September 2017’s PlayStation Plus lineup is right around the corner, and after a great update last month with Just Cause 3 and Assassin’s Creed: Freedom Cry, everyone’s pondering what the next crop of PS Plus games will be. We’ve got you covered with our monthly PS+ predictions post.

When will September 2017’s free PlayStation Plus games be announced?

We’re expecting September 2017’s PlayStation games to be announced on Wednesday, 30th August. Obviously, we’ll bring you all of the news the second that it breaks.

When will September 2017’s free PlayStation Plus games release?

PlayStation Plus games always release on the first Tuesday in every month, so you’re looking at Tuesday, 5th September for next month’s crop of goodies.

What are September 2017’s free PlayStation Plus games?

Well, that’s what we’re here to discuss. New releases on 5th September include Knack 2 and (a day later) Destiny 2, but you’re not getting either of those as part of your PlayStation Plus subscription. The original Knack is a possibility we suppose, but putting it out for free on the same day as its sequel could cannibalise sales somewhat. Pixel art role-playing game Songbringer is also due out on the same day as we expect the PlayStation Plus games to release, and would be a good shout seeing as it’s been a while since we’ve gotten a brand new, launch day indie title as part of the subscription.

Which free September 2017 PlayStation Plus games do you want?

And now for the big question: what do you want? Are you hoping Sony dips into its archives once again like it has in recent months – or do you want to see it offer something all new as part of September 2017’s PlayStation Plus lineup? Is there a particular franchise or genre you’d like to see made available as part of the Instant Game Collection?
