Yes it does seem like a great remake on the ps5,I've played the ps3 and ps4 remaster ,so while I sit on the fence for a little while with whether I buy this or not, only because of the 70 quid price tag ,although to be fair on Shopto.net it's just under 60 but with postage and packing it'll send it up to nearly 70 anyway, and as a lot of other gamers have said, defo worth it if you've not played it before or possibly wait for price drop etc if you have played it already,I can see that using ps5 haptics ,3d sound, faster loading etc etc would make this remake seem worth it,I'll wait alittle longer for price drop ,having said that apart of me is tempted to pick this up quick quickly as gaming tech does move fast and for alot of gamers who have already played this remake may be wondering if they could ever go back to play ps3,ps4 versions ever again ,I have yet to find out and I may be missing out on a quite an amazing remake decisions decisions lol
Ummm ,the last of us is a fantastic game in my opinion but I'll wait until reviews drop by Friday as to whether its worth buying again,I'm very jubious about this ps5 version only really because it's been on 2 different gens of consoles ,I have bought lou on ps3 and ps4 remaster ,I thought ps4 remaster was absolutely worth buying for resolution ,smoother gameplay, now we could see the ps5 version being worth buying again actually ,I'm certainly watching with interest because we certainly could see the ps5 version being absolutely great against all expectations ,like many others have said price is sticking point but some websites have it at just under 60 quid ,still alot money for what is essentially the same game,if the a.i is much better than the original which I suppose it will be and obviously graphics etc will be a big improvement then I'm really hoping this ps5 version is fantastic and all my concerns can be put aside,it's really made for a huge debate on here and given the remake loads of attention, 3 days away from finding out,but and rightly so many people will buy it and loads people won't.i just really hope its better than what I'm thinking it will be
Probably some yakuza like a dragon ,I'm less than 2 hrs into this so far but really enjoying it ,I hadn't played any of the series before and is taking me by surprise ,just goes to show don't judge a book by its cover as you never know what you will enjoy and maybe abit of gt7 as well but not to much gaming this weekend as weather is to gd so will be spending a gd deal of time outside on my bike with some food and drink to go
Especially looking forward to playing yakuza like a dragon as I've not played any of the series but read plenty of great reviews of it ,sds very interesting as I've not played an jrpg before,so thank-you sony for another great month
I have absolutely no idea why games company's etc etc are at all surprised by a drop in playing time ,especially after the last 2 yrs, video games are for me personally a fantastic past time but like so many other players as well and myself Included have a load of interests outside of gaming and wonderful to do other things for a change
This was inevitable really especially after lockdowns ended and the engagement time would naturally be less for gaming ,sony,Microsoft, nintendo etc etc all pretty much made a packet out of covid so they surely can't be surprised that people want to do other things for a change ha ha anyway I'm still using my ps5 quite abit not as much as during lockdown though but when autumn and winter kick back in and games start rolling again ,the engagement will be back
Yes I buy physical games ,I love the fact you can trade in games after if you like and something back or towards something else,I just also think buying physical gives it soul and real tradition ,for me there's something special about getting up to change a disc and so on and so forth and makes you less lazy lol ,love the shelf full of cases and covers and some games with maps etc rdr2 for example, there's big market for digital and its great to have choice but I really enjoy physical stuff anyway ,books for reading etc etc,and really enjoy the going to a shop to pick up games ,always enjoyed that sort of thing
My goty so far ,a fantastic game ,yes there is still a few issues etc,2 of them being in custom races where on the rolling start option where you can change the gap between cars before the start ,you currently can't go more than 15 metres and the other 1 is if you do a custom race with choosing yr own tuned cars for the whole grid and you choose sport or race tyres ,then only yr car Has those tyres on with rest of grid defaults back onto comfort tyres as far as I've tested anyway but no big deal ,it'll get sorted ,and well done to kaz and the team for more great content next wk , amazing game on ps5
It'll be interesting come the 2nd Sept whether or not it'll be worth 70 quid ,reviews I would have thought beforehand will say quite abit about any changes and if so ,will they be enough to warrant another outlay on a great remaster on the ps4 ,I would have thought that surely the mechanics etc would have to be redone and not just graphically better to make the price in most gamers eyes worth another buy ,I'll be quite shocked if there's no changes apart from graphics ,not long to find out ,I myself will sit on the fence and get splinters lol,to wait for reviews to drop before deciding whether to buy quite quickly after the 2nd or wait nearer Xmas, here's hoping this will be a great remake though
I just think that the drakes original trilogy would've made more sense at 70quid ,I could much more justify the price then ,but we'll see ,its gonna have to be pretty damn great to justify the price ,I love part 1 and 2 but of course passionate gamers are going to be discussing this from now until launch on the 2nd Sept and why not ,it'll be very Interesting to see how this remake pans put on the ps5 ,it has potential to be fantastic I have no doubts ,just that we won't know really until Sept, but some of us are rightly spectical and it's normal to be as game remaster on ps4 is very gd if abit old with game mechanics etc,all will be revealed
@col_mccafferty,yr right gaming is fantastic fun ,a wonderful hobby even though it can be an expensive hobby if you want it to be but yes at the end of the day if you don't like a game whether it be ,an original ip, a remake or remaster etc etc ,then you simply don't buy it ,or you buy it later down the line when prices have reduced a little,I may buy lou ps5 but probably ask for it as a great Xmas present instead all gd though ,I don't think we've generally ever had it so good as gaming is these days despite nothing is ever perfect and perfection is in the eye of the beholder:)
I'd have personally preferred to have had the original drakes trilogy redone on ps5 as lou has been done 2-3 times already ,that's the only thing that bothers me really unless of course there's something we don't know yet ,I'm not having a dig at nd as they have made some absolutely fantastic games but just get a sense of de ja vu ,I really hope we as gamers are left with big smiles on our faces come the 2nd Sept.as I have no idea how game development works so great that nd are doing it anyway and fingers crossed it'll be ,fantastic remake as we can't change it
Ummm come the 2nd September it'll be really interesting how lou on ps5 turns out,we will probably hear more news about it between now and then, what will be of interest as other people have mentioned is whether its worth full 70quid or not ,personally I was hoping it would be more like 40-50 quid mind you that might be a gamers perspective on price certainly mine anyway but if then there's been loads and loads of fantastic work put into lou ps5 as no doubt there has I'll just be really pleased if there's something new in the game not in the older versions that really warrant the 70 pound price, although I'll reserve judgement on it until more is known nearer the 2nd Sept, if its very very simular to lou part2 in mechanics ,movement and obviously a big graphical over hall ,then I can really see the ps5 version being very very good with gd dualsense support, faster loading etc etc but proof will be in the pudding for certain, I really hope it's worth 70 pounds as if that's the case then we have a great remake on our hands ,it'll be very interesting
Really pleased with this news that E3 coning back next year and there's certainly more than enough going on in the gaming world to be a huge success again ,I personally would love to go as I've never been to one and even if sony etc don't bother with it ,I still think it'll be fantastic after the last 2 bad years and bringing passionate ,gamers back together for a big few days event
Yes that's great gaming news ,another big one before end of 2022 and this year has been awesome to be a playstation gamer only 4 months away wonderful stuff:)
I think like many here is that gowr will be absolutely stunning when it's released ,I personally have to much backlog to think when this is released hopefully its out this year but if its next year then I have ,to much to get on with anyway,as for team abuse not good obviously but hope the team behind gowr can get it finished properly to their standards in their time all the best to the
Thefourfoldroot1,yes I completely get that vr would make going back to normal tv gaming seem mundane in comparison,it's the sense of actually being there that I'm blown away by, re7 in vr is fantastic and panic stations sets in when being chased by that madman around the house ,amazing stuff
Thefourfoldroot1,Yes having thought about it you maybe right on £400+ actually, goodness me it's gonna be very special,I still absolutely love just normal TV games with all that we have available to us but psvr2 will blow everything out of the water I feel ,what a wonderful time to be a gamer:)
Seriously looking forward to psvr2 ,I've got the psvr and I still think the tech is incredible ,bit fuzzy reso wise but the sense of place is something else ,I think psvr2 will be a game changer (excuse the pun),and will be pre ordering as soon as its available to ,price wise I'd have a guess at £350
A good monthly line up ,I haven't tried any of them before so I'll probably give all 3 a go,man of medan sds interesting as I've played until dawn and quite enjoyed it so this is the one I'm most looking forward to this month I think 🙂
Probably more of the fantastic gt7 ,as we get a new brilliant circuit this wk with watkins glen and other add ons to the game ,maybe if I get time some more of the incredible red dead redemption 2 I personally think its the best game I've ever played , but I haven't played elden ring and other games that are said to be right up there so it's all good though ,happy gaming everyone
A great update for gt7 and I've bee n playing far to much of this wonderful game ,I have to force myself away sometimes ,you know something Is great when you get addicted lol, brilliant to have Watkins Glen, 3 new cars and 3 more menus ,fantastic stuff, and yes I personally would also love to have some more modern hot hatches at some point as well but as hot hatches are my favourite car sector as I used to own an fk2 type r Honda civic and its was sublime , but the content in the game is amazing personally speaking and this wks 3 daily races are really really great fun some tuning different cars to tune so many different tunes to try out and the fuel and tyre multipliers adds so much more strategy, and so very much enjoy all single player content as well just great so much to do ,my game of the year so far
Really love lou1 and part2,though unless there's some sort of big upgrade to the ps4 remaster which I have already and I have part 2 then I certainly won't be buying it at launch and I'll get it further on down the road when it's ,bit cheaper.i get that the workers need something to work on in the interim between projects great that they are using new hardware to produce a game even though its a remaster etc, but for me at least I've got to see something in this new one that means I possibly can't not buy it day 1,you never know perhaps it'll be fantastic with dualsense controls adding to experience + 3d audio etc ,and yes I could be left eating my words here when it's released and realise that I need it ,who knows it may be amazing on ps5 and its certainly got the tech to be brilliant even if its been out twice before,it'll be very interesting as we get nearer to launch on 2nd Sept as to what it's really like ,here's hoping it'll be something special,we will see
Sds interesting, loved both games for slightly different reasons and if ,the ps5 version of lou1 is upto what gamers expect of a remake, then it will still sell very well I think ,I'll might buy it if the gameplay is upto or better than lou2 ,but we will have to see how it all pans out ,I have a sneaky feeling it'll be very very good
That's fantastic to hear that ps5 stock has improved quite abit and that more people that really want one have more chance of buying one,I got lucky and had mine since launch and haven't looked back, the ssd has made a huge difference to how more enjoyable gaming had become ,nothing is ever perfect but loading times with gt7 are 3 or 4 seconds compared to probably 30 to 40 seconds on ps4 for example and we still early on with this gen but the dualsense as well ,the quietness of the fan ,I loved my ps4 pro it was absolutely great backed up with fantastic games but the ps5 is on another planet and we haven't really seen what it's truly capable of as yet a truly wonderful console in my opinion and hope everybody that wants one gets one
Yes I may get sniper elite 4 first on disk for ps5 as last one I played was elite 3 really enjoyed it but even gd while since played an elite game so I'll get 4 first go through that campaign then buy 5 ,great news it's doing well on first few days on sale, the invasion mode sds interesting and great that gt7 ,hzdfw doing well again for sales in line with more ps5 stock ,gt7 is my game of the year so far but I haven't played the other heavy hitters yet so all to play for
Yes I'm all good with ps+ ,I find the added games every month a bonus ,I dont try all of them but every now and again there's a game that's pretty appealing and yes happy with what Sony are doing with revamp of tiers etc ,I'll probably stay as I am on lower tier ,but all good as far as I'm concerned can't complain:)
Yes 2025 seems lot more likely for a ps5 pro,if there's to be one, think its to early on before that as stock shortages etc ,once we get the option for people to go into shop and pick one from the shelf ,then it's a possibility ,but that could well be another 18 months before that's possible ,although having said that here in the uk ps5 stock has picked up for availability ,more often lately but that's only 1 country so sony simply can't make them quick enough with chip shortage not helping ,mind you anything is possible ,but ps5 pro very likely If there is to be one a gd while away yet
I must admit I wasn't expecting to much from unchartered the movie ,but was pleasantly surprised.the games of course are fantastic and I went to watch movie not really thinking that it would be genre breaking or anything like that and you certainly could make a good argument for not having holland as drake and Wahlberg as sully as at the start i thought ummm not really sure bout these two as their characters but I personally thought they grew into their roles better as film went on and woman who played chloe was good from the start anyway I really enjoyed the film and really hoping they do another one ,also not at all surprised it's been a success ,I'm very pleased it has ,great movie to kick back to and just enjoy the adventure
More of the simply sublime gt7 on ps5 and another rerun of resident evil 4 on ps2 what an absolute classic ,also some rdr2 another masterpiece happy weekend to everyone
Yeah I have death stranding with upgrade on ps5 ,played abit of It but not that much of it yet but it does seem weirdly compelling, I think I will give it a longer run through at some stage ,if there's a sequel then good on them, and it is ,great with gaming that some games you certainly need to play for much longer to get the addiction effect ,but feels so different to any other game I've played, typical kojima really ,and good on him and sony for taking chances with new ips ,that's what I love about the playstation
Yes a steady and increasing transition to ps5 from ps4/pro,I'll admit I'm biased as I've been lucky enough to get a ps5 ,but totally get the idea of releasing cross gen games for a little while longer as if I was still on ps4/pro I'd certainly be saying no you can't ditch last gen yet ,so I understand that because ps5 is still hard to get hold of,and yeah if upcoming games run fine on ps4/pro then I suppose release on both gens but if its proving to be challenging on old hardware ,then ps5 only ,I'm not hugely bothered at the mo either way as I have abit backlog anyway ,so it'll be ps5 only I'd say 12 months from now at a guess
Yes I was very lucky to get a ps5 on launch day ,I'd pre ordered 1 right after launch stream but only because I didn't fall asleep, I thought ill check but not expecting ,anything as they had said pre orders will be later on but I got very lucky, its absolutely worth every penny In my eyes,I certainly couldn't go back to ps4 pro that I had even though that was fantastic , just from super fast load times on gt7 etc let alone the other advantages ,super impressed and games are only gonna get better from here on In happy days and best luck to people still trying to get 1
Personally I'm very happy with fifa 22 ,tribes of midgard and curse of the dead gods, really didn't expect fifa 22 on ps plus at all, have downloaded fifa 22 and will get stuck into it over next few days,I don't ever expect major titles on ps plus so great times to be a gamer

Re: The Last of Us: Part I (PS5) - A Better, More Beautiful Remake of a Modern Classic

Ummm ,the last of us is a fantastic game in my opinion but I'll wait until reviews drop by Friday as to whether its worth buying again,I'm very jubious about this ps5 version only really because it's been on 2 different gens of consoles ,I have bought lou on ps3 and ps4 remaster ,I thought ps4 remaster was absolutely worth buying for resolution ,smoother gameplay, now we could see the ps5 version being worth buying again actually ,I'm certainly watching with interest because we certainly could see the ps5 version being absolutely great against all expectations ,like many others have said price is sticking point but some websites have it at just under 60 quid ,still alot money for what is essentially the same game,if the a.i is much better than the original which I suppose it will be and obviously graphics etc will be a big improvement then I'm really hoping this ps5 version is fantastic and all my concerns can be put aside,it's really made for a huge debate on here and given the remake loads of attention, 3 days away from finding out,but and rightly so many people will buy it and loads people won't.i just really hope its better than what I'm thinking it will be
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 438
Probably some yakuza like a dragon ,I'm less than 2 hrs into this so far but really enjoying it ,I hadn't played any of the series before and is taking me by surprise ,just goes to show don't judge a book by its cover as you never know what you will enjoy and maybe abit of gt7 as well but not to much gaming this weekend as weather is to gd so will be spending a gd deal of time outside on my bike with some food and drink to go
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Essential Games for August 2022?
Especially looking forward to playing yakuza like a dragon as I've not played any of the series but read plenty of great reviews of it ,sds very interesting as I've not played an jrpg before,so thank-you sony for another great month
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Essential Games for August 2022?
Yes very pleased with this month 3 games ,I haven't played any of them so will add them to library and go from there.
Re: Sony's Not the Only One Struggling to Hold PS5, PS4 Players' Attention
I have absolutely no idea why games company's etc etc are at all surprised by a drop in playing time ,especially after the last 2 yrs, video games are for me personally a fantastic past time but like so many other players as well and myself Included have a load of interests outside of gaming and wonderful to do other things for a change
Re: Sony to Take Action as PS5, PS4 Owners Play Less Than Anticipated
This was inevitable really especially after lockdowns ended and the engagement time would naturally be less for gaming ,sony,Microsoft, nintendo etc etc all pretty much made a packet out of covid so they surely can't be surprised that people want to do other things for a change ha ha anyway I'm still using my ps5 quite abit not as much as during lockdown though but when autumn and winter kick back in and games start rolling again ,the engagement will be back
Re: Nearly 80% of All PS5, PS4 Games Are Bought Digitally
Yes I buy physical games ,I love the fact you can trade in games after if you like and something back or towards something else,I just also think buying physical gives it soul and real tradition ,for me there's something special about getting up to change a disc and so on and so forth and makes you less lazy lol ,love the shelf full of cases and covers and some games with maps etc rdr2 for example, there's big market for digital and its great to have choice but I really enjoy physical stuff anyway ,books for reading etc etc,and really enjoy the going to a shop to pick up games ,always enjoyed that sort of thing
Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 14
11/15 I had a gd run this time but I few guesses as well along the way ,but its all gd fun
Re: Next Gran Turismo 7 PS5, PS4 Update Teased for Next Week
My goty so far ,a fantastic game ,yes there is still a few issues etc,2 of them being in custom races where on the rolling start option where you can change the gap between cars before the start ,you currently can't go more than 15 metres and the other 1 is if you do a custom race with choosing yr own tuned cars for the whole grid and you choose sport or race tyres ,then only yr car Has those tyres on with rest of grid defaults back onto comfort tyres as far as I've tested anyway but no big deal ,it'll get sorted ,and well done to kaz and the team for more great content next wk , amazing game on ps5

I am optimistic that lou1 ps5 turns out brilliant but also have a nagging doubt in my mind after this reveal
Re: Reaction: WTF Is Going on with The Last of Us PS5?
Re: Poll: Is The Last of Us: Part 1 Really a 'Cash Grab'?
My opinion on a cash grab would probably be no but calling it a cash grab is abit subjective I feel.
Re: Poll: Is The Last of Us: Part 1 Really a 'Cash Grab'?

Re: The Last of Us PS5 Remake Is Meticulously Built and Crafted, Not a Cash Grab
@darkknightmare ,yes yr right once before has it been done for ps4 ,and brilliantly done as well it was, let's hope the ps5 version is stellar
Re: The Last of Us PS5 Remake Is Meticulously Built and Crafted, Not a Cash Grab

8/15 some guesses amongst them and some I knew already ,overall not to bad though
Re: E3 2023 Returns with the Promise of Titanic AAA Reveals and Earth-Shaking World Premieres
Re: God of War Ragnarok Release Date Confirmed for 9th November
Yes that's great gaming news ,another big one before end of 2022 and this year has been awesome to be a playstation gamer only 4 months away wonderful stuff:)

Re: PS Plus Essential PS5, PS4 Games for July 2022 Announced
A good monthly line up ,I haven't tried any of them before so I'll probably give all 3 a go,man of medan sds interesting as I've played until dawn and quite enjoyed it so this is the one I'm most looking forward to this month I think 🙂
Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 12
I got a measly 5/15 but not a total disaster its better than getting 0 lol
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 432

Sds interesting, loved both games for slightly different reasons and if ,the ps5 version of lou1 is upto what gamers expect of a remake, then it will still sell very well I think ,I'll might buy it if the gameplay is upto or better than lou2 ,but we will have to see how it all pans out ,I have a sneaky feeling it'll be very very good
Re: PS5 Stock Levels Improving in the UK as Sales Jump by 10%
That's fantastic to hear that ps5 stock has improved quite abit and that more people that really want one have more chance of buying one,I got lucky and had mine since launch and haven't looked back, the ssd has made a huge difference to how more enjoyable gaming had become ,nothing is ever perfect but loading times with gt7 are 3 or 4 seconds compared to probably 30 to 40 seconds on ps4 for example and we still early on with this gen but the dualsense as well ,the quietness of the fan ,I loved my ps4 pro it was absolutely great backed up with fantastic games but the ps5 is on another planet and we haven't really seen what it's truly capable of as yet a truly wonderful console in my opinion and hope everybody that wants one gets one
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 429
More of the fantastic gt7,rdr2 and some fifa 22 ,it's great to have got fifa 22 on ps plus, happy gaming all:)
Re: UK Sales Charts: 92% of Sniper Elite 5 Sales Are on PS5, PS4
Yes I may get sniper elite 4 first on disk for ps5 as last one I played was elite 3 really enjoyed it but even gd while since played an elite game so I'll get 4 first go through that campaign then buy 5 ,great news it's doing well on first few days on sale, the invasion mode sds interesting and great that gt7 ,hzdfw doing well again for sales in line with more ps5 stock ,gt7 is my game of the year so far but I haven't played the other heavy hitters yet so all to play for
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 428
Some gt7 ,f1 2021,rdr2 and some snooker 19 career mode ,have a great weekend everyone happy gaming
Re: 72% of PS Plus Subscribers Satisfied with Service, Says Sony
Yes I'm all good with ps+ ,I find the added games every month a bonus ,I dont try all of them but every now and again there's a game that's pretty appealing and yes happy with what Sony are doing with revamp of tiers etc ,I'll probably stay as I am on lower tier ,but all good as far as I'm concerned can't complain:)
Re: PS5 Pro Touted for 2023 by TV Company, But Seems Highly Unlikely
Yes 2025 seems lot more likely for a ps5 pro,if there's to be one, think its to early on before that as stock shortages etc ,once we get the option for people to go into shop and pick one from the shelf ,then it's a possibility ,but that could well be another 18 months before that's possible ,although having said that here in the uk ps5 stock has picked up for availability ,more often lately but that's only 1 country so sony simply can't make them quick enough with chip shortage not helping ,mind you anything is possible ,but ps5 pro very likely If there is to be one a gd while away yet
Re: Uncharted Movie Crosses $400 Million Milestone

Re: Death Stranding 2 Just Got Outed by Norman Reedus
Yeah I have death stranding with upgrade on ps5 ,played abit of It but not that much of it yet but it does seem weirdly compelling, I think I will give it a longer run through at some stage ,if there's a sequel then good on them, and it is ,great with gaming that some games you certainly need to play for much longer to get the addiction effect ,but feels so different to any other game I've played, typical kojima really ,and good on him and sony for taking chances with new ips ,that's what I love about the playstation
Re: Video: Is It Time To Leave Last-Gen Behind?
But certainly ps5 only the quicker the better
Re: Video: Is It Time To Leave Last-Gen Behind?
Re: 19.3 Million PS5 Consoles Have Been Shipped So Far
Yes I was very lucky to get a ps5 on launch day ,I'd pre ordered 1 right after launch stream but only because I didn't fall asleep, I thought ill check but not expecting ,anything as they had said pre orders will be later on but I got very lucky, its absolutely worth every penny In my eyes,I certainly couldn't go back to ps4 pro that I had even though that was fantastic , just from super fast load times on gt7 etc let alone the other advantages ,super impressed and games are only gonna get better from here on In happy days and best luck to people still trying to get 1

Re: PS Plus PS5, PS4 Games for May 2022 Available Now
Personally I'm very happy with fifa 22 ,tribes of midgard and curse of the dead gods, really didn't expect fifa 22 on ps plus at all, have downloaded fifa 22 and will get stuck into it over next few days,I don't ever expect major titles on ps plus so great times to be a gamer
