The gaming miracles continue with Valkyria Chronicles Remaster – an upgraded edition of the classic SEGA strategy game with Trophies and 1080p visuals. Set to release on 10th February in Japan, the publisher has deployed the title's official website, which has revealed its boxart alongside a batch of screenshots.
And unsurprisingly, the 2008 outing's pencil shaded art style is still sharp seven years later. While no Western release has been confirmed, we're really eager to revisit this, so we hope that the Sonic the Hedgehog maker keeps its word about wanting to win back fans. I missed out on this on PS3 so Im glad it comes to PS4 now ^^
The original is my favourite game of last generation, I'd buy this in a second...please SEGA!

Valkyria Chronicles is like a hybrid between Fire Emblem and Fallout. Both game styles that have large fan base in western markets, but SEGA fails to bring Valkyria Chronicles to west on platforms that people in western regions prefer to play such games.
The originals PS4 port needs to come here. They already had the localization done for the PS3 release. Next up they need to port the portable sequels to come modern machine as well (either PS4 or PS-Vita).
Lastly the new 4th game they working on must also make it here on whatever platforms they release for in Japan market.
Was hoping that this would be released for vita seeing as the sequel is on the psp library but I'd just like to play it someway do happy I'll get the chance on ps4 didn't own a ps3 in case anyone suggests that btw
I'd probably buy this if it comes to the states. It has a very anime look to it, and I'm interested in trying out new Strategy RPGs. Literally the only strategy RPG series I play is Fire Emblem.
The only strategy rpg good as Fire Emblem (FE still a little better but). And I'll buy for a third time, but I really want the 2 sequels on the remaster too!

@Neolit it's just 780p like most PS3 titles. Excellent-looking game, but magine it without any aliasing.. and with trophies!
