I never was into Digimon at all but I will definitely get this one - graphics look good and the gameplay is just my thing - love turn based rpgs like the old FF games - now that I heard that this is kinda mix of Persona and Pokemon set in the Digimon world its automatically a must have for me. Is it Cross Buy/Cross Save??
id also give this one a 8/10 Graphics and Sound are just awesome, the gameplay is varied and so much fun, the story levels are great in both design and challenge and theres plenty of post game (user generated) content to be found too. What holds the game (the series tbh) back is always the controls - they are just not "spot on" - Im kinda spoiled by Nintendo plattformers but actually, thats what I expect - and those controls are also mostly the reason why the arguably biggest part of the game - the creation part - is pretty much worthless for me. Sorry but with those fiddly controls I simply cant design stages or whatever that right ... it just dont feels "good". As long as MediaMolecule (or whatever dev takes over the franchise in the future) doesnt improve on the controls, LBP will always be just a "good" plattformer, no must have
WARNING - IMPORTANT NOTE why did noone here mention the IMMENSE GAME BREAKING BUGS this game has on PS4??? sorry guys but I downloaded this after hearing so much praise over the last months (years) and Im shocked that a developer like "Thatgamecompany" isnt able to fix those constant crashes - just google it, there are many players like me that have the same - game breaking - issues. The game itself sure is something special - although Im not that much of a philosophical person (the ending left me more like "wtf" than "hugely impressed" - and not in a good way) the game sure is meant to be a "seamless" experience - those constant crashes just ruin the whole atmosphere, since there are no checkpoints (only chapters) one has to do the whole chapter again if the game crashes ... that nearly ruined it for me. All in all its a 6/10 for me - could be an 8/10 if those bugs would be patched (but I doubt that after this long time). Along with the constant crashes the game is way too short - only 2 and a half hours to complete is simply put too short. Graphics, Sound and Atmosphere are great, coop is .. "unique" .. but overall im not ok with that high score here To be honest this review here had me finally change my mind and download it, Im hugely disappointed Wanted to just tell anyone thats interested to be aware of those constant game crashes - Is possible you wont have issues with that game of course - I did, and many other too - so I guess its worth mentioning
ok so now I finally got the game since it was on sale and thankfully my save file from the demo could be used too ^^ so - after idk 12 hrs into the game i can just say "phew" - i dont know if I will ever have time to finish this, seriously. I didnt expect that game to be so grindy, seriously. It is overwhelming in every way imaginable, theres so much to do, to consider, be aware of ... although it has very good tutorials and explanations, I think I didnt even scratch the surface on what that game has to offer. I love the graphics, the absurd humor, and the gameplay is rewarding, addctive, fun - I just hope that those difficult spikes wont turn me off .... nothing against a challenge but, excessive Level grinding is always needed to proceed (which means repeat previous chapters idk endless times) - as much fun as this game is (and it is great), it feels like "work" sometimes. And im just level 10 here, I dont even wanna think about getting everyone up to level 9999 (!!!). But honestly I can see why the game/the series is so famous - it just rewards you all the time and you always have the feeling "just one more level" - highly addicting.j Id say for now its an 8/10 for me, maybe Im gonna change my mind if I (ever am able to) complete it. RPG Doods .. um sorry .. RPG Fans that are interested and are aware of huge difficulty spikes and therefore excessive (!!!) grinding wont go wrong with this one
Titanfall is surely one of the best Xbox One exclusives and one of the best online mp shooters of my recent memory, the action is so intense and the gameplay is brilliant imo - so glad that TF2 is FINALLY coming to PS4 ^^ shame on MS for missing out on having this exclusive again - missed opportunity but they wont ever catch up to the PS4 anyway I wish for Titan customization and a good coop mode, didnt really miss a campaign tbh but I wont say no to one either in the sequel ^^ must have for me!
definitive must buy - Mass Effect is one of my favourite series of all time
Oh and Id definitely love a HD Collection of the first three titles (its about time isnt it)
HELLDIVERS !!!!! yes yes yeeeeeeessss I always wanted that game ^^ just sad i dont have a PS3 any more I would so want to play Persona Arena Ultimax (why no HD remake ArkSys???) (
finally got the game and its absolutely brilliant! One of the best Indie Titles I have ever played, huge respect towards the developer who has just nailed it in every way possible.
Graphics are very appealing if you love "retro" and especially the soundtrack is simply put amazing, the controls are pixel perfect, the gameplay is hugely rewarding too - its one of the best "metroidvania" - games ive ever played (and Ive played a lot of them since its my fav genre).
pretty damn tough game though - along with the need to backtrack (although its rewarding) and the - at times - frustration on having to figure out where to go next - its definitely a 9/10, for me even a 10/10.
I really want that game - I got Flower and Flow, both I liked (well .. Flow is a bit hmmmm ^^) but what holds me back is the play time i admit. Only 2 hrs to finish it? I just dont want to buy it and then its for free in March or on Sale, 15 Euro are a bit too much for 2 hrs, even if they supposed to be stellar and awesome sorry
good update ^^ was planning on getting KingsQuest before, glad I waited. Super excited for Freedom Wars! I always wanted to buy this I freaked out when I heard it is free for plus in december cant wait to finally play it - people say its brilliant
people should just stop crying about the season pass and dlc and just start having fun with this awesome game - its an absolute blast ^^
it sure is no time sinker and not even half as richt in content and customization as BlackOps3 but it is graphically stunning and simple pure fun to play, easy to pick up even for players that are not so good in online FPS - if you have some friends to play with in coop its amazing, alone sure it wears out fast I admit, but you should not play online FPS games alone in general, just go find a clan - its so much more fun ^^
Dragon Quest 8, FF12, Rogue Galaxy, Suikoden 5, Grandia 2+3, Okami, Persona 3 FES, the whole Shin Megami Tensei Series, Star Ocean 3 hmmm if I had to pick just one id definitely go for Dragon Quest 8
hmm I was hugely disappointed by the beta - I expected much much more But I will still get it just because all of my clan friends get it and it will surely be fun for a few hours or so But its obvious that Black Ops 3 has a far far more valueable overall package on offer - oh and btw its the first double exp weekend Its a shame that Battlefront is so lacking in content obviously - I expected a campaign, but I assume EA saves up some features and modes for the sequel ...
@Johnnycide just go get it - you will love it - its brilliant - and since you know the "other" Souls Games you know what to expect in terms of gameplay (many changes over DS1 for the better) and, of course, the unbeaten dark tension atmosphere. Just be prepared to die ... even more than on PS3/360 because the "Scholar of the First Sin" Edition is even more harder/hardcore because of new (and tougher) enemies and things like that.
lmao thats what I call "in your face" haha seriously: I doubt that SF5 will be a system seller dont get me wrong, I love SF since 2 on SNES and Im really lookin forward to the next one, but I doubt it will be seen as the next system seller
I played the campaign in coop with a friend and we had a blast - the story was pretty confusing though, especially the end of the game, I had to look up some things on the net to fully understand what was going on there. Its also true that customization - well at least in the low difficulty - might not be as important, and that the missions are not overly varied, but it is very flashy, full of adrenaline, and just pure fun to play - so is the rest of the game. Sure, it got many many bugs and problems, but I guess they will be fixed soon. Will also start the campaign for a second playthrough after I finished Nightmares, not only because I missed so many collectibles (where the hell are they haha) but because the missions itself are so tense and fun to play that I just want to play it again
I imagine those EA bosses wearing suits, sitting in a noble office somewhere in a skyscraper, smoking cigarres and drinkin whiskey, loughing out loud with an utmost evil loughter like " harharhar, those gamers will buy any crap as long as it has the label Star Wars on it, just sell them the crappy old Battlefield gameplay along with all the bugs, they wont even recognise as long as there are Jedis ... and Vader .. muahahahaha"
I was honestly not-so "blown away" by the beta, but I will still get it just to play it now and then - it surely is no time sinker like cod but quite some fun now and then i guess, especially with my clan friends ^^
thanks for reminding me, I nearly forget to download it ^^ btw: so annoying to always have to create an account for anything .. they should have just put that dlc code in the box if you ask me
id sure pick one up if its made from Sony, depends on the price of course. I admit I dont feel any need for a "pro" controller, the DualShock is good as it is
oh my god I want it NOW !!!! loved star ocean so much back then, the 4th was such a disappointment, but the new one looks so amazing!!! Im also hyped as can be, next year will be major for us JRPG Fans: DarkSouls3 (ok, no traditional JRPG ^^), Persona 5, Star Ocean 5, FinalFantasy15, ... I need to save up some vacation lol
I really hope they fix the server and connection issues - most of the time its nearly impossible for me and my friends (party) to go online together, no news on a patch so far, seems they try everything to fix the even worse to almost unplayable PC Version @ topic: the game is (besides the connection issues) absolute brilliant
@get2sammyb thanks for your answer! The game would deserve more attention, even after the PR desaster with Kojima/Konami. No other game, well except for The Witcher 3, has impressed me that much on PS4 so far. Its brilliant!
@get2sammyb well Im a proud fan of CoD and NFS so Im always lookin forward to those two ^^ (personally im through with Assassins Creed though) its just a shame and sad that so many good indie games or other not-so tripple A games like DragonQuest Warriors, Disgaea or so dont get any attention at all oh and by the way, why is Metal Gear Solid 5 not in those charts?? I just bought it and im blown away by that game, seriously
LOL - Fifa, Cod, Assassins Creed, Halo and NFS are the top five - "the same procedure as every year" rings through my ear .. (well, except for the Chief of course, his presence is not so "frequent") people can now finally stop complaining and arguing about those games because - obviously - everyone buys them anyway regardless
the game is nothing short but amazing, and a major improvement over AW I have it since saturday and played it all day long in coop The campaign starts good so far, the zombies mode is an absolute blast (best zombie mode in cod) and the online multiplayer is as we all know excellent as well (especially the new classes/characters). There were some annoying connection/server/host problems though, really hope they fix this asap Id easily give this a 9/10, easily, extremely good overall package
ok, I am planning to get this after all, some of my friends got it and they are all amazed! Not only by the graphics and style, the online part is said to be really really awesome when played with friends - I cannot understand why it got so many bad to mediocre reviews from the press, the players seem to love it. Ok its NFS, so everyone knows what to expect tbh (gameplay and AI wise for example), its like FIFA or COD, dont expect any dramatic changes from year to year, the developers play it save. I loved "Underground" back then on the PS2 and it seems that this one here is a good follow-up. I understand that the lack of modes/events, the AI and the "online-only" holds the game back, but if the games fun thats all that matters right
@delukze go get DriveClub! Best racing game on PS4 without any doubt, you cant get more value for your money in combination with the season pass (its extremely cheap now), not only is the gameplay amazing, the graphics are stunning too - highly recommended!
@JaxonH LOL saved my day ^^ i would bet that it is just like that, 100%
I think both PS4 and One have awesome controllers and awesome FPS games - for example I would not want to miss out on Halo and Titanfall, and I also love Killzone, games like CoD and Battlefront are imo not better on any of those two they look and play exactly the same on both consoles.
I really loved Underground back then on my PS2, but the second one was a huge disappointment, been waiting for a follow-up ever since, Carbon was quite good though, been lookin forward to this and now all those mediocre reviews, and from what I can see from gameplay vids its always the same with NFS, the gameplay never changes, which wasnt so bad if the AI would be improved at last. I also dont like online-only games at all, I dont like online multiplayer very much (too much annoyance online) and I just hate it when I cant pause a game. I will wait for a price drop or buy it used, no full price for me, Im gonna stick to Driveclub ^^
*sarcasm on I dont care for free games or online play - I just subscribe to plus because I think Sony deserves the extra money from me, its my duty as a playstation gamer! Why is there no option so they can debit as much as they want, anytime they want? @ topic: Sony should AT LEAST give me the new NeedforSpeed and BlackOps3 FOR FREE in November - and, as an apology, Halo 5 and the SuperMarioMaker! If they already can own the whole market regarding sales, they should also have the right to bring those games to us ps-gamers - but just those who pay extra for plus of course! *sarcasm off
@rjejr the PSTV actually is pretty awesome to play vita games on a TV, for those who dont own a vita to be precise, and also in combination with ps4 and vita in one household the pstv is pretty damn amazing to play most vita games on the big screen from time to time
the game is nothing short but amazing - from start to finish hardly any game had me that much impressed on the ps4 so far - technically and gameplay-wise, I just wished it was longer @topic: the theme looks good, but my favourite is the journey theme ^^ it looks very good and the tune is so chilled ^^ although this is - of course - better suited for halloween ^^
haha and I though I was the only one bad at DriveClub LOL the games pretty damn tough, Im not a pro gamer or so but I do play racing games like PGR, DIRT and NFS once in a while but DriveClub is really really hard the AI is extremely good but I just love the graphics and the overall style of the game thats what keeps me addicted to it Im up for a chilled noob driving if someones interested LOL haha
instant buy for me as a huge Tales fan ^^ I hope for a PS4/Vita Cross buy/cross save feature too Oh and I really wish for Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Legendia, those are the ones that I did never get the chance to play (they were not released in Europe back then) ^^
Tekken always is and will be one of the best fighting game series and own a special place in my gaming heart - and Im really lookin forward to this next entry and what it will offer (I hope for some new modes), but, I really think BandaiNamca should really start to build a new and way better graphic engine, as from what I have seen from gameplay vids, Tekken7 looks like a PS3/360 game, and I fear that the graphics will be on a same level as "Dead or Alive 5 LR" when Its released ... I hope they work on it, I know graphics are not everything, but compared to the quality that shows in the StreetFighter5 gameplay trailers I think the graphics here are disappointing
First things first: I got the game along with the season pass nearly a week ago as it is really extremely cheap right now - and as I commented on the review here, I really think the game deserves a way better rating right now, after all that has been patched and updated! (easily a 9/10) It reminds me of "ProjectGothamRacing" which is ment as a huge compliment, the graphics are also stunning too. The only "downside" is the difficulty, as I personally think the game is too hard, the AI drives nearly perfectly and sometimes I think I just win with luck. @ I am not into Bikes, so Ill pass on this DLC (unless it comes free some time), would have rather wished for more cars and new tracks ^^
@BladeRider well .. its amazing, dont know if you have played any other "Tales" game before, but Im a huge Fan of the series. Dont know about the preorder bonus, but theres some free DLC for buyin the day one edition. The Tales games always start kinda slow, they really take their time to get started and open up to the player - many see that as the Series major flaw. But if you kinda get through the "lame" opening hours, Zestiria expands into the - imo - biggest, most satisfying game in the series, the story is extremely gripping, the characters/cast grow to you and the battle system is satisfyingly complex and full of flashy action. The only downside is the camera, which tends to get hectic in narrow spaces, and the somewhat "empty/likewise" sceneries/dungeons Im having a blast with Zestiria and I can say without any doubt that it is my favorite Tales game so far
got the game last saturday - my impressions after somewhat 10 hrs or so (7% complete) - could easily turn to be the most polished and complete game that I have ever played
MGS5 is extremely complex and huge, and the more you play, the more it expands - its one of the best lookin games without any doubt, it plays very complex but extremely responsive and satisfying, and the amount of things to do and possibilities are just mind blowing.
I can somewhat understand all those people that are nitpicking because of the lack of ultra long cut scenes, and that mission objectives are mostly always the same - but those are minor flaws, compared to the overall greatness that is on offer here, besides its a Stealth/Espionage Action Game, not a movie, and the rescue/eliminate Missions are what can be expected of such a game, its all about that, infiltration, what else...
Personally, I enjoy this MGS the most, the cutscenes are stunningly well done as one could expect, the missions are as tense as can be, the game plays fluidly and is satisfying unlike any othe MGS game before
Sometimes I get the impression that many MGS fans just play those games because of the Story/Cutscenes and not for the gameplay itself
still havent finished Hollow Fragment - somewhere after idk 12 hrs or so I stopped and lost interest, and now I got Tales of Zestiria (one of my most wanted this year ^^) - for me as someone who doesnt know the anime/manga before playin it was pretty hard to get into it tbh, the game doesnt explain itself and its characters too well imo, but its intriguing enough I admit would be way better if it was cross play and cross save though well, before downloading the new one I should at least finish HF
that angers me and I really feel sorry for it - I bought a Vita a few months ago and it is by far the console I play most on - and I own PS4, One and WiiU So many great games and the Vita itself is exceptionally great in design, screen and comfort. I will be buying games on sale no matter what, till I have everything I am interested in, and I also use it for off screen play with the PS4, also have PSTV and really love the connection between those three Shame on you Sony! Im disappointed
after all that has been patched, fixed and added the game would deserve another closer look and an updated review with a much higher rating - with all of the content available, the improved graphics and netcode, and a season pass that offers more than most full priced games these days, this game now easily deserves a 9/10 its extremely cheap now on the ps store so every racing fan that has been hesitating - go get it, for me its a kind of spiritual predecessor of PROJECT GOTHAM RACING - it plays like it and is as rewarding
@E4effort just play a bit - depends on the difficulty but after some hours the gameplay - as you said and already know from predecessors - opens up extremely and becomes complex, stylish/flashy and very satisfying, you need to take enemies on hitting their weak spots, crushing through their defense and constantly be on guard - best battle system in the series so far imo Graphics are good on PS4, especially the characters and art desing, although the environments look empty and boring, camera has issues in narrow spaces too - but those are minor flaws compared to the overall excellence of the game
yeah the art style looks cool! but I would only pick this up once it is on plus or sale at least, if I want such a brawler Id rather stick to Smash Bros

Re: Review: LittleBigPlanet 3 (PlayStation 4)
id also give this one a 8/10
Graphics and Sound are just awesome, the gameplay is varied and so much fun, the story levels are great in both design and challenge and theres plenty of post game (user generated) content to be found too.
Wanted to just tell anyone thats interested to be aware of those constant game crashes - Is possible you wont have issues with that game of course - I did, and many other too - so I guess its worth mentioning

@get2sammyb well Im a proud fan of CoD and NFS so Im always lookin forward to those two ^^ (personally im through with Assassins Creed though)
its just a shame and sad that so many good indie games or other not-so tripple A games like DragonQuest Warriors, Disgaea or so dont get any attention at all oh and by the way, why is Metal Gear Solid 5 not in those charts?? I just bought it and im blown away by that game, seriously
Re: UK Sales Charts: Call of Duty: Black Ops III Sells Best on PS4
LOL - Fifa, Cod, Assassins Creed, Halo and NFS are the top five - "the same procedure as every year" rings through my ear .. (well, except for the Chief of course, his presence is not so "frequent")
people can now finally stop complaining and arguing about those games because - obviously - everyone buys them anyway regardless
Re: Round Up: Call of Duty: Black Ops III PS4 Reviews Score a Low Level Killstreak
the game is nothing short but amazing, and a major improvement over AW
I have it since saturday and played it all day long in coop
The campaign starts good so far, the zombies mode is an absolute blast (best zombie mode in cod) and the online multiplayer is as we all know excellent as well (especially the new classes/characters).
There were some annoying connection/server/host problems though, really hope they fix this asap
Id easily give this a 9/10, easily, extremely good overall package
Re: Weirdness: PS4 Perv Slaps the Salami Over System in Store
well I dont think his "arousement" has anything to do with the ps4, but if so, that man surely is excited for the Sony console LOL
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 92
Black Ops 3, MGS5 and Tales of Zestiria - I need a vacation lol ^^
Re: Review: Need for Speed (PS4)
ok, I am planning to get this after all, some of my friends got it and they are all amazed!
@JaxonH LOL saved my day ^^ i would bet that it is just like that, 100%
Re: PS4 Is Reeling in First-Person Shooter Fans, Says Sony
I think both PS4 and One have awesome controllers and awesome FPS games - for example I would not want to miss out on Halo and Titanfall, and I also love Killzone, games like CoD and Battlefront are imo not better on any of those two they look and play exactly the same on both consoles.
Re: First Impressions: Need for Speed Fails to Hit First Gear on PS4
Re: Rumour: Two of Your November PlayStation Plus Games Have Been Leaked
*sarcasm on
I dont care for free games or online play - I just subscribe to plus because I think Sony deserves the extra money from me, its my duty as a playstation gamer!
*sarcasm off
Re: Sony Stresses There Are Still First-Party PS Vita Games in Production
@rjejr the PSTV actually is pretty awesome to play vita games on a TV, for those who dont own a vita to be precise, and also in combination with ps4 and vita in one household the pstv is pretty damn amazing to play most vita games on the big screen from time to time
Re: Until Dawn's Free Hallowe'en PS4 Theme Is Worth Downloading
the game is nothing short but amazing - from start to finish
hardly any game had me that much impressed on the ps4 so far - technically and gameplay-wise, I just wished it was longer
@topic: the theme looks good, but my favourite is the journey theme ^^ it looks very good and the tune is so chilled ^^ although this is - of course - better suited for halloween ^^
Re: Outlast 2 Will Be Your Hallowe'en Game Next Year
must buy for me - day one
Outlast is one of my favorite Horror Games of all time ^^
Re: Paris Games Week 2015: DriveClub Bikes Pulls a Wheelie on PS4 from Today
haha and I though I was the only one bad at DriveClub LOL
the games pretty damn tough, Im not a pro gamer or so but I do play racing games like PGR, DIRT and NFS once in a while but DriveClub is really really hard the AI is extremely good
but I just love the graphics and the overall style of the game thats what keeps me addicted to it
Im up for a chilled noob driving if someones interested LOL haha
Re: Did Bandai Namco Just Trademark a Tales Of HD Collection?
instant buy for me as a huge Tales fan ^^
I hope for a PS4/Vita Cross buy/cross save feature too
Oh and I really wish for Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Legendia, those are the ones that I did never get the chance to play (they were not released in Europe back then) ^^
Re: Paris Games Week 2015: Whoa, Who Could Have Guessed Tekken 7 Would Be Announced for PS4?
Re: Paris Games Week 2015: DriveClub Bikes Pulls a Wheelie on PS4 from Today
First things first:
I got the game along with the season pass nearly a week ago as it is really extremely cheap right now - and as I commented on the review here, I really think the game deserves a way better rating right now, after all that has been patched and updated!
Re: Level Up with Over an Hour of Sword Art Online: Lost Song PS4 English Gameplay
The only downside is the camera, which tends to get hectic in narrow spaces, and the somewhat "empty/likewise" sceneries/dungeons
Im having a blast with Zestiria and I can say without any doubt that it is my favorite Tales game so far
Re: Review: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PS4)
got the game last saturday - my impressions after somewhat 10 hrs or so (7% complete) - could easily turn to be the most polished and complete game that I have ever played
Re: Level Up with Over an Hour of Sword Art Online: Lost Song PS4 English Gameplay
still havent finished Hollow Fragment - somewhere after idk 12 hrs or so I stopped and lost interest, and now I got Tales of Zestiria (one of my most wanted this year ^^) - for me as someone who doesnt know the anime/manga before playin it was pretty hard to get into it tbh, the game doesnt explain itself and its characters too well imo, but its intriguing enough I admit
would be way better if it was cross play and cross save though
well, before downloading the new one I should at least finish HF
Re: Surprise! Sony Isn't Working on First Party Titles for PS Vita
that angers me and I really feel sorry for it - I bought a Vita a few months ago and it is by far the console I play most on - and I own PS4, One and WiiU
So many great games and the Vita itself is exceptionally great in design, screen and comfort.
I will be buying games on sale no matter what, till I have everything I am interested in, and I also use it for off screen play with the PS4, also have PSTV and really love the connection between those three
Shame on you Sony! Im disappointed
Re: Review: DriveClub (PlayStation 4)
after all that has been patched, fixed and added the game would deserve another closer look and an updated review with a much higher rating - with all of the content available, the improved graphics and netcode, and a season pass that offers more than most full priced games these days, this game now easily deserves a 9/10
its extremely cheap now on the ps store so every racing fan that has been hesitating - go get it, for me its a kind of spiritual predecessor of PROJECT GOTHAM RACING - it plays like it and is as rewarding
Re: Review: Tales of Zestiria (PS4)
@E4effort just play a bit - depends on the difficulty but after some hours the gameplay - as you said and already know from predecessors - opens up extremely and becomes complex, stylish/flashy and very satisfying, you need to take enemies on hitting their weak spots, crushing through their defense and constantly be on guard - best battle system in the series so far imo
Graphics are good on PS4, especially the characters and art desing, although the environments look empty and boring, camera has issues in narrow spaces too - but those are minor flaws compared to the overall excellence of the game
Re: Review: SkyScrappers (PS4)
yeah the art style looks cool! but I would only pick this up once it is on plus or sale at least, if I want such a brawler Id rather stick to Smash Bros
