Continuing my Legendary Solo play through of Halo Master Chief Collection. I'm on mission 11 of 15 on Halo 2 and this has got to be the hardest of the 5 on this difficulty.
I'm quite jealous of all you PS4 guys playing Spider-Man as it looks brilliant and right up my gaming street.
I'm playing through Hellblade Senua's Sacrifice which I've only got a couple of chapters to go. When I'm done with that I'll either go back to my Legendary run of Halo 2 or carry on with The Surge.
@get2sammyb Nice Celine reference there! COD hasn't been for me in a long time and when I did play them it was only for the single player elements as I suck so hard at the online component and that I can't stand the spawn, live a second or two and die by the hand of some 12 year old from across the other side of the map.
I'm currently playing Wolfenstein 2 which I only started at the weekend so I'll have that on the go for a little while yet and then there's the 200+ games that I have installed and have played bits and pieces of and the sales that keep topping up my backlog to epic proportions!
I started Cuphead at the weekend and can attest to it's hard as nails brief, me and my pal managed to beat 2! of the first levels over a night of about 3 hours play.
I was having a look at my games library and I currently have about 200 installed and on my shelf, physical, I have 15 discs. I also just bought another 4tb HDD so my storage is now 8.5TB inc the pitifully small internal HDD.
If I buy a game myself it is usually digitally in a sale as I don't really buy on release time, physical tends to be gifts or if I spot an insanely good deal while out shopping.
The other two games are great so I had high hopes for this one and I shall be getting it in the very near future despite a backlog that'd stretch to the moon and back!
I am a single player guy with the occasional online experience with friends and very, very occasionally with randoms but my online tends to be limited to co op not PvP.
The Elite controller is without doubt the best built controller of any I've used over the years and Sony would be mad not to do something similar, like the Pro there will be people that will snap it up in a heart beat. I'll be honest, I wouldn't have bought it if Argos hadn't have done a promotion where they had it for £100 including a game (FH3 in this case) so I was basically paying £55 for the controller which is about the same as a regular one.
Just 100% the LEGO movie game and I think I'll head back into Dragon Age Inquisition to try and finish off the descent DLC although I may need to be a higher level as I'm currently getting spanked by the two trolls and the mage things that come with them. Also picked up Shinobi for a bit of nostalgia and had a blast on that last night.
@B-I-G-DEVIL @get2sammyb I've just got that 4TB one for my Xbox and it works a treat. The main draw for me was it being USB powered and it's way smaller than my Seagate 1TB drive.
I spent a good long time on Forza Horizon 3, I like the road races but I'm not liking the off road ones. I find these very frustrating, even on the easiest setting and it makes me regret getting it.
I'm all aboard the hype train! I have the season pass so it'll be a day one for me. I've really enjoyed the whole series, even though its taken me two years so far to try and finish the first. For some reason I just can't beat the end boss even though I've finished 2 and 3 multiple times.
I have the first one on Xbox as it was given on Games with Gold and it is decent enough but I've never had the chance to really get into it. I would probably get the sequel when the price drops.
To my eyes that looks way better than the black one, but as the two above have said, everything else I have is black so it would look right out of place.
Still trying to finish Alien Isolation without getting killed and without killing anyone else. Even on easy this is a hard game, I've had to restart a couple of chapters as I got killed by those face hugger scumbags.
I'm replaying Alien Isolation, trying to get the no deaths and no killing humans Achievements and at some point in the future, I'll have to replay it with a guide to get all the collectables to tie up the last two Acheivements for 100%. I've also had a bit of a blast on Halo 3 ODST and Peggle 2 just for a bit of a laugh as Alien is so full on.
I've been playing Shadow of Mordor, just trying to mop up the last half dozen Achievements to 100% it but it's a bit of a time sink and I don't have the free time.
I've had a night of Halo MCC and Gears Ultimate both in co op and tonight I'm hitting up Dark Souls 3 DLC with my co op pal, looking forward to being back in the DS world.
I'm not too sure, I may continue trying to finish up the side quests in Shadow of Mordor or continue my solo Legendary run of Halo 2 or just pick a random game off my hard drive.
@get2sammyb Great read. It certainly sounds like an interesting prospect although I'm not personally keen on it. I hope all you guys that have it on order enjoy it very much.
I beat Arkham Asylum on hard and I'm trying to beat all the fighting challenges which I'm finding incredibly hard as my tactic is too much button mashing.
I finished Arkham Asylum last night and I'm now trying to get through the challenges so I can get 100% completion. The fighting ones really make my fingers ache and my anger rise as I'm just not good enough with the hit/counter thing.
I think it's a strange omission especially with the Xbox having one and I was wondering, given the size of current games, going forward, will games not start coming on 4K Blu Rays to be able to take the vast GB size of them?
