Is the witcher 3 ps5 getting a physical release does anyone know as I don't have ps4 version?,or is it just digital version?

Terrible wk 3/15 and most were guesses ,a very bad wk for guesswork as well ,here's hoping next one is better lol

I haven't tried any of the mass effect trilogy ,would have done though if I'd not always been side tracked ha ha,but now fantastic news on essential this month and will defo get into mass effect ,a fab month just with mass effect trilogy ,let alone the other two games as well very pleased

Fantastic month for essential ,so pleased that rumour is true, 3 mass effect games on ps5 bc,never played any of them and biomutant etc ,best month ever I can recall for ps essential very happy

Gosh if that's true ,mass effect legendary edition ,let alone the other two on this month's essential is amazing ,I've not played mass effect at all and would love to get into it ,I'm a happy gamer anyway but mass effect would on essential for December make my gaming year complete in terms of fantastic value for money

Maybe abit of gt7 with the great update from pd this wk and big thanks to pd for all yr hard work and this wonderful game ,if pd ever read these comments which I doubt they do a big thank-you anyway ,other than that watching world cup amongst other things so probably not that much gaming but sometimes you do need a break from games anyway if only for a few days ,have a great weekend all:)

Playing god of war 2018 on and off at mo ,so it'll be a while before ragnorok is played, and any games for that matter as football world cup is dominating most of my time for next 3 or so wks

It's one of the reasons why I love the playstation brand ,such amazing games from all developers, nothing is ever perfect ,(you could argue that perfection is in the eye of the beholder anyway ),but the playstation brand keeps delivering what I need and want as a gamer:)

I've just over the last few days started god of war 2018 and I'm only 4% of the way through ,so alot still to do ,I've not played it before and it's absolutely fantastic ,graphics,cinematics etc etc ,well if god of war 2018 carries on being this brilliant, I can't possibly imagine ragnorok being any better ,but most people from reviews and here as well are saying its much better ,gosh have I got greatness to look forward to

Yes interesting, my goty is gt7 been quite addicted to it since release ,it probably helps that I love racing/driving games anyway ,and love motorsport in real life,but going back to the elden ring/gowr debate ,it'll be very interesting what gets the goty between them or even hfw and a few others thrown in to the mix ,its been a fantastic year for top notch releases ,and each person will have there own goty based on what they've played but I'll get around to trying elden and gowr and a few others in the next few wks and months and really looking forward to it I must admit:)

Also makes me wonder how cdpr messed up cyberpunk on ps4 at the start although maybe cyberpunk 2077 was a game to far for base ps4 ,only cdpr could answer that I suppose

Tech wise,gosh though to think the base ps4 can still do games like ragnorok in terms of its scope ,amazing even though its at 30fps ,I had a base ps4 then moved up to a pro and I thought they were both absolutely great consoles apart from noisy fan although my pro was one of latest ones they made with the quieter fan ,made quite a bit of difference,and yes the ps5 once the ps4 is left behind will come into its own but I'll admit I never thought for a minute that base ps4 would still be churning out games the quality of ragnorok and forbidden west etc etc unbelievable really

Gaming is such a fantastic hobby:)

@northern_monkey ,yeah I suppose pc gaming is always abit ahead in terms of tech e.g graphics cards especially ,I used to game on pc quite abit a few yrs ago ,am ps5 really these days ,but I may get a gaming laptop at some stage next year

It's a miracle of gaming that santa Monica can optimize ragnorok to run brilliantly on such what you'd now say old hardware although when base ps4 first released ,the hardware was considered abit behind the times even then.what I find staggering is that graphic intensive game like ragnorok with also having to run smoothly although on base ps4 30 fps that it runs fine according to push square ,so imagine what the ps5 is truly capable of in the near future ,the mind boggles,I'm really pleased for ps4 and ps4 pro players that they get to enjoy these great games in all their glory

And best of luck to all people that really want one I hope we all mange to get 1 pre ordered and not being scalped ,here's hoping

I was guessing at a 450 uk pounds price for psvr2 but it's a bit more, yes I shall get it pre ordered that's assuming they are not all gone very excited for this high end vr tech I've got the first one and vr is amazing, and I still think the price is reasonable for the tech that you get, I'm certainly jumping on board can't wait:)

Yes it is unfortunate but it has been the case for a gd while now that street release dates get broken quite often ,I'm not surprised really but not good ,and yes unfortunately the only way to avoid any info about the game is don't go near gaming you tube channels,limit Internet gaming news or don't look at it at all ,it's such a huge shame this sort of thing has to happen though as ragnorak is a game I was planning to get in the new year but it will get increasingly difficult to avoid potential spoilers,maybe with that news I may get it quicker now

Well I hope its a great controller for people that really want one ,but at nearly half price of the ps5 console itself then I certainly couldn't justify paying over 200quid for what is essential another controller, but anyway hope people that buy it really enjoy it and if its really really good then maybe I'll get one when prices have dropped quite abit ,not that it will drop anytime soon ,but very happy with dualsense as is

Haven't played fallout 4 but heard great things about the game from other people who've played it ,I shall certainly be very curious about the ps5 version and I may dip in if reviews and whatnot are very good when it releases sometime next year

It's also very nice to have the options of performance mode and qraphical options etc within ps5 games, great to have choice.

Yes fast moving games always benefit 60fps,e.g ,racing/driving games and any other games that requires very fast input etc etc.im ok with 30fps as long as the game is well optimised and you don't get any bad judders and bad stuttering that takes the immersion away,also some people are affected more by 30fps to 60fps more than others and how technically capable yr tv is as well makes some difference.ive not played gotham knights for example that is at 30fps on ps5 and not on ps4 at all ,and that game I would have thought it'll get patched or something to smooth over any bad stutters ,it's interesting though the 30fps to 60fps ,i suppose going to 60fps regularly from 30fps and then having to drop down back to 30fps is it seems alot gamers dont like it and I get that,as if yr one of the players more noticing of the change from 60fps to 30fps then obviously its more problematic.going forward it'll be interesting to see what happens with near and future ps5 releases with what developers do with it.i definitely think the ps5 has the horsepower as gt7 runs in full native 4k at 60fps and even with ray tracing in replays,it runs beautifully well so the power is there,once we get past the cross gen stage then I think the ps5 will kick on and I believe we will see some astonishing games

Yep gonna have to invest in an external ssd for ps5 as AAA game sizes now are mostly getting up towards 100gb ,it's nothing new but it certainly fills up ps5 internal ssd pretty quickly ,all gd though

Yes really looking forward to more cars another gd update by the sds of it, I hope pd have managed to get rid of the invisible car bug ,had to look twice to see if i was seeing things but I couldn't have as the car wasn't visible lol,fantastic game apart from a few things here and there and really enjoy just driving different cars on time trail let alone everything else that is in the game ,seriously looking forward to the sophy a.i update at some stage but having a ball otherwise and my goty

Wow is this dual edge controller made of 9 carrot gold ,what a price ,having said that maybe it's a much better one than the standard dualsense ,if it had a better battery life then it would go some way of justifying that price or maybe it'll be a fantastic controller over the long term and it should be with that mark up ,anyway will be interesting what reviews say about it but I'll stick with dualsense for now at least

use my smart tv for streaming from you tube etc ,use ps5 for games and watching blu ray films in 4k etc, fantastic console

I like sound of this and it'll be great to have another arcade type racer,I don't have any expectations on whether it'll be brilliant or not but hearing about its release date only couple months before its launched is interesting ,I personally don't mind that ,it makes a refreshing change ,obviously I like many others hope it's very very good ,and only for new gen consoles and pc is great ,sure it'll look fantastic in 4k at 60fps with that art style ,I personally love driving/racing games ,looking forward to seeing what it's like on the 2nd Dec and reviews before

This month all gd ,haven't tried any of them before ,I'll add them all to library and try them all at some stage.

Really looking forward to psvr2 ,really enjoyed psvr,psvr2 will be on another level ,and fantastic that sony innovate,here's hoping I can get one at launch ,what with scalpers etc etc and will have to be quick to pre order when they go live ,also of course as long as price isn't to high ,but I'd expect 400 quid ish maybe bit more or maybe bit less who knows ,but do think with the less mucking around to setup with only one wire this time and everything else that'll be so much better ,I'm certainly sold on it ,can't wait and also hope that everyone else that would love to have one can get one and hopefully much less of this scalpering nonsense that stops people who really love gaming to be able to get one ,although who I am kidding ,I hope sony do pre orders through their official sony gaming website or something like that at least anyway psvr2 is gonna be very special I think

A delay by 3 wks doesn't bother me,I have so much to get through anyway lol,but this game I think I may get around Xmas time if it reviews well ,I love racing games (good ones though)

An ok update to a fantastic racing/driving game ,1 thing I would love to see added even though its certainly nothing major is in custom races when racing against the a.i ,is the option to change the a.i's tyres from comfort/sport/racing all tyre types including intermediate and rain tyres as well just so you can have better closer racing more often,more handicap options for you and the a.i etc etc ,a qualifying race option would be fantastic as well as has already been mentioned by some people ,and 1 bug I can see that others have probably realised as well is in custom races ,the rolling start gaps between cars at the start is set to 20 metres until u go to change it ,then it goes back to 15 mtrs and you can't have any other metre gaps other than 15 or 20 ,anyway that's a small thing ,but there is so much racing/driving to do in gt7 ,my personal goty so far

Love all the updates for gt7 since release ,could again have another few menus added and various extra events etc and of course 3 more cars ,fantastic game on ps5 ,looking forward to update on Thursday

Yes very excited for psvr2,just need to know the price really ,I guess it'll be somewhere in the region of £450 ,but it sounds like amazing tech and I thought psvr blew me out of the water,this tech will blow me to the moon lol

No gaming this weekend,had a 7 day break from all games just for to give my eyes a rest and mentally to switch off from it,although having said that ,I sit here writing this and I'm tempted to play some rdr2 and to chill with Arthur Morgan by the campfire ,that's what I love about rdr2 ,you can take such a long time over this amazing experience and do everything at yr own pace ,Rockstar nailed it with rdr2 and I'm still early on in the story but the fact you can go and just wander around and fish or just explore brings home to me just how very far we've come with gaming over the last years ,gaming still has its issues certainly but the positives of gaming as a hobby far outway the negatives,all good

Bought outer wilds for ps4 just after it came out ,played it briefly but got sidetracked and haven't really returned to it yet,really great to have a free upgrade to ps5 4k ,60fps etc as apparently there were performance issues early on ,anyway I'll definitely get into this now its had a ps5 makeover, heard and read brilliant things about outer wilds so looking forward to it ,this is one of the many advantages I'm loving about ps5,free upgrades etc ,I'll download it later and have a gd look at this upgrade and the game itself:)

That's interesting with no modric in top 23,a fantastic footballer ,he would be in my top 10,and benzema will win Ballon d'or, gets better with age after wonderful season last year,some many great players, I haven't bought a fifa game since 16 ,got fifa 22 free through ps essential ,and really enjoy it on ps5 ,I may buy this years if reviews are very gd but I'll wait for a few months after release I think first

I haven't bought part 1 yet as I've bought and played the ps3 and ps4 remastered version,I will buy part1 when price drops abit,I personally feel that price has to be more of an issue on this as its been released on last 2 gen consoles ,so each to their own on whether they've played versions before or whether it's their first buy on this game ,if last of us had just been released on ps5 without previous gens then you could very much say its worth the money.anyway it's still a fantastic game whichever you buy or have already got.price at 70 quid is obviously up to each person whether its worth it to them and I'm still very pleased is selling well ,on ps5 as it does show fab support and I'll get it in a little while down the road,enjoy whichever 1 you have

Great news football manager on ps5 for first time,will definitely get this on release assuming it's very much like the pc version and can take united back to the top lol:)

Yes it's pretty good month ,looking forward to need for speed heat as I haven't tried a need for speed game for like ages ,so interesting to see what that is like ,may try the other 2 but will add them all to library anyway and go from there ,if I see 1 game out of three on essential service a month that I think oh I'll try that ,then alls well and good and some months there is nothing out of 3 that i try but thats the way the cookie crumbles lol , am tempted to upgrade to extra but may hold out abit longer as still got alot to get through on discs so we will see

I to also wish they had Introduced new areas to explore etc etc but then I suppose it could've ruined the iconic feel of the original version but what do I know ,hope the gamers that are playing it are really enjoying it though
