When the meter is full, Velma can call a police car. The police car will drive to and pick up the nearest enemy, disable them, and attempt to drive off the map. Enemies must struggle to escape the police car. The other enemy teammate can attack the car to try and release their teammate.

How to Win as Velma

To succeed as Velma, you're going to want to stay on the sidelines of the action as much as possible. While moves like Quip Master are competent in close-quarters combat, Velma is at her strongest peppering opponents from afar. Consider dropping Toxic Concoction into the busiest part of the arena, and then getting out of the way. You should fire Supportive Words towards your teammate or opponent, and once you have a lock-on, pepper more projectiles. Use Motivational Speaker in exactly the same way, and remember to use Spread the Knowledge to reduce your cooldowns. Coffeezilla is a good Perk to help mitigate this, too.

We'd recommend stacking Ice to Beat You as another Perk, because when paired with Toxic Concoction, this is going to really help you to disable your opponents. Remember to quickly collect evidence when it emerges, and consider using the Studied Signature Perk so that you can call your Police Car earlier in the battle. Try to freeze your opponents if possible before calling in your Police Car, and if you can trigger it close to the edge of the screen then this is helpful, as it reduces the amount of time the opponent has to escape. Remember that Bright Idea can be a great aerial finisher if you've already inflicted enough damage on one of your foes.
