Yeah... I stayed up till 12AM EST to start it right when the timer ended.

Struggling at work today... but 100% worth it - loved what I played. cant wait to get back home.

The game is awful. Performance issue is just an extra awful on top.

Thankfully It was from my GameFly list. Went back in the mail pretty quickly.

It made sense at $59... it really makes sense at $79.

I'll stick with my Legion GO for a bit longer and see how everything turns out.

Access to my Steam collection + Having GamePass on a handheld will be a hard bar for Nintendo to beat.

But that is the great thing about the handheld market now. Before you were stuck with Nintendo hardware and hopping for the best.

Now we have tons of choices.

The world is stunning. The digital artists at Ubi went to another level on this one. Exploring every inch of it.

But I now play it via Ubi+ subscription instead of buying it.

The way PC Gaming is going. No, not a "major risk" at all.

1. Nvidia has made PC a greed hell hole. Super overpriced cards that get artificial feature cuts with each generation.

2. Windows/Drivers are still a mess.

If anything - in the last few years PC gaming has gone backwards. Just getting a console for the average gamer makes more sense than ever.

Drive would be a necessity

Only reason I still buy consoles is so I can rent and buy used games from GameFly. And give my games to my brother, cousins and nephews once I finish them.

If consoles become only digital I will go 100% PC.

I couldn't get RTX HDR to work on my PC.

Hrs of searches later I found out it was that Windows was stuck on "Windows 21H2"... and needed "22H2"

Windows update kept telling me I was up to date. Only solution was to force an update via downloading "Windows Installation Assistant" That gave me an error.

More google - I found out I needed a Mobo Bios Update and activate "F-tPM" from AMD in the bios so Microsoft would let me install "22H2"

MSI (made my Motherboard) had no auto Mobo Bios Update... had to download the Bios from MSI to a FAT formatted USB drive and update via the Bios window.

Finally got "22H2" to install... that gave me a Blue Screen.

Re-install Nvidia "560.94" Drivers fixed that.

ALL THAT... was to get HDR working on Wukong via my 4KTV (looks fine on my 4K monitor but not my 4KTV)

But now for some reason Dolby Atmos sound cuts off via my AN1000 randomly. It was working fine before.

But I actually want to play my game for a bit... fix that some other weekend.

Consoles will exist for a very long time.

Yep. Been playing it since Tuesday. Got a month of Ubi+

It definitely feels like a SW game. And the audio out of my set up is fantastic. Having fun so far.

The bike is gold... they should have canceled the card game and made racing tacks.

Already have tons of things to do on my list. This will be my game to just jump on when I am to tired after work for Wukong.

The slicing reminds me of a game my wife got me into on the NY Times app - Wordle. So even enjoying doing those.

The songs, the verses, the tapestry, the stop animation, the world, the characters... oh yeah, the "game" part is tons of fun to play also.

Art Director should do a visiting artist tour.

At $17 for Ubi+ it makes reviews for Ubi games a bit irrelevant at this point. At that price I rather just try it out for a month and see for myself if good or not.

I think I can start playing it tomorrow at some point.

yep... on the list. Combat looks good. Just need an amazing world (seems to have the art down, good start) to explore and a decent story.

Played Black Desert for a while. Opening up the world was the highlight. Always wished it was a single player/story game.

I moved it to PC once I knew it was getting FSR Frame Generation. The benchmark runs fantastic on my PC.

If they had an actual physical edition I would rent it on GameFly first like StellarBlade and then keep it if everything runs ok.

But not on Gamefly because of the coupon nonsense.

PC it is, Not risking it.

I think at this point - once your studio gets bought by one of these big tech companies it is time to to refresh your resume.

But the DLC was not what I wanted. Tons of back story and characters they could have used to really flesh out the world.

I reactivated my account and went back in this week. Clear the cobwebs before the expansion hits. I'm excited.

I have basically solo most of the game story. Duty Finder as needed. The party is what it is.

Nice you can use vouchers to help bring cost down. I buy Digital mostly on PC. I see Switch/PS5 as my physical game machines.

But I am getting those on PC. I see them as Handheld games.

Finished Hellblade 2 on Gamepass. Brilliant game. The sound stage is on another level. Really justifies the price for good headphones or 5.1 set up.

I have had funs with Ubi games that get hated on in the past... I'll play it for 30 days, take it from there.

I played a chunk on Switch and never had an issue with pacing or difficulty.

That is all I needed to know. The jaggies and shimmering on Switch were out of control. It ruined the art style for me - and that is one of the reasons I play Atlus games.

Quest 3 has no HDR or Eye tracking or Adaptive triggers on PC either. And has no PS5 support at all.

I can consolidate my PC+PS5 VR to one headset for $60... Sold. This should have been out on Day 1.

Also get to use 1 cable out of the box full of Display Port, HDMi and Ethernet cables sitting in my closet.

They need to do exactly what they are planning. At a minimum release the games on PC from Day 1.

Enjoyed all of them. The Evil Within, Evil Within 2, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and, Hi-Fi Rush.

You produce games like these and still get closed down - "sad" indeed.

Great to have it for later. Still on the main campaign - and it is just fantastic. Taking it slow, even getting the cans (I want that extra heart)

So many characters I would love some story DLC to flesh out.

Keep all the parts and just write a new story and stunning world for me to explore.
