Road Kings May Just Beat Truck Simulator to PS5 When It Launches in March

Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive have announced a release date for their upcoming truck sim, Road Kings.

It's been a while since we've heard about this one, announced a full year ago, but we now know when it's coming: 11th March 2027.

The above trailer doesn't reveal a whole lot about the game itself, but it teases some intense weather conditions and various trucks you'll be driving on the open road.

On paper, it sounds like your typical sim game, starting out as a rookie driver and working your way up to an owner-operator of your own haulage business.

It looks to me like the game will be a little bit more directed, maybe mission-based, than something like American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2 — both of which are also coming to PS5 in future.

At this rate, it feels as though Road Kings might beat them to the punch, but again, it may offer up a slightly different experience to the ever-popular pair of truck sims.
