If a Switch Pro comes along that will secure it for sure, but even without it, Switch will eventually pass the PS2.

What a console the PS2 was though, affordable, DVD player, games for every genre, for all ages and the hardware, Guitars, microphones, quiz shows! The Switch still carries a lot of what the PS2 gave us.

Wild how few new games many of us have played this year. Apart from a few standout games, it's been a quiet year or there is not a lot of interesting games?

Bah, I thought with MS monopolising these it would inspire new fresh games to come out from other companies.

Bit like it was the old days, like you'd have 7/8 different fighting games on each console, maybe a couple would be good. But todays market, I guess the risks are too high.

I'd admit, the previews of this game didn't interest me, it looked boring, generic looking lead character, done to death story.

But word of mouth suggest this is actually quite a decent game. I think if they moved away from Sony and their criticism of the game, could had easily got a sequel with someone else.

This guys lost it though, not helped himself.

My main concern would had been combat, in 2018 it was the same tactics for pretty much everything and with the lack of bad guy variety, I wasn't enjoying the combat during end game.

Yes, Nintendo are notorious for re-releases. In some defence, Wii U didn't sell well so it's games didn't reach many people.

But it feels like you're saying Sony has only recently started re-releasing this generation.

I think everyone is entitled to an opinion, I don't think anyone has been proven wrong here.

Some people aren't happy about the price and clearly other people are not bothered by it.

They're killing off Super Bomberman R Online (which is a shame, I'm pretty good at it) and as others pointed out Bomberman game announced during a Direct.

Whilst there is the price comment about PC, initially yes. But as time goes on, it's a much better investment.

Big question will be when there's no more reasons about putting up prices, I.e. Russia/Ukraine ends, will the prices go down?

One day a company will say, "We make enough money, let's drop the price of something for our consumers". But businesses need to keep their investors happy, so it'll never happen.

I wouldn't just target Sony, its every industry doing it. I suspect Nintendo and MS to follow.

PS4 took a lot of the X1 base. X1 was marketed so poorly and it's still an uphill battle for Microsoft.

I'd say it is hard to tell right now if PS5 is right to basically play PS4 built games due to the issues with everything. I'm not convinced we've actually had 9th generation experience, but playing improved PS4 games has made the PS5 relevant.

Like a few of you, PS3 is my favourite, it built the foundations for some of the PS4/5's best games and the variety of new and old games it could play.

Ahhh another month with Nintendo Switch Online... Oh wait?

Got a PS1 a few years after the N64, loads of mates where talking about FF7, I got a PS1 and rented FF7 loads.

N64 had the best multiplayer, but Command and Conquer with the link cable was awesome! Both PS1 and N64 had amazing single players games.

Easily my favourite generation of gaming.

Sound be interesting to see how this turns out without Ono. Looking good so far.

Without a doubt, it's well polished accessible game, easily 10/10 for most people.

I thought it was boring. TLoU peaked with the first game, now that's being milked dry.

Now Uncharted, there's a best game ever contender!!
