PS5 Exclusive Stellar Blade Dated for 26th April on PS5

The game looks absolutely stunning and the voice acting isn't bad at all. And let's not forget those multitude of outfits 😍, day one buy from me.

Also depending on how well this game does, I can see Sony acquiring the developer. They also have a successful mobile division that would be great for Sony's mobile push.

This game looks...stellar.

In my eyes the game is being carried by the protagonist. It would have way less hype without her.

Damn April, that's a surprisingly close window compared to a lot of other games that announce the release a year or two later.

Looks really good besides some slightly janky facial animations. I'll definitely be getting it, looks like there's a lot in way of customization.

I was more excited for Rise of The Ronin before but I think this has moved ahead due to the great showing and sheer lack of info for RoTR.

This actually looks interesting once they showed the gameplay, but man that monotone detached presentation of characters and world was difficult for me to get through. Let us figure that stuff out ourselves!

Stellar Blade looks incredible and is a day one for me, the only very small complaint (very very small) is that her footwear looks weird, the shoes look like centaur shoes or the foot binding from ancient China.

That being said that can be solved using a different skin so it's a non issue, honestly probably wasn't even worth mentioning it but I felt like writing apparently 🤷

Edit: My bad I thought those were different characters they were showing not costumes, so a super day 1!

Definitely a day one buy for me. Seems like there's a lot more to the game than just hack and slash. And the world looked stunning.

This was not a very good showing with that terrible narration. Still not sure at all what the gameplay loop is in this and it's clearly been downgraded. Is it level based, is it open world is it just hack and slash combat or deeper? Who knows.

Hopefully we get some actual deep dives leading up to release. This informed us of nothing really

I don't entirely understand what this game is. I thought it was going to be a linear action game, like Bayonetta, but with the economy and side quests... what is the structure of this game?

I'm interested, I just want more info.

@Logonogo I think aspects of it look a bit generic. I think some of mecha and creature designs look pretty great.

I mean come on.... This is a dumbed down Nier. She even has a pod following her around. That being said I will be buying it anyways while waiting for a new Nier game.

Day 1 buy for sure. Been waiting too long for anything new regarding the game, but we finally got a proper trailer and a release date. I didn't think the SoP was that good overall, but this was easily the highlight for me.

This reminds me so much of Nier Automata, my all-time favorite game, I’m so excited for this.

Well I've had my eye on this one for a little while, but that video popped it out my my head, looks incredible.

Not sure whether the combat is more Devil May Cry or Dark Souls, seems a bit of both but looks fantastic.

Looks like they have been inspired by nier to say the least... from the combat to the characters and the world. It's gonna be a wait for sale for me as this is not the kind of game I feel like buying rn. I was trying to plat dmcv and got burned out recently

I’m really interested, but not quite committed yet. It’s a little too on-the-nose with the NieR Automata inspiration. Enemies look more varied than NieR with the monsters and such, but part of what made it one of my favorite games from last gen was the mind blowing narrative, so hopefully Stellar Blade can deliver there.

Holy ***** this is most likely a day 1 purchase.

In a post-apocalyptic world where you are going to knife fight with bleeding monsters, I would expect to dress accordingly...

This 'incredible' exclusive game will be less remembered than Haze.
