Diablo 3 on PS3. Just finished the main story and started the hardcore mode with a new character. I was thinking on getting the platinum trophy but I guess it'll be the same story with Mass Effect: too lazy to finish a long game multiple times.

@Vincent294 Mafia 3 has a good story and a spectacular soundtrack but the game is repetitive and it had a lot of bugs in its first 6 months (I uploaded four of them on Youtube). Trophy hunters were cursing a lot 'cause there were at least six trophies bugged (I was one of them).
Since Hangar 13 is the one working on this Mafia Remake, I would be worried for this game.

Horizon, R&C and Deathloop, since I loved Dishonored and Prey.

If you think that Sony should banalize the trophy system so people don't feel bad about a trophy they're not skillful enough to get, so be it.

@1_W1NG3D_4NG3L You only used "should" once. So, it's about the sentence "Trophies that hard should be banned." and again, no, it shouldn't. Achievement shouldn't be a tap on our back but a reward for challenges you overcome, that required some effort from us.

@ankehuber based random trophies are silly. Based skill's are not. Makes no sense people getting platinum trophies with minimum effort. That's why they're also known as achievements, so you have to achieve something to earn them. On the other hand, I totally against platinum trophies attached to online trophies since servers don't work indefinitely.

@ankehuber I think you miss the point about trophies. What's the point if there's no challenge to earn them? Makes no sense at all not having trophies for difficult settings.

Mafia 3 is repetitive but has a good story and a excellent soundtrack. I'm definitely gonna give a try.

@TrinityJayOne there were actually six trophies bugged: "Shh, Shh",
"Family", "The New Boss", "No Loose Ends", "Baby You're A Rich Man" and "Hole in Your Pocket". Before patch 1.07, I had problem with all these trophies. I got the platinum after this patch.
By the way, I bought my copy around February 2017, four months after its release.

@TrinityJayOne I finished five times: three before the patch released mid 2017 and two after that (I think it was patch 1.07). I followed some forums to know about these trophies glitch and only after patch 1.07, people were giving positive feedback about this issue. So, I tried to finish one more time to see if the trophies would pop up and it did. So, I did another run to get the remaining trophies.
Because of this episode, I can't stand this game.

@Neolit this already happened, 6 or 8 months after its release.

I finally got the courage to start Dark Souls this week, but it's on PS3. I need to get a new PS4 to play DS3 and Sekiro (and get remaining Bloodborne trophies).

People believe the truth that suit them the best. Naughty Dog might be the big villian some are picturing, maybe not. The only thing certain in all this story is that crunch culture should be addressed and we must support the people involved in it.

@carlos82 COD uses Playstation 4 for marketing reasons but I don't remember seeing the Playstation logo in the beginning of each trailer, unless the videos were uploaded on Playstation official social media. The Xbox logo are in the video uploaded by Ubisoft.
Personally, it doesn't bother me since it's such a minor detail.

1)The ideal solution would be implementing a double platinum system: one for the offline portion of the game and another for the online one. If the servers were shutdown, you would still be able to obtain the platinum;
2) It would be way better if we could activate the trophies for each game we really like. By this, all games you quickly quit would not be registered on ours profiles;
3) There are currently four listing opitions on PSN: original, alphabetical, grade, crescent earned date and decrescent earned date. I really can't see how a custom list would work;
4) Well put;
5) By doing that, dlcs would be considered a new game and that's not the case;
6) I don't care but it wouldn't hurt;
7) There's no need since you can access the list by pressing, and holding, the PS button.

@BAMozzy You totally missed my point. The VIDEO was leaked. You have to play it to know the content since the video would never pop in front of you.
People that are spoiling the story surely watched the video with the intent of spoiling. The spoilers I read are from people that have nothing to do with support that ex-employee. They don't give a single f#%$ about crunch. They are nothing but trolls.

I am 36 years old. I have more important things to do than spoiling a Xbox game I don't care.

P.S. #1: The fact that I'm accusing Microsoft fanboys doesn't exclude the fact that I aware that Sony Fanboys exist;
P.S. #2: I believe these three people that spoiled the game for me don't respond for the rest of the Xbox community (I really hope so).

Internet is ruining game news to me. Every week there are "leaks" reported by almost every site, including here, when it should be confined only in forums. Unfortunately, everyone can create a twitter/reddit account and spread chaos, no matter how no sense the info is.
About this particular case, the guy seems biased. I don't trust him at all. I reserve my opinion about the PS5 when it's released. If PS5 really sucks, I go with Xbox or even a PC. In the meantime, I'll be playing my back catalogue.

Is it worth to play the PS3 version? How much content they added on this Royal Version?

The only thing online I usually do is to sync my trophies. Accessing the PS Store on PS3 it's a painful task and, since we can use the message app on smartphones, the message function became useless.

@LieutenantFatman I was playing Kingdom Hearts 1.5 on my PS3 until late February and I still have a considerable backlog to finish.

N64 was only about three games for me: Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and Doom 64.

People expected a E3 presentation instead of that tech show. It was interesting but it may be boring for most players.
Now, the fact that the media are pushing this "Sony is hiding something" rhetoric doesn't help at all.

@GKO900 it's really interesting how you jumped to conclusions with not many info revealed so far.

I think people should manage better what will be installed on their console. The PS4 hard drive was more than enough for me. I always installed what I was planning to play in a short term and deleted the games as soon as I was done with them. Playing less games simultaneously helps a lot.

It would be awesome to everyone but that would cost a lot of money.

@FullbringIchigo The last Borderlands dlc, called "Claptrap's New Robot Revolution". There are four trophies, "The Lubrificator", "Bobble-trap", "It's so realistic" and "What a party!" that you need to collect random items. I remember finishing the dlc around ten times and I couldn't find get them all. Fortunately, it wasn't a requirement for the platinum.

@FullbringIchigo I didn't say that either. What I said was that My Name Is Mayo is not a game since it doesn't require any effort, mentally and physically speaking. For me, games are about challenges (I'm not only talking about video-games but in general). Pressing a single button a million times is not even close to it.

About the shaming thing, the trophy system is failed. Trophies should be about rewarding tasks achieved (completing missions, for example) and measuring skills (finishing on very hard, for example). It makes no sense creating trophies for random things like the trophy on one of the first Borderlands dlc.

@FullbringIchigo Even Ratalaika games, that are known for their extremely easy platinum trophies, requires a minimum effort to do it. My Name Is Mayo requires zero effort. That thing is a damn counter.

@IonMagus first of all, a samurai can't be a ghost because of the Bushido.
The main character is a samurai until the Mongol invasion. He left the path after that. Even the first trailer indicates that, at the end of the trailer to be more accurate, when part of his armor fades while he wears a mask. Also, I never heard of samurais that use smoke bombs.

I got it right about the main character: he's a samurai that becomes a ninja after the massacre of his people.

Not a bad idea but this is something that would cost a lot of coins. Besides, Resident Evil 3 must be at least 2 years old so Capcom would think about that.

People should stop supporting companies that implement bs schemes on their games, like this one.

@sketchturner Sony could have used Vita as their indie plataform but it seems that they can't handle two things at once.

Mafia 3 has a good story but it's too damn repetitive and it had lots of glitches during its first 6 months.

Since I still own a PS3, I'll be using for the PS5 games and PS4 games I missed since I sold my PS4.

I think I'm gonna stop accessing gaming news for a while because I'm kind of sick of all those rumors and predictions.

@SirRealDeal If it's real, they would have to add the legacy catalogue to PS Store. I think not running the discs is not a opition for Sony..
@WanderingBullet every Sony console, besides PS4, runs PS1 games and I believe PS4 could easily run PS1 games if Sony weren't so lazy.

If PS5 runs its games smoothly, who cares if it isn't the most powerful.

All these delays reassure me the importance of not focusing in new releases' hype. There're plenty of released games that I didn't play yet. It'll be cheaper and it'll give me time to get those new ones when their price drop.

My impression is that E3 might be still relevant because of tradition. It's part of game history as the most important event every year, so it's totally a controversial topic this whole skipping thing.
Sony is doing for a reason. If they're doing the right move, time will tell but, communication and networking evolved so much since 95 and there're other ways to engage your audience.
I really don't care how or where they're going to reveal. I'm curious about WHAT they're going to show us.

My top 5 are:
1) Cyberpunk 2077;
2) Ghost of Tsushima;
3) The Last of Us Part 2;
4) Final Fantasy VII;
5) Dying Light 2.
I really loved the first The Last of Us but it's hard to beat a cyberpunk RPG and a Ninja/Samurai games.

Such a waste of time.
