Nah, i enjoyed these games growing up when this was the standard but it's not something i want to go back to.

I grabbed G&G on the Switch version of Capcom Arcade, and I’ll download it again here. I’d really like pack 3 for Giga Wing. Though for now, I’m keeping my pennies for Ratchet. Only a fortnight to go!

@Steel76 to be fair PS plus has had some amazing offerings recently - and I know they're not free but it's still amazing value for what you get (despite the fact that I'd bought one or two of them already)

With Nintendo, you're incredibly lucky if you can get 25% off RRP, let alone get decent games on a relatively cheap subscription service. I couldn't care less whether they offer an old classic that I'm not likely to finish for "actually free" as opposed to "free if you're a subscriber"

And this isn't a console war comment either. I have no particular commitment to Sony, but I own both a PS5 and a switch and I know which one I consider better value for money in terms of games

@ShogunRok Sure, I just don't understand why would someone bring another system in a ps website, it's not like we all own the 3 consoles. idgaf what's happening in xbox and nintendo because I don't own a series x or a switch

Picked this up yesterday. Probably won't play it, though lol

I happily picked up the full set of games and am really impressed. The game selection is absolutely stellar and the challenges and timed events really work well in this format. Some of the later arcade shooters could have been released as stand alone titles. My only gripe is that the punishing AI from Super SF2’ has made it to the collection intact and continues to wallop me.

Damnit, I thought this was the new 'Resurrection' game that came out on the Switch and is coming to PS4/5!

I have the game in many other compilations, I remember the old Capcom arcade compilation on PS3 (which I did buy in full) gave you Black Tiger for free. Worth a download, though I doubt I'll buy the packs for this.

@OthmaneAD Other people may be interested in other consoles. I am not interested in every game that come out on PlayStation and you aren't interested in other consoles. We have to let others like what they like as long as it doesn't affect us or our nearest and dearest and isn't against the law of course. Wondering why it was free for all Switch users at launch but not all PlayStation and not at all for Xbox users. Assuming it involves money being thrown at Capcom hence why the package was on Switch first.

I have never ever managed to get past the first level of Ghosts 'n Goblins :-/ Shame because I liked it + they got a invincibility cheat you can buy to, hmm a way for me to see level 2 then (but pointless really getting that)

Fun to watch streamers play it but not my cup of tea. Sekiro/Souls games are peanuts compared to those hardcore retro games. You'll need god tier reflexes and patience to get 5 mins of progress after hours of trial and error. 😹

@Carl-G There’s a nifty rewind feature included that might help with that. It’ a welcome addition considering how brutal some of these games are. The only issue I’ve run into is accidentally hitting it in the SF games because I usually map other inputs there.

I have my G&G on PSP. It is hellish game. Cannot even imagine complete it without cheats. 😃

Isn't 1943 free as well? I plan to buy the full lot so I can use my arcade sticks and turn my spare TV 90° and play Varth:Operation Thunderstorm in full Tate!

I picked it up alongside game pack 2.
Only played Street fighter 2 so far. Unplayable with the PS5 dpad sadly.

Will get stuck into Carrier Airwing after work!

@BaronSqwelch I bought a pair of SF 5 MADcatz fightstick alphas for £27 each off amazon, this should be a good test for them.
I've already platted ghost blade HD with em, no way can I play shooters on a pad.

My only memories of Ghosts ‘n Goblins are dying repeatedly in level 1.
No seriously, I can’t get past level 1.
I’m someone who’s beaten Dark Souls 1 and 3, Ninja Gaiden for Xbox, and Demons Souls. But Ghosts ‘n Goblins? Not a frigin chance.

Actually looking forward to the upcoming games to be released on here. Would love the Marvel games and Alien vs Predator but that’s asking too much.

@Steel76 the Switch version gave Ghost ‘n Goblins for free. The PS4/5 version gave 1943 for free.

As a bonus for PS Plus members, they are giving Ghosts ‘n Goblins for free on the PS4/5 too.

Given each arcade pack is $23AU individually,it's probably the only bargain likely out of a rhino charging Capcom in the meantime!
