Day one to support the PSVR2 announcement!!

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare I will have to check which version I have then, booted it up the other day for the first time in ages (after updating the latest version) and it was crystal clear. Much better than I remembered and no visual issues.

I am early on in the game if that makes a difference? I have also heard you can toggle PSSR on or off, it was on whatever the default option is.

I will have a look later, but for me at least, I was extremely impressed with the results...I guess people's mileage varies greatly with these things...I don't tend to have an issue with mura as well when some people are massively affected by it? 🤔

NMS on PSVR2 is an experience that makes it wholly worthy of the upgrade and shows what can be done if PSSR implemented properly...this was done by ONE guy (Martin cos he deserves kudos) in his spare time so makes a mockery of all the other devs who struggle to implement it.

I understand this is a niche market within a niche market but for the results alone it shows the worth of the Pro.

Ofc it may not be worth it to some people for the amount of games that are properly enhanced and this is fine...the PS5 is a fine console!

All over this! Strategy and tower defence type game are amazing in VR!

Credit where it's due, after the debacle of a news story the other day? This, at least, is how I would expect a PlayStation site to report things on it's much maligned headset...thanks PushSquare...

Just wondering what relevance this has to a playstation-centric site? Another system's old, exclusive games being taken down for a week? Before they were a Sony first party?

VR may not be setting the world alight right now but a large proportion of owners think it is amazing and is the future of gaming (albeit in a different form but you have to start somewhere).

It certainly doesn't help the narrative when PushSquare always knocks it and can't even be bothered to update the release schedule etc. (Over 300 games on the store so far).

The site isn't only read by enthusiasts and someone with a passing interest may be put off by all the negativity. You don't have to extoll it's virtues at every opportunity but consistent slamming of it isn't really helpful.

Personally, it makes me think less of the site and I end up looking elsewhere for news and opinions...not a good look seeing as I have read the site for at least ten years.

Defo going to support the Flat2VR developers and hope to get a lot more gems such as this!!

Anyone played this? Always looks like fun but never felt the need to buy it...in VR though, I'll defo have a look if people say it's decent!

Not complaining at all but it's strange which PSVR2 games PS decide to review...lots of absolute corkers have been missed out but this relatively niche one gets picked up? Potentially looks from the outside that there are only weird games released for PSVR2...

@dark_knightmare2 I actually do but maybe it's more rose tinted glasses? I loved FFXII for the same reason, pre-programming the fights. Just something a bit different, plenty of action style gameplay about...

Dragon age origins had one of the best combat systems I have ever played, loved it!! If they can emulate that then I'm in day one!!

Will it not be counter-productive? A few mtx, finish the game quicker, sell it on then somebody buys it second hand and Capcom get no money for that copy? Only for physical I know and most copies are digital but still...

@NeonPizza out of interest, where do you get your psvr2 news? It's quite hard to find...I use polish paul and without parole on YT and uploadvr and road to vr for websites...apart from that it is mainly Reddit...

@NeonPizza A good point, and tbh that would have been an easy win for a review, they've already played it so known what happens, all you really need then is to confirm it runs well and presto, job done!

Would be a massive shame if VR were to die but hopefully the PC thing may help...

@get2sammyb I will echo the other sentiments here...please, please take this list down unless you are going to take it seriously.

You are inadvertently doing a massive disservice to the system and this can even be seen by some of the comments in this thread, 'seeing the lack of titles for 2024, just made the choice easier'.

There have been weeks already this year when 4 games have been released and this is half of your entire yearly list!

The whole PSVR2 reporting on this site is a mark on your normal exemplary reporting and this list is frankly embarrassingly poor!

I ask again, please, please update or take down...

@jorel262 What's too old if you don't mind me asking? For me it's rejuvenated my love for gaming after getting a bit stale with flat games...

That was absolute 10/10 for me! Had lowered expectations as usual for these events but that one had me hooked for the full go with only a couple of hits dragging slightly...Bravo...👏

Overwhelmingly positive ratings on store and anecdotally so will defo be getting this one! 62 games and counting and only one I am not bothered about playing again! Not bad for a system with 'no games'!

@liamcroft just a thanks for the recent amount of PSVR2 articles...Sony don't seem to support it enough so it needs you guys to show some love...thanks again!!

@__jamiie no but I am wanting to know this also...what happens after the warranty runs out? Do you have to buy a whole new headset bundle? Surely Trading Standards have something about this but I haven't ever found anything?? It really needs sorting out...love my PS5 and PSVR2 but can't stand Sony at the moment!!

Defo up for some of this!! Prob just be added to my backlog of VR games though...

Especially with Vertigo 2 releasing 15th Jan!!

Really don't understand why they do the work and then lock it behind a time limited event! Surely best to keep it forever? I get that it may boost engagement for the few days it is on but surely some option to play it later...

@Mostik A great selection already...it's expensive but a wheel for GT7 is amazing. I tend to play Synth Riders a lot. Racket Fury for £8 at the moment is a steal, full price not so much...Ragnarock and air guitar are great fun also, again, when on sale they are a steal! Demeo is good fun for a bit of strategy.

Creed and C-smash are really good for a bit of a workout (as well as being fun!).

I am wanting to get Barbaria and Propagation: Paradise hotel but am really poor with the horror (I am about to dive in with RE4 remake, will prob last ten minutes! 🤣)

Finally, Pistol Whip is superb!!

I will say with what you have already I would wait for sales for everything else as you have enough to keep you going!

Anyway, hope you enjoy it all (don't know if you have tried VR before but don't push through any motion sickness you may get at first, just take a break).

Day one if PSVR2 version...Thumper was great but still need to finish it!

Pathfinder was unplayable for me...never got over an hour into it without a hard crash...put me off Owlcat games for good even though I really wanted to play the sequel!

Just got RE4 on black friday in preparation for this, perfect timing Capgod!!!

Great month for me!! First time I've said that in a long while...wanted to play all 3 of these!!

@__jamiie This statement exactly! Ps3/360 era games should be relatively easy and quick.

The install base may be small but im guessing the attach rate is fairly high, especially with AAA games...

Love the electro swing tracks and the game is amazing!! Could do with some indie tracks personally, Couteeners, Reytons, Libs, DMA's etc. Woild be amazing, it's what makes me jealous of pcvr...

Another game gone from 'day one' to 'deep sale only if it gets patched properly' - Sony are trying their best to kill PSVR2 by letting things of this quality be released - and by basically lying on the blog etc. about its VR credentials...

Absolutely cannot wait to play this in VR (and then turn it off after 10 mins, terrified, cos I'm a big baby!!)

Personally, looking forward to PSVR2 stuff, even about games previously announced! Sony needs to show some love for it cos it's a great bit of kit!!

@Hamst88 agreed entirely!! No PSVR2, no sale!! Such a shame as I would love thos in VR and probably spend more time than in GT7...that's EA for you though...
