Soviet Shooter Atomic Heart Still Exists, Still Looks Insane

I’ve generally been ok with all 2023 delays but if this gets delayed too I’d be gutted.
It’s easily my most hyped gamepass game from everything that wasn’t delayed.

EDIT: lol just realized I said this on pushsquare and not purexbox. I’m broke so gamepass and ps premium are my solution, especially for new releases.

The game looks great, still I’ll boycott it due to the fact that the developers are Russians and they won’t even protest their idiotic invasion of Ukraine. The whole Soviet theme is even more insulting, knowing that Russians are killing civilians and destroy cities while proudly carrying the Soviet flag with them.
Buying this game would mean I’d indirectly finance terrorists.
I wish Stalker 2 would have released on PS5 instead of this…

@Baircade Mundfish is based in Moscow, how is this game going to be released when they don’t even have access to PS Store is beyond me (or at least, PlayStation and Microsoft supposedly aborted their Russian operations)

Been waiting on this for a few years now. Seems fitting currently.

Ever since I saw the first trailer many moons ago, I've been waiting to play it, shame it seems like it won't be coming out for another year or so.

War sucks, these guys would most likely get closed down if they say anything about the war since you know, they're in Russia.

@RawnDawn I can’t recall buying games where US glorifies killing Syrians or Afghans. It’s not necessarily that the game is made by Russians, but the fact it is glorifying USSR at a time when crimes are committed against an independent country in the name of reviving the same evil empire. It’s like buying a game made by Germans where you play with Nazis after they won WW2 (although we all know that will never happen because, well, they learned their lesson after the War, unlike the Russians)
As a Romanian, with family members who lived under the terror of communism installed by those same so-called “anti-imperialistic” hypocrites, I am more than willing to express my concerns

I'm keeping a very close eye on this game. It looks like a ton of fun and takes inspiration from Bioshock.

Visit Russia, before Russia visits you. Reminder that a great and proud nation like Russia is much more than this one point in history. But that doesn't mean you have to condone what they are doing.

Looks utterly incredible! Has come a looong way since its first showing and the team definitely deserve some recognition, praise and reward - doesn't matter where they come from as civilians never deserve punishment for their governments actions.

Russia has some fascinating and beautiful culture to explore and it certainly seems like a perfect setting for some tense sci-fi horror. Bioshock is one of my all-time favourite videogames and this looks to be a true next-gen spiritual successor 😁

I was worried that we'd never see this considering what's unfolded this year but I'm glad to see that's not the case, and I'm overjoyed that it blows my initial expectations out of the water.

No country on earth is completely innocent of anything, who the 'good' or 'bad' guys are is completely subjective. As for this game, it looks great, I've had my eye on it since the very first teaser and it'll be a day one purchase for me.

I love how ignorant the entire West is when they have never been invaded by Russia, or had to directly deal with it, and love to talk sh*t about anyone who understands that this war is especially enabled by the regular civilians through direct support, or silence and outright ignorance.
Advance Wars is indefinitely postponed because of Russia, but games like this can be released just fine. And all of you call me ignorant?

@SrpskaArtilerija they actually have protested in their messed up communistic system. Even children at the age of 5 and 6 were being arrested. I also have a bunch of Russian friends at my job that are totally against what's going on.
