if Bungie put a pve mode with easier difficulty that can be play solo and add some cinematic cut scenes to the game maybe more of you PlayStation guys will try the game

I’m enjoying the game it’s a hardcore game for sure that not for everyone and that’s fine but it have a dedicated audience that enjoying it.

Microsoft will keep supporting ps5 and eventually the ps6 with games Xbox fans need to get over it.

This is the reason why I think if ps6 release in 2027 it would be a dumb move because people are still buying ps5’s and ps5 pro’s like crazy.

Marathon is doing ok but I think destiny 3 and a destiny movie will be the real money maker and Sony understand that. most of the people hating on marathon right now is starving destiny fanboys who want D3 so when D3 finally comes out them fanboys will go ape s*** over it.

This game is a hardcore shooter it was never gonna get Fortnite or arc Raiders numbers, I think bungie and Sony both knew that already. Marathon seem to have a medium size dedicated hardcore fan base who will keep playing and support it if Bungie keep updating it with cool content.

@HammerKirby3 nobody care about project helix really besides the die hard Xbox fans. Sony has nothing to worry about they can take their sweet time with the ps6 and get the most of the current ps5.

Sony isn’t gonna rush out the ps6 for a pc with a Xbox logo on it that cost $1500.

This is a $1000 to $1500 pc Sony have nothing to worry about, The ps6 can come out in 2029 with a crazy amount of exclusives and with a more affordable $500 to $600 price tag.

This is great news exclusives give consoles their identity.

The game is pretty fun. I like short runs better than long runs so far I think that’s the best way to play the game.

@jFug everybody who recent played marathon seem to like the game so I think it might be end being successful. You PlayStation guys who hate live service are just as bad as the Xbox guys who hate single player and call them one and done.

Are we gonna hear people talk about bluepoint for years like they do Concord. I think gamers just want something to stay mad about at this point. The PlayStation 5 has a crazy line up of games this year I don’t think i can even afford all of them.

The PlayStation gamers who are hating on this game just ain’t really that good at competitive online games. All the people who been playing this game seem to really like it. I’m ready to try the game myself this weekend.

Yeah the ps6 definitely isn’t coming out until 2029. Sony about milk the ps5 for what’s its worth. I just want Sony to give me as many games as possible. Im fine if they milk me a little bit I plan on buying some of the service games if I like them I will buy a skin or two lol.

@dardel Sony Santa Monica is a pretty big studio you can’t expect that type of output out of all Sony studios because different studios have different work cultures and team sizes.

That’s unimpressive amount of revenue form pc for 5 years that mostly come from live service games like destiny 2 and Helldriver 2 probably.

Sf6 is the best fighting game this generation so it’s not surprising the game is keep selling.

I don’t think the ps6 is coming out 2027 maybe late 2028 or early 2029 I think some gamers are rushing this gen.

Guerrilla Games and Bungie should develop a killzone reboot together guerrilla work on the single player campaign Bungie work on the gameplay and multiplayer. I think Bungie a talented team Sony just need to refocus them on making great competitive multiplayer games.
