Classic SEGA Genesis action platformer Gargoyles will be reborn for PS4 on the 19th October. The predictably named Gargoyles Remastered will boast a new visual style that you can switch to at any time, along with a rewind function that lets you undo your mistakes (or even potential mistakes!). You can get a look at the graphical overhaul in the trailer above, which more closely resembles the Gargoyles animated series.

That new artwork in the game is maybe the ugliest remake I have ever seen. Thank goodness you can use the old sprites.
This is a very welcomed surprise. My childhood coming back to me. Keith David with the narration was stellar.
Why does the remaster look worse than the original 🤔 the original has more colour tones whereas the remaster just looks flat.
I hated the show so bad as a kid, so playing it is not a curiosity for me.
Still, I have friends who did like this. Will share it to them.

@Cashews It's definitely in a race for first place (or last, if you will) in that category with the remakes of "Monkey Island 1 & 2".
Loved the cartoon back in the day and it’s nice to rewatch it anytime on Disney +. But only rented the game only once. I didn’t get far.
The game and show was awesome. Too bad it was too mature for Disney. Still, definitely gonna play this.
This remake looks dull and gray. They better spruce it up before release or something.
