@Kienda I’m with you, also it only seems that lesser stuff like this is bad and gets removed. If you want to put full nudity and have genitals sliders it’s great and celebrated, but this is too much.
It makes no sense. This is mild and frankly silly compared to that stuff, and I am opposed to the blatant nudity and such being in games.

@freddquadros Okay, so we have some review bombing on a few big games easy to find info about, great, you protect you persecuted AAA games!
Now what about all the indies that don't reviews from sites like this or might be cool or might be shovelware? This isn't for games that get review bombed, this is for smaller games that we attempt to find Steam reviews for, because it's great that I have to go on Steam before I buy a game on PlayStation.

@Bingbongboyo That's insane, you could beat so many games not be able to review it. Just let someone purchase it and review it, maybe include time played like Steam does.

Yes please! People against this are crazy. The fact that I have to on Steam, a competing platform to find out if a game is real or shovelware is insane. This needs to be implemented 10 years ago, later this year is the next best option.
I want to see if a game is good by looking here reviews. This will be a huge boon for indies.

@Deityjester As someone who's been playing since launch day - what are you talking about? The game has more than enough content for its $40. Chiv 2 is a great game and I'm not disappointed at all with it. It was worth it on launch day and they've done great support for it. Game's don't need to be supported for a decade after release, I'm happy to play what we have and to wait for Chiv 3 now.

Does this make any meaningful gameplay or control changes that would justify buying this over already having the PS Classic PS2 version?

@jrt87 I’d easily say RE8 felt like that. It’s one of the most incredible gaming experiences I’ve ever had.

@Moonmonkey We don’t know, it could be that, it could be get rid of some overstock, it could be a test to see how price affects it and if people do want it after a dramatic cut (if it doesn’t sell at this price, it’s dead, if it does, it’s means there’s real interest still and they can leverage it), or could be a combination of the layer two.
There’s a lot of great games for it and some great games in the pipeline. If you think you’d enjoy I’d grab one for this price.

@kendomustdie Is there a graphics mode where this is more frame rate loss? I'm disappointed that this doesn't push it enough that the frame has issues and wonder if I can the setting to make the framerate chug a little.
EDF and bad framerate go together so well.

@ApostateMage I think having a voice for a few things, but not for voice lines is a good in-between. BG3 did that very well.

Return to its roots by not including the blood mage (or something similar) class because it’s too evil…. Right because BioWare games don’t let you make choices including evil ones at their roots…

@Athrum You can pause game with turn based mode to achieve the same basic thing at least. But I do agree.

Sounds like a ton of fun, but I feel like we’re gonna get another GTP gotcha which will ruin a lot of it.

I’m looking forward to the new evil endings, a year later my first playthrough might get an actual ending to it.

I've had fun playing this flat on PC and have heard good things about the VR from a friend on PC, I'll easily get this unless I hear the port is just terrible.

This game was great in the PS2. I’m glad to see it get a remaster. I’m interested in this one.

@nomither6 I want another War for Cybertron type game or at least a remaster. It’s a shame that’s stuck on the PS3.
That series just needs some better melee and we’ll be set.

Remake or remaster?
This is an expensive remake or remaster, it costs more than the original did at launch. I played a little back in the day.

Persona has great romance and I don’t see why it would be an issue here, rulers often also like to use their power lol.

@AdamNovice At least do this I’ll consider getting this one again, because Astrobot is a VR franchise first and foremost to me.
I’m not happy with the lack of PSVR2 stuff since it’s such a great headset.

It won’t be very good, this isn’t surprising at all. It looked this way from the start.
But don’t trash Golden Abyss like that, that was a good game.

If it's like the one in the PS3 HD collection, it'll be super easy to get too. I wish we could just get the HD collection or an upgraded version of that to be honest.

Astrobot will day one if it gets PSVR2 support, but flat I I’m not super interested. Astrobot won me over in VR, and will keep me in VR.

@Ralizah The collectibles are awful, but getting points for your purchases which turn into money is actually pretty nice.

I have $20 unredeemed on that, they better put it back or at least let us redeem our points.

I mean, if they want to redo the game to make you actually feel like a student, sure, otherwise just do a sequel that does it all better and focuses on the student aspect.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 is failed vaporware at this point. It’s never coming.

This sounds so cool. Samurai Warriors 5 made me so uninterested because it redid the art style so it would work on the Switch. This is the way, get Warriors off the Switch Warriors is such an easy power push for new hardware.

I saw, that’s pretty cool. I need to watch season 2 of the anime, as season was pretty good. It also any as fanservice heavy as the it sounds like here.

It’s just a promotion. If you have that many points, you can already just buy it through getting money for your points. So in practice, this offers nothing. I’m surprised they don’t even do $5 off with this.

There’s no way this works, best part of the show leaves because he believes they’re ruining it and the writers dislike the original material. He shouldn't have taken the gig, it’s a sinking ship.

To be honest, there's a decent chance the next game is more scrutinized. they got away with not even attempting to make the third act look finished in BG3, I'm not sure if hiding behind an excellent act 1 will work again. If they keep up the habit of horrible third acts, one day people might start caring.

@Cloud39472 You see, now you're just arguing in bad faith with the racism by making assumptions. I don't know how to interpret this other than assuming that anyone who disagrees with you here is racist, which is very wrong and I really hope I'm wrong about that interpretation.

AC has lore that is special, yes, but it's treated as extraordinary and the people in history act like it's out of place and doesn't belong. It takes a lot of care with the history outside of that.

Leonardo made helicopter designs and all sorts of thing they didn't have the tech to build, so that's fine and a neat nod to the real man.

But Ragnorok, oh boy, Valhalla's story is a mess and the total fantasy it turns into is awful. It has assassin stuff shoved in and from what I've read all around is careless with the history is a rather offensive manner for the series. Odin? Really, Odin? This isn't some AC conspiracy lore, this is... I don't even know what they're trying to do.
Valhalla should not have been an AC game and is a terrible use of the name.

I also disliked and felt the liberties that Syndicate took, the grappling hook wasn't even attempted to have justification, and the train wasn't there with a lame "stomach ache" excuse, and I could feel the lack of care and love for the history compared to Unity.

Plenty has ruined the AC games lately. You see, you just made a weird assumption that none of that bothered me, because for some reason people like assuming racism without any good reason. I've been moaning about the state of AC for years, I just didn't include years worth of moaning for this particular discussion. I could keep going with my moaning about other AC games if you'd like, I have enough material to write a book.

@PuppetMaster You see, not 100% accurate is not a justification to abandoning history entirely and I think that claim is just dumb.
However, at least your consistent with a the bizarre idea of a Japanese protagonist of a game that should be about social stealth in Africa. I think that’s horrible and would push back.

@themightyant Counter point, don't use a real person as a protagonist. Take inspiration from the many others that could have been for a much more rounded and in-setting idea.
