I didn't like odyssey. After playing syndicate just before that odyssey felt so strange. As though my character was floating through the game world. She didn't feel physically grounded at all. Hope Valhalla is more like syndicate in that regard.
Edit: Also the world wasn't nearly as interesting. When walking through previous games, especially syndicate and origins I would often stop to just look at how beautiful the game was.

It's a 7 for me. I enjoyed the game for the most part, but the very nature of it being broken into multiple parts made it feel bare bones and incomplete for me. I get SE wanting to further explore Midgar but nothing they included that wasn't in the original felt so essential that it just had to be there and therefore necessitated the game being solely Midgar section. For me I still can't shake the feeling that there's an element of cash grabbing here.

If the game is as political as the rumours say it'll be a pass for me. I play games for escapism, not to be lectured by self righteous people like Neil Druckman

My copy turned up 8 days early, but I just started playing a couple days ago. Had to get through P5R first. I'm liking it so far, but I still don't understand why they felt the need to flesh out Midgar so much, necessitating the game being multiple episodes. None of the extra content I've played so far in my 18 hours has been so brilliant that it just had to be included.

@LN78 I think you're probably right. It's understandable that this whole thing could affect both consoles plans

People are nuts. Horizon was one of my favourite games of this gen. An absolute gem. Surely it's a good thing that more people will now get to experience it

Not gonna lie. I love the game, but after playing for a few days the load times and crashing are bordering on completely ruining the game for me. Beyond frustrating

Load times aren't too bad of a deal breaker, but crashes certainly are. I'll wait for it to be patched

KH3 was such a massive disappointment. I don't even know why, but it just left me cold.

This only just occurred to me a few days ago. I was going through my collection and suddenly realized I'd paid for this expansion pass and had zero content to show for it. I'm hoping the content is still coming, but if it isn't I want a refund asap

Its a shame, as I do enjoy their games and have no intention of ever owning an Xbox. I can't fault them for trying to survive though. Hope they come up with something amazing. Christ knows Xbox is sorely lacking in exclusives
