Funnily enough, I've been in a bit of a gaming rut, and booted up Witcher 3, which I haven't played on PS5, and haven't properly played in donkeys. And it's still so good. Yes the combat isn't the most innovative, but it's still fun. The writing is still great, and somehow after all these years, it's still probably the best RPG that I've played.

Crowns used to buy the cool skins. Now it's just money. Loved the game so much, but haven't thought about it in a couple of years honestly

Genuinely a fantastic game, the gameplay was so freaking good, the story was so gritty, emotional, and just heartbreaking, no other game or movie has left me feeling as empty as the ending to this one did. I hope we get a part 3, and I hope it has a bit of happiness in it.

Am I mad? Freelancer mode isn't playable in VR? Every time I try and load it up it says that it's not supported, unless this has been patched in the last few days?

Love this list, great article! Would love to see one of these for "under the radar" of 2024, feel there's so many indie games that I miss, as there's not much news about them, and it's probably my most played genre 😅

The first Gatcha game that has caught me, and as a man in my 30s I can honestly say this is the first game in a while to have me play for more than an hour 😅 just making different outfits and exploring about is just so much fun. Only complaint is that menu screen can be quite obnoxiously loud but the whole game feels so cosy once you start playing!

@Cerny the thumbsticks used to be called analogue sticks, the button there was used to switch to them on or if you were playing a 2d game and didn't want to use them, you'd switch them off and used the d-pad

I might have missed something there, but in the article it says "those who purchase a Digital Edition system moving forwards will have the option to pick up a Blu-ray disc drive later", so those of us who already on the normal digital version can't get it? Or am I just being dumb?

I might be wrong but I thought Ubisoft were using AI to make the cutscenes for AC Valhalla. Maybe not quite cutscenes but the ones were you're standing talking to an NPC. Might be misremembering though.

I'm actually heartbroken, I love fall guys and them going the f2p route has absolutely killed this game for me. No longer can you buy cool outfits with crowns but now with only their microtransactions. I get that they have to make money but it is sad to see.

While I'm a huge Oddworld fan, after reading reviews i definitely would have held off on buying it. Even getting it free through plus was rough, was not the game I expected and was very very different to Oddworld games of old.

Literally just bought Wrc 10 on Saturday 🤣🤣🤣😭 ahh well its still fun

Sayonara Wild Hearts, an absolute blast of a game, great soundtrack and just so enjoyable. Really interesting platinum as well.

The evil vivi's in IX are my favourites, I remember being a kid and seeing them for the first time, it was one of the coolest baddies for me!

Think the game is an absolute blast, but I will say really not happy with the microtransactions. 60 quid for the game, and then if you want cool costumes an extra 8 quid for each one. Pretty shameful like.

Been playing it since launch and loving it. Something about it just speaks to me 😅. Loved The Missing as well!

@Voltan I was a big fan of DmC as well, the music for the game was pretty awesome, as well as some really memorable boss fights and cool levels.

Loving the new season, its great that they're not taking the season 2 maps out of rotation. Just means more and more variety as the game goes on.

I've seen one of these kids grow in front of me, starting off as a normal size and then towering over me (okay they were slightly taller than me). It was pretty weird like.

Definitely going to try these out if they release in Europe though I'm pretty sure I'll never buy the games as they're just not my style.

My Arthur has a handlebar moustache and is regularly trimmed so that he has no five o'clock shadow. I dress him with a thin tie black vest and the flat rimmed black hat ( I forget it's name). He may be a mass murder but he is a sophisticated one.
