Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been written off by many players, but it's looking pretty good in this latest trailer. That the game has live service elements has left a bad taste in the mouths of fans, but WB Games and Rocksteady have leaned into the action shooter's story here, and it looks like there's still some promise.

The trailer shows off much more about the Justice League itself; many of its members have been corrupted by Brainiac and are laying waste to the city of Metropolis. The premise has you and up to three friends playing as the Suicide Squad in a seemingly impossible mission to eliminate the superpowered threats. We see heroes like Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, and The Flash in the trailer, showing off gameplay of fighting against them as well as various cutscenes.

It looks pretty good from where we're sitting, although obviously the jury's still out when it comes to the game's overall structure. However, if it has a great comic book story at its core and a fun campaign to blast through, maybe it'll be better than a lot of people fear.
