Had a pro since launch. Apart from the odd game with the shimmering I’m very happy with it. Regarding PS6 my bro sent me some rumours ‘apparently’ coming out of Sony saying it’s on track for 2027 💁

Because as a counter to that I would say I cannot stand PC gaming and would probably quit out of the hobby entirely

@DaPrince no it’s because I have a wife, kids and a job so my time is very much limited 🙈. Try to find the time for multiple platforms when you get 2 hours at best to game. A big reason I chose PlayStation and I suspect many other do too is guess what… the exclusives

@BAMozzy no I’m sorry real gamers love all types of games. How can you not see that. Also being able to see that exclusives add value to a platform does not make you a fanboy does it. Like I believe Halo should not be coming to PlayStation and I’m not a fanboy of Xbox. I believe it’s Xbox’s biggest franchise and should stay where it’s true fans are. A lot of people will buy an Xbox to play halo and if it’s the only place you can play it well there is the added value

@BAMozzy fanboys surely are the real gamers though. The ones who will buy multiplats and exclusives. Casuals who just play cod/fifa and gta are not the real hardcore gamers amongst us imo

The correct decision. Now Xbox should do the same. Exclusives are a big plus point to any platform. PC gamers don’t get it and pretend they don’t matter because PC never gets exclusive games

My first time playing Aladdin was the 90s! My cousins from London came up to us in the midlands at Christmas for a family party at our grandmas and we all sat on the dining room floor taking turns playing it. Happy memory that! Never knew there was a platinum trophy for it. I’m intrigued 😁

This weekend I should be finishing my plat run on Roadcraft. Another huge grind from Saber interactive but if you like big boys toys like construction/cranes and big dump trucks I can’t recommend it enough. Also still grinding my paragon 300 level on Diablo4. Starting to get painful now 😁. Praying for double XP event soon 🙏

@somnambulance oh I thought you meant honestly as in 🙈 😆. I checked the PS Store rating out earlier and it’s 4.74 which is pretty damn good but I’m not surprised. You can see the work that has gone into that game. Everything from the lore to the gameplay to the graphics. It’s all top tier stuff and I cannot wait to get started. Hope to maybe join up with others once I’m ready to go 🫡

@somnambulance I played the server slam and found it pretty difficult but why should games be easy. Plus this isn’t supposed to be call of duty. It’s tactical and requires thought. All said and done I rather enjoyed it after a few games and I too hope it’s successful and has longevity. That’s my take anyway 👍🏻. I’ll definitely be getting this once I’ve got my current two platinum runs finished. What’s the trophy list like guys? Difficult?grindy? Or simple

After seeing what PRO can really do with the recent upgrade to PSSR and resi 9 I’m absolutely sure next gen is going to be a bigger leap in fidelity than we’ve seen in the last 2 gens

For me FH5 got boring very quickly with everything being throw at you as opposed to starting from the bottom. So hopefully the new formula in this one will be a better experience. I do prefer the competitive online racing in GT7 to arcade racers but I still enjoy them

@nomither6 I dont think ps5 output has been mediocre. I remember the first few years of PS3 when it was a desert of games. Then the second half of the generation came all the good stuff. Same thing happening here but PS5 had a stronger start than PS3 no denying that

I only buy the PlayStation platform as I haven’t got loads of time for gaming. So for my chosen platform I want it too succeed as much as possible so I know it will stick around and I think a big part of that is exclusive software. I don’t think that’s petty I think it’s common sense. I’d love a new uncharted btw. A thief’s end was just exquisite and I need more history based fiction 😆.

I also think Xbox putting halo on PlayStation is a travesty for the Xbox brand. Keep Xbox only!!

@KoopaTheGamer I genuinely believe it is. If sales numbers are so low on PC what’s the point of keeping them on sale there. So bring the full value back to PlayStation by making it the only place to play what are, let’s be honest, the best games in their respective fields

Good. I also believe the MS strategy of putting games on PS and Nintendo should stop. All it does is devalue the brands. Xbox has shifted nearly 40 million series consoles. That’s a healthy number. Just stop trying to compete with PlayStation numbers and do your own thing Xbox
