Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! - "What a Night for a Knight" (1969) | Bruiser | Matthew Lillard |
Shaggy started off as a pretty normal dude in Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! providing comic relief alongside the titular hound. He hangs around with his mystery-solving buddies, but is more often than not scared of everything that isn't an oversized sandwich. Passive Abilities
It's, Like, Off-the-Charts: Shaggy's Raged special attacks hit harder, move further, give him Armor during the attack and apply maximum stacks of Weakened to hit enemies. Rage is consumed after a special attack.
Allies who become Enraged will apply maximum stacks of Weakened on their next melee attack, but Enraged will be consumed afterward.
Shaggy starts with a sandwich, because he's Shaggy.
How to Win as Shaggy
As a Bruiser class fighter, Shaggy is best suited to getting up close and personal with opponents. Most of his attacks are basic melee strikes in some form or another, though he does have Like, Feed the Hunger which gives him a Projectile attack if needs be.
Shaggy's unique feature is his ability to charge up a Rage state, performed by holding Neutral Triangle. It takes a couple of seconds to charge, but once you're there, his Specials all hit harder, have better range, have Armor, and apply Weakened to opponents. The Weakened status means enemies will suffer more damage and knockback when hit.
This state also benefits allies. When Raged, Shaggy will make allies Enraged, which means their next melee attack will also deal Weakened to the target.
It's in your interests, therefore, to seek opportunities to charge Rage to ensure you're dealing the most potential damage, and then dive into the action and go nuts.
