I am very pleased to see GotG doing so well. The same Star Wars scenario is unfolding here... studio aquires big license, creates a online based cash cow (Battlefront == Avengers) that is a huge turd, then puts out a single player campaign that is a huge success (Fallen Order == GotG).

I haven't because I can't cope with open world games with an abundance of stuff to do on my map. I'm too much of a completionist... I loathe Ubisoft games for the same reason.

Is it still worth it for the single player experience? Or am I going to miss too much of the experience not doing side stuff?

No LMG's mentioned, which makes me sad because the Stoner is the best gun in the game for me. Even easier to handle than the FARA/KRIG and much lower time to kill. It's an absolute beast.

Heads up: I heard some people only got it to work after disabling HDR. So try that if you're having problems.

The engine is starting to show it's age. Not blown away yet. Wake me up when the first true next-gen Souls game arrives.

For me it's quite simple. I think they did speak true when they said they believe in generations, but since then Corona intensified as well as the chip shortage. To me this is a logical consequence. The vast majority of their player base doesn't have the choice to buy a PS5, so they can't leave them behind. Both in loyalty and profits.

I'm sure Sony would have loved to keep their blockbuster titles as PS5 system sellers... but they don't have the systems to sell.

To be honest, 5 hours in I probably only just defeated the first boss!

I loved the ME3 mp, together with Dragon Age: Inquisition's. Too bad all the overpowered stuff was either a brutal grind, which could of course be sped up by buying lootboxes. It's EA we're talking about after all.

@Shepherd_Tallon I have absolutely no proof, but I think niche games perform much better in digital sales.

Was anyone else so bored by Miles Moralis? Yeah it's cool to swing around for a bit, but there's a distinct lack of challenge. Especially with the overload of gadgets that basically win the fight for you.

Say what you want but Sony is also not afraid to stick their neck out with new, non-mainstream IP's like Death Stranding and Returnal.

Finished Returnal yesterday but craving more. So Returnal.

I mean, as a PS5 owner I wish it'd be a PS5 exclusive. It would make a great system seller, too. Having that said, and I know it's not really a comparison, but Sackboy really looks next gen on the PS5... and add the fact that GoW still looks amazing, I think they'll do alright job.

They certainly IMPLIED they had a special arrangement set up for people wanting a refund. I'm still trying to get it through Sony directly and it's incredibly frustrating to convince people that are working with an obvious script. I'm going to keep at it though. At this point I have nothing to lose.

Thank you for this. It drove me crazy that the stand doesn't click into place, while thinking that it should. When I pull my PS5 forward (to check the cables behind it for example), I shove it out of the stand. Guess it's supposed to be this way.

Can we add allm support? It was advertised as a 2.1 feature next to VRR, but not present.

This is the first time I'm participating in the launch hype of any console. Always been a big PC gamer, but when I played God of War, TLOU 1 + 2 and HZD on an accidental PS4 that I got, Sony won me over... hook, line and sinker.

I got my accessoires and Demon's Souls + MM today, so it still feels like a special day. Console comes next week. Very excited to be part of this!
