Yeah, still having a blast with Hogwarts Legacy.

Tried Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty last night for a bit and enjoyed it. I did WeMOD the hell out of it 😅 so playing it more like an action game on "hard".

I could have replayed Metroid Prime "HD" on Dolphin at any point in the last decade. Never saw any reason to do so... a Switch rehash is not changing that.

I do still have Metroid Prime 4 on Preorder since 2018... make something new and you get my cash.

I been with NVidia GeForce Now since beta. And now use it to play games I have on the Ubi Store and Epic Store on my SteamDeck.

On that side, the more games on it the better. One more option to play away from home. Not what my PC/PS5 is for.

Yeah. I had SaveWizard on my PS4. It worked great. They still active there - just released Octopath 2 codes on PS4

Yeah, even if at the regular $10 for PC Gamepass it is worth it to try it out.

Especially if not 100% convinced on it and already blew the budget on PSVR2.

The Demo did not grab me like Nioh did. So moved it to PC GamePass - less of a risk (especially when I already blew-up my gaming budget)

Also on PC there is the potential of using WeMod to bring the game down a notch like with Returnal. If it gets codes

I'll give it a try this weekend.

Yeah, great it is on PS5 and PC on day 1 this time around.

Away again this week. PS5 taking a rest (finished GOW... fantastic game!) and setting up PSVR2 will need to wait a bit.

Hogwarts is also amazing as a handheld game. Finished One Piece Odyssey (great jRPG) on my last work trip, so it came out just in time.

Playing Hogwarts Legacy right now. Playing a jRPG at the same time is a bit to time intensive for me.

On the list, will play it down the line. Between my PC and PS5 simply swimming in games, some need to fall by the side.

Well deserved. Fun game.

So that is basically 8% of total PS5 base.

More or less the same as the sub 6-9% for PS4 in the Japanese market. Reason why Sony does not make decisions based on it.

Yeah... but on GamePass. Was not 100% sure, so glad it is an option and I gave it a try.

Doing the job as a bridge game until PSVR2 shows up and keep Hogwarts Legacy (mostly) for my commute and work trips.

I rather play 3rd person games. But I just need to be entertained, everything else are side options.

I have this sitting in my Steam account. Never play it.

Not playing the same games over because I can play it on the bus on a Switch or at 4K with new lighting on PS5... it is boring.

Yeah, and on Steam you can actually see how long someone played a game before they post their review.

I always set it to a minimum of 10hrs. And this already at "Very Positive" with that filter on.

Games, games and more games... it is a flood - love it! I just need a lot more time.

Great review, but already sold on VR years ago on PC.

It is cheaper to get a PSVR2 than upgrading my PC VR headset to anything close to these specs. This is a no brainer for me.

Hopefully down the road the PC community makes it work on Windows. One headset for PC+PS5 would be an amazing bang for the buck.

Skipped the Switch version and waited to play the first one on PC. Glad we get all versions on Day 1 this time around.

Already certified on SteamDeck. Not had a chance to test it with the Demo, but most likely stay on PC for this one.

Yeah. Next on my wish list is F1 and a New Ace Combat with story campaign VR support. Or a story driven space shooter like CHORUS

I get people want action games like ALYX/Horizon. But VR is so amazing to fully place you in a cockpit.

Not surprised... the game is tons of fun. They hit it out of the park with this one.

The PC version needs like 4hrs of playing in the castle for it to settle down. Something is happening in the background that grinds the game into a slideshow 🤷‍♂️

When I got my PC VR headset I played Dirt (and Elite Dangerous) non stop.

As a Motorsport/Automobile fan, VR is a childhood dream come true. Racing games alone makes the investment worth it for me.

Yeah... I just finished Forspoken. Good surprise and also enjoyed it, especially when I got a few magic trees open.

I also liked how there was always something on the map to do. If I was tired after work and only play for a bit or had a full afternoon - always found an activity that fit and felt I progressed.

I went from Forspoken to Hogwarts Legacy myself.

Hogwarts Legacy starts off with a bang, already loving it!

But now need to travel next week for work. So bought it again on Steam. If it runs well on my SteamDeck - moving to PC

Already finished it. But if it gets some story DLC, I would come back.

I turned world dialogue to minimum (wish some jRPG had that option) but some interaction like the "Newark" and "you sound like a serial killer" were actually funny.

I am in that number, but Last time I used mine was back in July 2022 for Xenoblade 3

Handheld for work travel was the only reason I had to keep owning Nintendo hardware. My SteamDeck now fits that role.

Sony is on fire on PC.

Not only are the high player ratings on Steam, but first Nvidia used their games to promote the RTX4000 launch on stage and now Valve is using Spider-Man to promote the Steam Deck right on the home screen of Steam.

TLOU is the perfect game to keep the momentum going.

Liked the first one. So this is on the list later on.

I know it is harder for new players but I love when the story continues in the near future in the next game.

Discovering what some characters are doing a decade later from where I left them is a motivation to play it.

PS5 install base in Japan will be the the same 8%/10% of the total base like PS4 was.

Japanese developers understand Sony is the gateway to the West regardless what their hardware sales are in japan. So they keep supporting it - that is really all that matters.

One Piece Odyssey

Mostly because it is fantastic as a SteamDeck game. Really made me not care about the time I spend travelling for work.

Only got Forspoken for PS5 this month (Rental) At last chapter, been fun.

My Fam is in that stat 😅

1. Random relative who buys a console because of a Show or Movie.

Keep saying I am happy to lend them mine for the one game, as they rarely use the thing again.

2. My Older Brother's Wife got this idea in her head that you only buy Nintendo systems for kids until they get older.

This nonsense has filtered down the Fam 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️ so now you get a bunch of kids that "graduated" to something else this generation.

Both camps end up with a PlayStation (or a videocard for their PC) because that is what everyone else has in the Fam.

Not surprised, It is all about the games.

Sony knows how to make them and builds hardware that gets amazing 3rd party support. I been swimming in games.

Every generation I always buy a PlayStation first, build from there. It always works out.
