Playing abit of tiebreak that I've just bought and I'm very impressed ,did some research beforehand and watched some videos on tiebreak ,really enjoying the first tennis game I've played for sometime ,still early on just getting to grips with controls etc but great stuff so far and immersive ,looking forward to tackling career mode soon:)

Re: Talking Point: Is PS5 Pro Way Too Expensive?

lets_do-this_1999

I don't get this ,why oh why didn't sony just package a stand and a disk drive In all orders of the ps5 pro,so that anyone who then decides doesn't want the disk drive etc could then sell it and the most important thing is it would have kept the disk drives out of the hands of scalpers doesn't seem logical to me or am I missing something ,then there's the price of it all 800odd quid for the lot ,sure probably electronic goods have gone up but it seems to me that no thought has gone into it and sony probably then expects long time ps customers to just take it or leave it,bad decisions here there's no doubt in my mind ,the ps5 pro will probably be one heck of a console but these decisions have made me probably wait now until sometime next year now to get one, would've probably got 1 at launch or pre order ,not much thought was put into this from a buyers perspective especially people that are genuine gamers to much arrogance here and not enough thought;(

Re: Failing Manufacturers Are Pushing the Narrative That Consoles Are Dying, Says Ex-Xbox Exec

lets_do-this_1999

I used to game on pc alot a few yrs ago but came to the realisation that I was really spending more time checking settings etc than actually playing but I have always as well had consoles,I much much prefer console gaming as the convenience and just feels absolutely right for me,don't get me wrong though pc gaming is awesome but gaming wise I'll defo stick to consoles, think Sony etc will keep making them as long as there is demand, when I bought into the Sony playstation ecosystem something felt right very quickly ,nothings ever perfect and things can always be improved,I think Sony have nailed mostly about what makes console gaming so fantastic overall

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 544

Probably no gaming ,I've been on abit of a break from gaming lately and really enjoying the time away from it to reset abit and do plenty of other things, when gaming is back on the agenda I'll be onto rdr2 in a big way as I've hardly ever played much of it since release nearly 6 yrs ago would you believe ,but what I have played of it so far Is hugely impressive (typical rockstar).

Re: Rumour: PS5 Pro Design Seemingly Leaked

lets_do-this_1999

I love physical ,but I cant really believe sony would be so stupid to not have a disc drive with it especially for people with alot of discs like myself ,they'll just really annoy alot of games who like myself love physical ,I'll wait for official news from Sony themselves as its pure speculation at the mo,but certainly if it ends up being digital only then i certainly won't be getting one ,plus it would be a really bad business move from Sony and from a pr point of view,we will see what happens

Re: PS5's Lack of Tentpole Exclusives Isn't Hurting Engagement, Says Sony

lets_do-this_1999

I've been using my ps5 alot less in late spring ,summertime as I have alot of other interests/hobbies anyway and spend alot time outdoors as I'm a keen cyclist ,but as for ps5 exclusives,I'm not at all bothered as I have a gd backlog to get through and I personally don't regret buying ps5 for 1 second, quick loading, great dualsense controller, improvements to older games from bc games from ps4 gen ,I totally agree though we've not seen the best from it yet ,but that leaves room for excitement for the near future, only thing is for me is I just really wish modern games these days were totally finished on release ,I get that you can patch bugs etc ,but alaskan rd truckers has a game breaking bug that means ps5 players that have played about 60 hrs ish ,some players get there saves wiped, they've got a workaround now though with a permanent fix very shortly ,luckily I'm nowhere near that time frame as my time with it so far has been very short ,I'm only 5 hrs in ,but in its defence its got an addictive loop and is a great game to relax to and thankfully you can get out of yr truck, I used to love watching ice rd truckers on tv ,anyway nothings perfect but don't regret buying a ps5 ,great console

Re: Best Uncharted Games

lets_do-this_1999

The whole unchartered series of games are incredible still to this day,I'm currently playing lost legacy ,its the only one I've not played I had started it ages ago and got sidetracked by other games lol,I personally think no4 pips no2 just but very very close call and no1 is still very gd ,no3 is fantastic as well but a bit more all over the place, which has now got me thinking when I'm done with lost legacy, I may go through the others again ,I've played abyss on vita but never finished it but very very gd on a portable of what I did get through ,an absolutely fantastic run of games and naughty dog at their best ,can only hope we get 1 more on the ps5 but wishful thinking really ha ha

lets_do-this_1999

Great free update ,looking forward to it ,I think France and Portugal will be there or thereabouts to winning it ,i don't think England will win it because of the defence , England have got goals by the bucket load but most of the time you have to be pretty solid at the back as well to win these major tournaments but really looking to a fantastic festival of football and at the end of the day if liecester

Re: Xbox Series S Specs Limit the Scope of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

lets_do-this_1999

I don't really believe this anyway ,as very recently its been said that it's twice the size ,so which one is it ,it can't be both lol, either way it'll be a great game I would think.i don't think the series s would hold back ps5 version anyway as developers would've had the consoles technical info way before release of these consoles and had the time to work with development kits etc, think it'll be a great game though when it releases

With weather being gd for a change and warm , I'll be spending a gd deal of time outside cycling, walking ,although looks as if thunderstorms are quite possible from Sunday afternoon onwards so if it does pour down tomorrow then it'll be going through a few games on ps plus extra and having a look at some fresh games I haven't played and maybe with abit gta5 ,enjoy Yr gaming everyone:)

Playing abit of pacific drive, still very early on in the game ,takes quite bit time to get used to all menus etc and the way the controller buttons work, I've only started my second run out of garage and already pacific drive is great ,totally different to anything else I've played but in a very gd way different.im not gonna go into detail about the game as I don't want to spoil anything for others ,anyone that's thinking about getting it but not sure, I'd say don't sleep on it as I did abit concerned as others have said bout fps etc ,gameplay has been smooth so far.really enjoying it and dare I say if it carries on like this ,it'll put some much higher budget games to shame

Re: New PS5 Pro Leak Points to Significant Graphics Push from Sony

lets_do-this_1999

Personally I'm really looking forward to the ps5 pro,I was lucky enough to get my ps5 on launch day and it's been really great,I love the fact that Sony are giving us plenty of options ,what with portal ,psvr2 ,Edge controller etc etc and it'll give us yet another option for those that want that extra power under the hood.itll be interesting when we hear about sonys official announcement is gonna be for launch period/date and most importantly price, probably 600quid or around that price ,but we will see

Re: 14 More Games Land on PS Plus Extra, Premium Today

lets_do-this_1999

Dave the diver ,delivery us Mars, and construction sim sds the most interesting to me but I've just noticed construction sim isn't on the list yet In store and when you look to see the game itself it says you need to pay 20quid or upgrade to premium ,the odd game or two on ps plus extra before has done the same so I assume this will get sorted during the day like the others have before

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 524

Just bought the physical deluxe edition of pacific drive on Tuesday but haven't had much time to dive in yet on it,still in the garage working things out for controls, menus etc ,a lot to learn but really great atmosphere at this very early stage of the game ,feels like it's got so much heart and soul and love the art style ,bit like firewatch which was great.will play abit more of pacific drive later on today after spending a gd dose of time cycling this afternoon enjoying this very nice early spring weather after a very miserable and wet winter.looking forward to the looting in pacific drive as well and so far really enjoying it

Re: Most PS5 Players Say 60fps Is a Must

lets_do-this_1999

I've just bought pacific drive physical deluxe edition today ,and apparently on ps5 its dodgy on unlocked framerate so I'll have to see what all the fuss is about with it.,I for one think that 60fps should be the target certainly and if I'm being really honest 60fps should be standard but I don't mind 30fps locked as apposed to 30 unlocked etc ,certainly should be more stable like that,I'm personally not as sensitive to changes like some gamers are but I get it though on todays ps5 hardware, probably mostly not been optimised properly, anyway ps5 pro should without question address this issue heres hoping lol

Re: PlayStation Fans Torn on Prospect of PS5 Pro

lets_do-this_1999

I'm not at all surprised with the ps5 pro on its way, computer tech moves forward quickly.itll be a very nice extra option for gamers who want more power etc etc,I personally think it'll sell alright just like the ps4 pro did, just waiting to hear the official specs from Sony themselves but it certainly sds interesting if the rumoured specs are true,I shall get one certainly ,if these specs are correct .

Re: Talking Point: How Do You Feel About the PS5 Pro?

lets_do-this_1999

It will be interesting when sony officially annkunces the ps5 pro abit later this year that whether the specs match the rumoured info for cpu ,gpu ,a.i etc etc,and yes I'll be getting one ,but I absolutely agree that the ps5 hasn't been tapped into much at all yet I feel ,like so many others have said, the pro will be a great extra option for gamers that want extra power etc and you can never have enough of that ,but it's certainly a strange generation this one.

Started sifu, only barely 1 hr into the game and I can understand what the hype is around it over the last 2 yrs, what a ton of fun sifu is and I've barely got going,it's so empowering, I feel like John wick/Bruce Lee, if yr having a bad day ,this is the game to offload that frustration ,challenging but oh so very cool, when I've dealt with a group of guys I feel so gd because it's pretty difficult but I'd rather be challenging than to easy as much more satisfaction ,and maybe tomorrow some rdr2 and grid legends and I've been so tempted to get pacific drive as that game sds super cool as I love driving games and it's getting gd reviews from critics and people that have bought it
