You CANNOT tell any difference between 60 or 30?
That I just don't believe.
Demon's souls is actually unayable at 30fps, whereas miles morales is a lot better at 30fps but it still feels sluggish compared to 60.
Black ops is crap but the multiplayer at 120fps is like liquid.
Division 2 on ps5 at 60fps is pretty nice as well and I'm really keen to play metro exodus with the new ps5 update

Watching jackfrags playing the pc version and it just looks so meh. If it's even worse on console then no wonder it reviewed so poorly.

I've missed a good BF. I think the last one that turned out to be a worthy bf was number 4, all the way back to the ps4 launch era. I even enjoyed when everyone else seemed to be having issues with it.
None of the others have interested me despite being free. BF3 was also absolutely mint and as much as I would love to see a BC3 It would appear that they're rebooting the bf franchise and dropping the number off the title.
Games like these need destruction, without it they're just shallow twitch shooters with no excitement or depth.

I've had to install the game on the PS5 which is on my oled, but I have capacity to output it to a rotated screen but it's a faff!
I'll probably just play it on the oled and use the slightly smaller window.
These collections are always good though, and a cave one would also be great.
I can't understand why we can't get arkanoid collections too, they'd work so well on the touchpad.
The newest version of space invaders has the space invaders vs arkanoid off ios included and its great and actually uses the touchpad to control the vaus too!

Symphony and memories were rare inclusions on a jap only collection and I don't think memories has been ported to any other system.

@Mostik commando didn't have a rotating stick, that was SNK's Ikari Warriors.

I've had a total nightmare with this.
Firstly it wouldn't allow me to access the full collection I'd paid for, despite restating numerous times and then deleting and re-downloading.
Then it started working 7 hours later, only for my arcade sticks to stop working! Buttons would work but not the stick! This despite them both being fine earlier. It wasn't just in-game, they wouldn't work with the ps dash.
So I'd rotated my spare TV and sorted out the cables but now I couldn't play the games with my sticks, so I uploaded my saves to the cloud and begrudgingly installed it to my ps5 to play on my gaming oled, (55BX, my 65 C8 is my lounge TV) and lose the verticality.
Everything works fine but having to swap to the dualsense to change roms is annoying.
So I still don't understand how a game like this doesn't automatically save your scores, having to manually load and save is quite frankly, ridiculous to say the least.
Installing this game and trying to play it has a bit of a pain for me and it's taken a bit of a shine off.
I think the collection needs a lot of work, it's very backward thinking in a lot of areas and once again the age old problem with old arcade emulation rears it's head with a terribly poor trophy list.
Its not a deal breaker but you can't really award trophies for completing certain portions or reaching in game milestones with a programme like this unfortunately.
So it's a good review and I appreciate this game taking up push square space and it'd be great to see some more games like eco fighters make the collection. I've been waiting for a home version of Varth for years but now I have it I can't believe how bad i am at it!

@Ristar24 yes it sucks but now I have deleted and reinstalled, the games have appeared but my sticks won't work, the option to select them isn't there and they won't even work on the ps dash, buttons do but not the actual stick. I hold the ps button down to activate the arcade stick and I can't select my profile. Same thing on the other and this hasn't ever happened before. It's a total mess and has soured my day off. I was going to buy bubble bobble 4 friends as its currently on offer for £22 but this has put me off buying ps4 games atm.
I'm so angry with this, it's very very frustrating.

@Ristar24 my friend deleted the app and dlc and it still didn't work, then they suddenly appeared. Unfortunately for me after buying it 7 hours later I still can't play anything and Sony won't refund me.

@Ristar24 yup, cheers, that's what I had to do it. However the extra games I've bought aren't available for my game share pal either!

@Amnesiac I've tried that and I'd already done it before. I restarted it and now the only issue is changing the roms but I have to use a pad to sign in, and no autosave. Surely you don't have to manually load and save every single time you play?
Still no content available for me despite buying all the dlc.
I've tried emailing Sony for a refund but it's a waste of time because I can't send a video showing the issue, I sent one under the 25 mb threshold but it came back, I've trimmed it three times now but any less is pointless as it won't show up the problem, besides I WANT TO PLAY this, not get a refund but currently it's dead content.

@Futureshark have you managed to get it to auto save your scores etc?
I have restarted the game and ps4 but when it asks me to select between JP and ENG roms I can't because guess what button does that!

I have purchased all packs and they aren't available for play either. What a mess.

@Futureshark yes mate it does but it doesn't make any difference. I managed to get 1943 started by signing in with a pad, pressing the touch pad and then re-signing in with the stick.
GnG started on the stick with the x button but 1943 wouldn't.
RE-mapping the buttons won't work because you can't remap the touch pad!
I also couldn't get the game to auto save either.
Seems to be a bit of a mess imo.

The original is nails, I used to be able to get to level 3 but now I can't even kill the red demon at the end of the graveyard!

I have just bought the arcade stadium and the original game but none of the games are playable with my arcade sticks because the button to start the games is a touch pad and arcade sticks don't have them and that button isn't reconfigurable!
I haven't even played any of the other games. Arcade sticks out, TV rotated and its impossible to play properly
You can login with a controller and then swap it to the stick but it's a PITA.
Ghost's n goblins did start the x button but 1943 won't.
I'm gutted tbh, vthe whole package is a right faff and a bit of a missed opportunity, it's not intuitive for such a simple array of games.

@BaronSqwelch I bought a pair of SF 5 MADcatz fightstick alphas for £27 each off amazon, this should be a good test for them.
I've already platted ghost blade HD with em, no way can I play shooters on a pad.

Isn't 1943 free as well? I plan to buy the full lot so I can use my arcade sticks and turn my spare TV 90° and play Varth:Operation Thunderstorm in full Tate!

@The_New_Butler good points but it doesn't really matter as the comparison to playing games on a console for 360 quid and the easy nature of plug and play vs the vastly more expensive, (maybe 4 or 5 times at least), and PITA issues with a PC really means it's not a genuinely fair comparison imo.
I suppose its like buying a BMW M4 competition when an M420d still gets you to work.

I've not played bf since 4.
I dl'd bf1 as it was free but none of the servers had any players in! I tried a couple of times but nowt.
I won't bother with bf5, I don't like the old guns tbh.
I've always thought a ***** bf beats a good call of duty tbh and the last decent one was mw2, the two games are vastly different and I have high hopes for the new BF.
The complete lack of environmental destruction in cod is just bizzare and the guns... Purple, pink, gold. Purple and diamonds... I know its aimed at school children but it is fun. For a few days.
Battlefield is something you play for months, even years.
I want the days of BC2, and BF3 and 4 back with cross console play and next gen graphics and sound.
I don't want pc hackers in there, it'd be great to have the option to NOT have those type of players infecting my games and spoiling games for honest players.

@Coltaine22 it really wouldn't. Consoles are far cheaper and far easier to use than pc's.

You have our games for pc (still costs a good 5X the price of a ps5 for a decent pc) and we don't want unreal engine 5 on any ms consoles.

I downloaded it at launch and never played it before I deleted it. It was nothing like the game I was expecting. I wanted a mix of rocket league and Blur and after watching Eurogamer play it I decided it was neither.

Sounds like a top game but why not max the res at 1440p or similar to stop the frame rate drops. It makes sense no sense at all, hopefully they'll patch it.

My favourite is R-Type delta.
