This review leaves many questions open, sorry. What other gaming headsets did you test and do you compare it to, Robert? And how is the sound placement in the biggest online shooters, such as Fortnite and Apex - where placing is all that counts?

For Medium.com/@Scarbir, I'm currently working on a comparison of the best gaming headsets for $25. There is a LOT of difference in product quality even within that price class. And there are some excellent ones too...

I found out, though, that singleplayer experiences aren't the main point where the headsets differ or shine. It's the possibility to locate your surroundings in online multiplayer games. That's the main aspect of a good gaming headset. Will you test those and add your findings to this review?

If I find the controls and the combat of the earlier Trines too floaty, will I still have this problem here?

To be fair, the chances that MLB is also in the European package, is very small.

I hope it will be changed.

Four player split screen has become two player split screen and the online coop is a mess? I'll skip this.

@carlos82 Whoah, Astrobot wasn't even nominated? Incredible. It's one of the standout games for me on the entire PlayStation 4.

I would like to have seen a four player split screen mode in this one. Would make it stand out of the crowd for me.

I played the original Destiny for fifteen minutes and already found it too repetitive, but I guess there's nothing wrong with trying the sequel...

God of War III is the top tier for me, without a doubt.

A good month, however I'm personally quite happy with the PS Plus titles this month. God of War III and Destiny will probably keep me from buying these games - which is great in itself with Red Dead Redemption 2 coming up...

The original for PS4 is a great coop game... at least, if you're willing to deep dive into it. It's not as pick up and play as Diablo, and the story parts are hard to invest in if you play this for a couple of hours with a friend only. Then again, everything doesn't have to be Diablo or Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.

Sad. This looked so great with characters from other games in it. Now it just directs attention to Smash Bros even more...

For me, it's not a problem that the new Sonic racer is slower than Transformed, if it improves the tension in the race - especially on split screen. The tracks seem kind a dull though. And... will there still be a non teammate race mode?

Looking at the screenshot of the bridge, I'm thinking: this is not an art style, this is just unfinished.

I hope they release the right build.

@Quintumply Exactly, and the execution of TrailBlazers is also poor on some very important points. For example: no random track mode in split screen, no cup mode, vague scoring system without implementation while playing (so the score comes out of nowhere after the race) and on top of that, the AI is already too hard on Easy mode.

Hoping for a great Mario Kart-like experience on the PS4, and that this looks a bit more dull than Transformed doesn't have to be a bad thing, if it actually generates more momentum and tension in the split screen department.

Still, I'd rather get my hopes up for GRIP. Just played Trailblazers splitscreen yesterday. Really wanted to like that, but it's such a dissapointment.

It's very, very hard to make a fun kart racer if you don't have a Nintendo cast, it seems.

I think my winners are the ones that really stand out on something only games can do.

1. Cyberpunk 2077 (A world I really want to conquer)
2. The Last of Us II (That tension!)
3. Death Stranding (The concept, the weirdness, the world)

@ztpayne7 They did? In 4 and the expansion? In that case I should consider buying them now in the sale...

It may be less engaging, but I hope Naughty Dog considers a Horizon-like easy mode that focuses on the story. I would love to follow and complete the story of the first game, but it's just too intense for me. A story mode would come in great.

Seeing the amazing video footage of the sequel, it may be even more intense. Too much for story-seeking me. So if you're reading this, Naughty Dog...

@zeppray Oh man, the genre of The Witness is totally my thing. I’ve seen the 10 out of 10s but sheesh, I’m halfway in and bored to death by the repetition. There’s some other recent perfect scores I don’t agree with, given to mostly puzzle and indie titles lately. There was one indie RPG that scored tens of which the developer himself said: ‘Wait, what? It’s more like an 8.’

I do not jump on the next 10/10 without thought.

This is one of the very few four player splitscreen racegames on the PlayStation 4 and along with Trackmania, one of the best. It's a shame it's just a sidenote this review, whereas it should be the headline. Just like the excellent Blur on the PS3, it will be the reason for people to buy this game. Sorry - I don't think this review nails it by looking at the singleplayer mostly.

A great looking racegame with four player splitscreen. Yes. I mean YES! Please control well and have plenty of content...

@clvr I think not. It's quite repetitive - emphasis on quantity over quality. Try Dishonored (2), Bioshock Infinite or the Wolfenstein games instead.

@Paranoimia My experience is also like this. Many people around me bought it, but were letdown by the game after a week or two. Tried the demo myself, but stopped when I had to shoot dozens of the same enemies in the very first fight. 'Meh, this again'.

So no substance, only style then. Can't really figure out why this is a 7/10.

I love games like these... only with coop. It's a pass for me then, but great score!

@paradox32 In the same month as Microsoft? Don't think so.

I personally think it could be Killzone. Might trick players into eyeing other new shooters like Wolfensteins and CODWW2, and maybe even put Horizon even further on the map. A family friendly platformer such as Rayman could also be the case. Or The Order 1886.

Hanging around in Oxenfree, which I've just started. Might as well give Just Cause 3 a spin.

World seems lush... action a bit stiff.

If this trailer doesn't warn you enough, I'll gladly add it's from the creators of the horrible Giana Sisters-games.

Been catching up to the once free-with-Plus Bioshock Infinite. Thought the season pass would never be cheap again, but... here it is! Will definitely buy.

Oh, and adding The Witness to the basket as well.

Saw this for the first time recently, was triggered instantly. Certainly looks very good - along with Deadcore my most anticipated indie game of this summer.

Not just the visuals are Limbo-like. This is a straightforward ripoff, like so many bad Portal-clones are.

Nice.

Beyond Good & Evil 2: No idea how this will turn out, but I find the premise more exciting than most of the games on this list.

Anthem: I'm afraid we didn't see any gameplay. It was just too polished. Still, if the world comes close in the final game...

God of War: Absolute favorite. Really like the new direction and yes, the art is great too.

I miss The Sword of Ditto in this list by the way, but I guess I'm a bit of weirdo for that.

It's fairly simple how this works, right? You just remember the highlights from past editions - not any edition in particular. Then you compare the new releases to the ones that had the biggest impact on you.

Personally, I would like to have seen more surprises. Little less serious here and there, little more adventure and fun. Also I'm letdown by the number of fake trailers; games definitely not reaching that level of detail and smoothness when they will be released. Metro Exodus, Far Cry 5, Spider-Man and Anthem... much wow... so fake.

But we'll see. At the moment, The Sword of Ditto is the only game I'll definitely pickup. It just screams so much fun.

It's still Focus Interactive. Look at their games, then think how good this might actually be.

One of the finest trailers I've seen the last shows, and the setting of this really intrigues me. Less trophy hunting, more political tension - it feels like. Think it's pretty promising.

Bought Adr1ft and played it, didn't really like it so far. Bought Overcooked and liking it, but want to save it for multiplayer madness. Picked up Stories again and actually liking it - especially the combat feels simple, yet good.
