Round Up: What Was Announced at The Game Awards 2025?

Excited for more yakuza goodness

So many games i liked:

• The Free Shepperd
• Badger (forgot the title)
• Fate of the Old Republic
• 4loop
• RE9
• Control Resonant!
• Gang of Dragons
• Forest 3 (This looked very interesting, but ended so abruptly without any info)
• Saros
• No Law
• Ace combat 8
• Nioh 3
• Phantom blade zero

But the highlight of the show was of course Highguard! 🙃

Highguard looks awful was hoping for half life 3 as the final reveal and we got a crappy gaas game instead 😕

Control looked like a good time. Lots of spectacle throughout the show, but it was Total War 40K and the Tomb Raiders I'm most looking forward to. I'm sure Divinity will move the cRPG goalposts when it releases.

Control Resonant is the big highlight, excited for Saros but that new trailer did nothing for me, RE9 looks sick, Tomb Raider looks amazing but still ways off, and Fate of the Old Republic is a dream that might never come true.

I was waiting for some big crazy reveal but meh. Regardless, was definitely my favourite TGA to watch.

no assassins creed announcement , i guess one of the few leaks that didn't come true. i'm guessing it will be announced soon though.

Two new Tomb Raider games that look AWESOME
Larian's new game
New D&D game
Two new Star Wars games that look promising

Bradley the Badger looks fun
Decrepit looks like King's Field kind of but probably too creepy for me, still pretty cool
New Control game is another very solid game

Follow-ups on Exodus, Phantom Blade, even Lego Batman were all really good
Pretty sure I'm forgetting something

Was a GREAT show for reveals.

That TR remake looks gorgeous.

Ace combat! Total war 40k on ps5! Those two alone make my day

How could you miss the new Lords of the Fallen 2 trailer?
I really liked the first one (the 2023 one…), looking forward to some extra gory soulslike action.

But catched up now, it seemed an ok C to D
for me.
Nothing that special.
Even RE9 doesn’t seem that exciting to me.
I prefer the action RE8 style all the way through and I think a lot of this game will be creepy run and hide rubbish and let’s be scared that I can’t stand.
I demand action and lot of it 🤣

Back to back Tomb Raider games, heck yeah!

Nowt for me. I’m waiting for Intergalactic, Horizon 3, GTAVI, Wolverine and this rumoured Motorstorm remake that’s doing the rounds online. Basically Sony quality IP’s and the obligatory GTA

@Dan12836666 That was Keighley's way of reminding us to not get used to a game on the level of Intergalactic closing out the show every year. This year ND was followed up by another Hero shooter we don't need to close the show of all times. lmao lame

@Dan12836666 Half Life 3 is never happening because no game can ever live up to this amount of expectation and hype.

I don’t like trailers without gameplay. But the trailer for Divinity is a blast. And Capcom rocks.
