@Romans12 think the BF6 campaign is only going to be 4-5 hours long so might not be worth the price. The multiplayer is very cinematic though and almost feels like single player set pieces half the time.

Wildlands was great. Breakpoint was rubbish. Always thought Wildlands with a more realistic and tactical approach (eg not able to land a helicopter 100m away from a main base unnoticed) would be epic.
But thought it was a pretty great game to live out the special ops / SAS fantasy. Airdropping into position etc. (if played in a more mature fashion…)

Standard business strategy of restructuring to pursue a new business direction, which it sounds like they are doing in this case. If they were simply firing and hiring for the same role then there’d be grounds for unfair dismissal.
Arrowhead’s fast fixes (and updates in general) on the fly, with the appearance of quite obvious bugs with new patches, is often representative of a software company not having a rigid QA system in place complete with automated testing to see if any new code breaks old code. So yes can get something new out quick - but at the risk of terminids infiltrating the system! They should probably slow down a bit and get some rigorous testing in place!

Look no further than Battlefield. Paid expansions in Battlefield 4 and previous entries were absolute quality, and a juicy bit of content.
Ironically though I remember at the time a lot of negative PR from gaming press and YouTubers around splitting the community etc.
Now we have the absolute car crash that is 2042 and the dropping of BFV once it actually started turning a corner, all for this awful trend of live service.
@IonMagi use NowTV. It’s their pay monthly subscription service. Usually there are deals out there too to get first few months free etc. grab it when it comes out

The movement is amazing and love the idea of inside/outside vs day/night cycles…but the world didn’t grab me. Much preferred the first one which felt more…grounded? (Feels an odd word to use in a game like this)
Sounds awesome! If true, which I think it is guessing by the number of rumours pointing to this for a while now, so happy they went this route rather than full battle royale! Loved playing Hunt Showdown, excited to see that mixed with Battlefield!
Is a pre-alpha build, hence the lack of textures and clunkiness - so would probably ignore the general feeling of movement etc, but what I thought was really interesting is the UI, mechanics around calling in vehicles, and of course the map sneak peek!

Larger maps sound awesome, and imagine that due to the size of them they'd feel like multiple maps depending where you are fighting within them...just hope the density, detail and destruction capability on the maps isn't sacrificed for that higher player count. But lets see!
Leaks point towards extra emphasis on "team/squad play" so curious to see if that is true. Really liked the squad points on BFV to unlock perks - although did think in practice it was quite pointless. V2 rocket was cool but rest were underwhelming.
Been playing a lot of BFV lately but more often than not dipping back into BF4...really happy with the setting of this new one! Jets, helicopters...Wonder if the vehicles now like jets will have cool second seta options like the helicopters?
