@Kevw2006 well that's just your opinion bro lol. it's WAY more memorable and interesting to me already than the first game for real. even the side quests are memorable for me and some of the best if not the best i've seen in a open world game. they all offer something whether more lore, character development, new weapons etc. every little feels like a fetch quest and fleshes out the world more.
I can see how they struggle because I struggled with the first game but tell them to keep going it gets good then the sequel is even better. better characters etc
@Sakai considering it's only one point behind zero dawn on metacritic you're objectively wrong lol. it should be higher...somebody else already mentioned it here but zero dawn had it's moments but definitely didn't get good until a certain point. haven't seen anybody mention it in reviews.
@Sil_Am facts i'm in the same boat...these critics have lost touch with what fans love. the story is great from the beginning and still engaged many hours later in it. really interesting stuff for real...can't wait to continue.
very interesting take. love sony's story driven games as well. i'm curious to what you mean that god of war broke new ground in terms of world. it's semi open world and horizon is full open world which is the only difference in world terms. hell I love uncharted but it's not open world at all. also have you played a ubisoft/Ac game? every sequel is more of the same but refined and better...no need to reinvent the wheel. what did you find unique about bloodborne? wdym by non reaction? agreed one of the things I love about horizon is the adventure and exploring. I love ghost of tsushima as well and still don't get why people say that's like ubisoft as well as horizon. I get what you're saying as something drastic as returnal and death stranding but those tend to be less popular but they still have variety for sure.
@Impossibilium "It seems like a more specific version of the phobia, where I mostly just fear large, threatening creatures underwater." that's what i'm speculating why they are adding this setting for burning shores. should be interesting for sure
@TheDudeElDuderino nah bro...no matter how you try to put it...the character you are controlling is still you and still make you feel like you're there. I hate first person games and they make me feel nothing but nauseous as opposed to that. you need to get a grip and learn there's different perspectives for everybody
@Nepp67 come on dude. there's such a thing as immersion and immersion when you really into it could be so powerful it can make you feel like you're there. I don't have a fear of water(actually find it super cool) but I do of heights and a certain ride inside of forbidden west makes me feel like i'm actually high up and I get the same feeling I would in real life.
@KaijuKaiser they would like you to think you're in the minority but you're not trust me. i've seen plenty of people that said they lost interest in elden ring after a while as well.
@TurboTom you should play the dlc of zero dawn then forbidden west. they literally improved on everything and it's very interesting and high quality in comparison.
@kyleforrester87 that's literally any game ever...I don't have to look far for people being critical of gow or especially elden ring either. it is what it is...obviously the vast majority loved it and there's an abundance of evidence everywhere.
@Deoxyr1bose I just knew there was gonna be a couple of people in the comments downplaying horizon haha. so predictable. anyway if you clearly can't see that horizon is widely popular and acclaimed by critics and fans alike...then you seriously have been living a tiny bubble. there's no other game that you can say you can fight robo creatures with a bow in arrow in a post post apocalyptic world...stop the cap it's more unique than most if not all the games you play or like.
@ItsBritneyB_tch yea it doesn't really make sense to me lol but i'll come back and talk you about it after I finish the game if you want. nothing about the horizon series has been dark or gritty really. that's not how I would describe it at all.
@somnambulance
if you loved the first game there should be no concern about the second one considering it improves on literally everything. I can tell you with uttermost confidence it's far from a mixed bag. most games wish they had the user score and an 88 as a critic score. @Casco this is 100 percent voted by the fans and horizon is second place...no amount of saying no way this is joke or calling bias is gonna change that.
@PlayStationGamer3919 just because a couple of people find it a disappointment doesn't mean it is. they had high expectations going in and that's what made them be disappointed. happens for anything and people never learn. give it a chance imo it's way better than the first game.
@nessisonett elden ring does nothing new but throw you into an open world knowing nothing but that doesn't change the fact that it's not innovative. it's open world dark souls 4 but they tell you nothing.
@WolfyTn like if that's what some people are so hung up about the first game's story? like it was good but this is the sequel...obviously we ain't gonna learn about the world for the first time but this is a great natural progression. I don't get it...the only thing that was a shock was how the world came to be.
i'm in the middle of it but I am definitely enjoying this story alot...more than the first game which I believe in execution hasn't aged well but it still good.
@ItsBritneyB_tch ok so i'm about halfway through it i think and I can see how people get smarter because they are at a place learning more and more from their focus and gaia. if you mean certain future people flying...then is that really far fetched honestly? I mean they have tech that's way into the future. i'm guessing so without spoilers let me know if i'm right. can't see why you think the dialogue is horrible lol

@BeerIsAwesome
ah I see.
you don't think the character looks really realistic or are you saying it's realistic but not uncanny valley?
no problem thanks for clearing it up.

@BrunnoGio what does that have to do with anything. who cares if it's exclusive
Re: Game of the Year: Push Square Readers' Top 10 PS5, PS4 Games of 2022
@Pat_trick your logic would have some ground to stand if elden ring was not available on playstation also

@WallyWest yes
