friend who lived across the street got one on launch day, so I was playing it day one regardless.

Re: Shinobi: Art of Vengeance (PS5) - A Gorgeous, Triumphant Return for SEGA's Ninja Series

Was a little disappointed that the game doesn't support 120fps on PS5. It supports it on PC, and I can even get the game running at 120fps on my Steam Deck in docked mode without issues, so the game certainly is designed to support it. It helps so much to reduce sample-and-hold motion blur on modern displays, and this game has a lot of fast lateral scrolling. It's just really disappointing to see developers still refuse to embrace modern features on the current gen consoles for no reason.

Re: Stellar Blade Has Free Gifts for PS5, PC Players in New Update

Did they ever patch in a way to leave the "point of no return" area near the end of the game? I've been stuck there ever since they started giving free updates, and have never been able to try them out as a result. I just don't have the time to start a brand new play through just to get the free updates.
