They also claim that Activision and the Call of Duty franchise is completely unimportant inside the gaming industry. This is their way to show themselves as victims and to make PlayStation appear as the villain who controles the whole gaming industry.

People always think you have to be the number one to be a healthy company. PlayStation should concentrate on their business and what they are good at. Let Xbox have the rest. PlayStation can’t compete with the cashflow of Microsoft and they shouldn’t try. Just keep making great games. Look at Nintendo. They are a healthy company and not bothered by Xbox nor PlayStation. They do their own thing and that is what PlayStation should do.

@danzoEX maybe it’s because you are an American, but me as a European. I just need to look at people without them saying a word and I just know. You are German or British or Italian or Spanish or Greek. And yes most British people have a certain look and you just know. I’m 99% of the cases I am right. The same when you are in Africa. For white people its difficult to distinguish between the different races. A black girl from Congo I dated knew just by looking at someone if they were from Nigeria or Ethiopia or Ghana etc.

I buy them also digitally for convenience. But if I really like a game very much. I also buy a physical copy of the game. What drives people the most to buy digitally is that the physical version has a lot of bugs and gets more and more on release a update fix.

The joysticks are positioned wrongly at least one of them. So no buy for me 🙃

I got Premium because of a PlayStation Now subscription, but when it ends in November I will switch to Extra. It’s a better deal for me.

@GreatAuk I will pay 70 gladly not only for this generation but also for any future console generation remakes. Because I know Naughty dog will keep making great games with the money they earn from this game. If you want cheap go get game pass and play their cheap mediocre games while I will enjoy this remake of a Masterpiece. Nobody forces you to buy this game. Naughty dog is not a charity organization and need to get paid for the work they put into developing and remaking and remastering games.

No it’s not! I want this version of TLOU1. And I am happy they are making it. If you don’t want to buy it just don’t. That simple. This is a remake not a remaster. If you don’t understand the difference maybe you are just not smart enough to play games.

@Titntin but that’s a bad service from Xbox being a subsidiary of Microsoft you should think they were able to deliver PC versions of their games running perfectly.

@stormyuk why would you be interested in game pass? With a gaming PC and PlayStation you already have access to all games available on the marked for Xbox, PlayStation and PC. I don’t think there are any Xbox exclusives that are not coming out on PC as well.

For me Nintendo Direct mini. Next to my PlayStation I also have a Nintendo Switch and the prospect that I can play Persona 3-5 Royal, Nier Automata and No man’s sky on my Switch in October is just amazing! And bad for my bank account 🙃

I didn’t even buy it, because I knew I wouldn’t like it. I tried my best to like FromSoftware games but they are just not for me. And I am not spending money on a game that I probably won’t play out of frustration. But I do believe they are great games just not for me.

@mariomaster96 and now you can enjoy it as a new gamer with next gen graphics and next gen features. Be happy for players new to PlayStation and players that want to enjoy the game again. And yes I think it is very nice of them. But don’t feel forced to buy it. Just enjoy the older versions. Don’t worry about it.

If PlayStation had a 2000 billion dollar company behind them I could maybe understand this wining about the price. But PlayStation is not a charity organization and I for my part will buy the game at full price, since I know it will help PlayStation to keep producing triple A games. If that’s not important for you guys just switch to game pass it is cheap. Ok you have to live without real triple A games, but since cheap is what you are looking for you will feel right at home.

And who is the guy behind you holding you at gunpoint and forces you to buy this remake?

@Bleachedsmiles it’s nothing about healing I am happy for any Xbox player to be able to play these great games. It’s the way Xbox behaves and I know PlayStation are not innocent, but they never did something like this. It’s just petty.

@Legacy2K yeah but if you read that Xbox forced an embargo on Atlus for 48hrs regarding any information of PlayStation releases than I think it’s something PlayStation never did for any multiplattform games.

They release those titles on game pass that doesn’t mean they are next generation releases/remasters.

I think this shows also the new reality that xBox is offering Developers so much money they will do anything to get on game pass. They paid Atlus a truckload of money. I am sure.

@hromm_r which great exclusives? Starfield didn’t impress me the graphics look like last generation. It’s has more of a Mass Effect game vibe for me at least.

Wouldn’t PlayStation have announced it with the last state of play if Persona 3 and 4 would be released again on PlayStation? I think future Persona games will be released on xBox as well.

Always! Will buy it for every future console! It’s one of the best games I ever played. And people are a bit limited in their opinion on remakes. Every year there are new gamers and they haven’t experience this game before and not to remaster or remake a game for those players is depriving them of the experience. So maybe learn to be less selfish in your judgment and think more about the growing gamer community and be happy for new gamers. It would suit you.

I just don’t see it, what is so great about Minecraft? But than again I have the same with Fortnite.

No xBox are not capable of producing triple A games on the same level as PlayStation.

I think it’s a win. Why bother updating two systems when your endgame is to shut them down. It’s a security measure. Most people don’t create their PSN account on the vita anymore anyways. They already did that on their PS4 or PS5 or older PS systems.

Never underestimate a steady stream of cash. I don’t believe live service games will become the majority of PlayStation games. It just completes their portfolio. So I don’t mind them making live service games. They need to create more revenue to be able to compete with xBox and other game developers.

I personally think HFW has a great story. Clocked more then 200hr now. At my second run through and still discovering new things. Can’t stop playing. Doctor I have a problem! 🙃 Edit: 200hr in total that is.

Game pass is like Netflix. In the beginning it was new and shiny. They dominated the streaming market and probably still do. But now other services appear as well Disney plus, HBO Max, Prime Video, Paramount plus and Apple TV just to name a few. In the future we will have Ubisoft plus, EA play, Take Two plus and game pass and all the other gaming developers with their own service and before you know it you have to subscribe to several of them to play your games. Because you will only get them digitally. Just like with streaming. To watch the shows and movies I want to watch I have to subscribe to several services and in the end I have to pay more money then I want to because everyone of these companies wants a piece of the cake. Really a great future for gaming. I have to puke.

I think the “failure” of PS Vita was really traumatic for PlayStation or one of the PlayStation “bosses” really takes this one personally…

I am one of those 13% 😎 and reached level 50. But won’t go for Platinum. Not a completionist.

I finished 85% of the game in difficulty normal. Now replaying it in very hard so the patch is very welcome 😎

She is a beautiful woman and not just saying it because I am Dutch. I think also she would have strongly disagreed to be sexualized and I am pretty sure that was a condition of hers for lending her face. I am happy they didn’t. Sexualization of female characters in games is the reason why many jrpgs make me uncomfortable. I am a guy and love women, but I think it ridiculous how women are often depict in games and a little pathetic as well. The more strong female lead characters in games the better!

The problem is that I am just not good enough. I tried the Dark Souls games and Bloodborne and it’s just frustrating. FromSoftware Games are the only games I can’t get trough.
