@truerbluer that's the worst metaphor for something i've ever heard lol. story tells you what you're doing, why and how. it brings the game worlds to life with grounded characters etc that makes games feel real. it's arguable right behind gameplay in importance...not far behind. nintendo is appealing to a casual and younger crowd. different goals and a fleshed out story wouldn't fit.

I'd say ghost still has 1-2 years more before it comes to pc. hope they release a gravity rush patch for ps5 to run at 60fps soon. especially with it being on the service

you mean having great stories and gameplay? keep that template coming...I never get tired of it. you need to stop having such high expectations for sequels to reinvent the wheel. no game is perfect but these games are great and I have no doubt they'll always find a way to spice things up.

I disagree. they've clearly stepped it up in numerous ways in forbidden west. I saw that in the state of play. I just don't get what you expect or want lol...they literally took all the complaints about the first game and improved on everything I and alot of other people wanted.

@BoldAndBrash I played arkham knight...let's be honest. it's not that impressive, detailed(maybe if I could see anything I would change my mind), gameplay is button mashy...I was literally just button mashing and doing just fine. I press square...batman does a flip, punch, backflip into a sommersalt lol. it feels automatic. also batmanmobile was overused to extreme. too much. it's not like every building is crumbing down if you try to go through it with the batmobile. just a little damage on certain buildings at the edge. not very impressive ngl. most ps exclusives aren't linear lol. naughty dog games and that's it. but does it really matter? not every game needs to be open world and they are open enough that I can't complain. most if not all of them have great presentation. physics? lol yes because The bat mobile is supposed be very bouncy like a rubber ball. what are you talking about in spiderman?

I see this as them not being satisfied until the game is obsoletely perfect and there a zero bugs. would there had been as much problems if it wasn't for the pandemic and everybody working from home. definitely not but it's not like it's a straight up broken game like you're making it out to be.

what does forests have to do with anything lol. a forest is a forest on earth. no need to reinvent the wheel. there's more than just forests in horizon...maybe you should play more so you can see that lol. sounds like you didn't get pass the tutorial. also name another game that looks beautiful in post apocalypse and not bleak and dark.

it is if you really look at it. especially the tribe locations etc. it's an unique as you would expect earth to be a thousand years into the future. but it's way more realized than any game i've ever seen and way more beautiful. meh...ghostwire is just empty tokyo. I don't see anything original about that. not saying that's a bad thing though as I don't think a game needs to be in a unique never before seen location all the time to be great. that's for you...i've seen it with my own eyes so you can't convince me that's not more unique than just plain tokyo. they do nothing new...it's just a location you haven't seen alot in games.

it's ok. literally every game borrows from one another. nothing is completely original but you can't say you've seen alot(any really) of games that have robo animal kingdom that you fight with a bow and arrow. no need to reinvent the wheel. I think some people's thing is that they think something has to be unique to be good when the majority of stuff that i've watched or played (and I assume you too) is not unique in the slightest. and we still think it's great. it's just like who really cares lol.

I enjoy all facets of gaming. indie, aaa, story driven, you name it. sometimes I come back to a game that I don't think is right for me at the time when i'm tired of the genre and play something else then come back and enjoy it way more. sometimes you're just not in the mood for a certain game but it doesn't mean it's bad. everything i've seen and heard screams horizon is something special. @XOF I mean depends on where you're at and what topics you follow because i haven't see alot of people talk about it besides a small gaming bubble on twitter where we know that it doesn't represent the majority of all at all. everywhere else few reviews here and there but not really. happy for fromsoft but I agree. i've heard alot of souls veterans say that...if you've played all the other games or have seen it...it's not that different. people try to say it's the fully unique thing but it's dark souls 4 but open world lol. yea I saw the animations were the same...I don't mind it but it's irritating when people say it's unique and refuse to see that. all I see the open world does different is it tells you nothing lol unless i'm missing something.
