A fresh look at HBO's TV adaptation of The Last of Us has appeared in a new sizzle reel focusing on upcoming projects from the company. Roughly 20 seconds of brand new footage can be viewed, including a glimpse of Nick Offerman's Bill, fungus spores taking over a wall, and Pedro Pascal's take on Joel's voice. Also part of the video is Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon, The Idol, and Succession.

In response to the new footage, Neil Druckmann — who has worked on the TV show — posted to Twitter: "You ain't seen nothing yet."

This is the first official look at the show we've received since a single shot of Joel and Ellie looking at plane wreckage was posted back in September 2021. A number of set leaks have kept us updated since then, however. The TV adaptation is set to launch on HBO Max next year, but we're only a few weeks away from PS5 remake The Last of Us: Part I allowing us to experience that first tale all over again. A few of the game's bonus costumes leaked overnight.
