Capcom has announced Devil May Cry 5, the latest entry in its popular series, has reached a new sales milestone. The excellent action game has now sold more than six million units, which is above and beyond any other entry in the franchise.
This means the game has sold roughly a million copies in six months. Back in April of this year, the publisher boasted it had reached five million sales. It's decent momentum for a game over three years old, though we suspect the PS5 version's constant appearance in PS Store sales has something to do with it.

Possibly the best action game of last gen. The best combat the series has ever seen, endlessly replayable. An absolute masterpiece. I wish this game received the endless attention that God of War 2018 gets.

That's a game i'm expecting to come on sale or our heavenly PS+ Extra. I played all games of the series, minus 5. Always loved DMC.
Would be one more if they’d remove the censorship. So pointless.

@dark_knightmare2 I couldn’t agree more. I got so bored of the same incredibly uninspired level designs I gave up. I swear half of the game was set inside that same tree level, just so dull to look at.
It was worth every penny. Both times. Awesome game!

I played through DM5 over the last week. I loved it, and I’m really impressed this classic genre can shift that many copies.

Censorship is the point, not what is censored. You understand this position, even if it’s more amusing for you to play ignorant.
Putting aside lack of playable Trish and Lady (and some, at best, average level designs), its a really awesome game.
Now trying to wait with patience for DMC6.😮💨

I love DMC, i double dipped on ps4 and ps5DC, but i actually haven't gotten around to it. It's on my ps5 and i have not finished my ps4 games yet. Will get to it eventually.
Another game I bought at launch of the PS5 and have never opened. Haha.
Another game I still need to get around to playing. Still upset that they didn't offer an upgrade path from PS4 to PS5.
