Stellar Blade PS5, PC Will Add a Boss Battle with One of NIKKE's Most Popular Characters 1

When the Stellar Blade Complete Edition was officially announced, developer Shift Up mentioned there’d be a new boss battle against Mann, the beefy personal bodyguard of Orcal from the main campaign.

But now new language on PlayStation.com confirms we’ll also be facing off against one of NIKKE: Goddess of Victory’s most popular characters: Scarlet.

Here’s what the website reveals: “The warrior Scarlet has arrived from Shift Up’s hit third-person shooter mobile app to challenge you in a one-on-one showdown for the ages – only by defeating this new Boss, can you claim a new costume, hairstyle, and song for EVE as a reward.”

The blurb also confirms that a new in-game shop managed by Liter’s dog Volt will also be added to the game, and this is where you’ll be able to purchase DLC outfits.

“Put your trigger finger to the test in sci-fi shooting range mini games, and visit a new shop owned by the Goddess of Victory: NIKKE’s faithful robotic dog, Volt, who sells a variety of themed outfits, items, and cosmetics,” the blurb continues. “Or take a break from the hectic action and enjoy a spot of fishing to see if you can reel in six collectible Goddess of Victory: NIKKE items.”

It sounds like a pretty sturdy update, then, and it’s going to be especially cool to see Scarlet rendered in the art style of Stellar Blade.
