Re: Metal Gear Solid V Looks Gorgeous and Gutsy in This PS4 Gameplay Footage

Xalbador40

This gets better and better with each video. Look at that sweet swet freedom of gameplay. Use stealth of go guns blazing. You got enough toys for each play style. And best of all you can do mix styles. Day 1 for me

Also guys if you have MGS Ground Zeroes from the last months free games, you should really check out the app for it. It basically gives the iDroid in the game to your own hands, so you dont have to loseyour line of sight when trying to check the map or call a helicopter. I a sure they will make an app for Phantom Pain as well, it is gonna be epic

Re: That Terrible Teaser Trailer? That Is Guitar Hero Live

Xalbador40

I have always thought that the 3D models of the previous games had their own charms. Not to mention mention this approach will completely destroy customization in my opinion.

They couldn't have streamline the game any more I think. At least it looks that way from the trailer. Playing along with background music clips?! That's even more cheap. I am guessing what they have shown is a sort of a campaign mode and with this style is bond to get repetitive very quickly.

Incredibly streamlined... But I could have found it reasonable if it was only $15 or so but a full price for this? I don't think so...

Re: Soapbox: We Need More New Game Plus

Xalbador40

I agree with all you had said, it gets so tedious to start over a new play-through from scratch. You are spot on with what you said about Diablo 3: "constantly rewarding sense of progression" that's something missing in Inquisition.

For example, it is not possible get every schematics in the game in one play-through in Inquisition. It is just not possible. They are randomly dropped. A new game plus feature could change that, make it so that we could have chance to own every schematics in the game. That I believe would create a "constantly rewarding sense of progression", and that's just one thing

Re: Here's PS4 Firmware Update 2.50's Full List of Features

Xalbador40

@ToOGoodOfAPlaya I am really sorry that you have to leave all of those GS behind. Hopefully you'll get a Xbox One in time as well. Because I believe when it comes to "exclusives" each systems has its own merits. And for me I'll go where the multi-platform games are best played at

Re: Here's PS4 Firmware Update 2.50's Full List of Features

Xalbador40

@topperware Well it is all about personal taste really . Rather than "logos" symbolizing the requirements for that trophy/achievement (which is the case for Xbox 360, PS3, Vita and PS4) there are "screenshots" from the game representing each achievement for Xbox One.

Minecraft for Xbox One is a great example to that.

For me I find it very "artistic". And it adds a different charm to achievement gathering. But like I have tried to mention in my comment, Sony (as I far as I think) is planing to fix the "dullness" of its trophy system by rather than having pre-determined screenshots like in Xbox One there will be different screenshot for each trophy by each different players.

Which is quite cool I think

Re: Talking Point: What Are Your Most Memorable PlayStation Multiplayer Feats?

Battlefield Bad Company 2. Someguy killed me by camping at the top of the stairs in a house. And I knew just the thing to do. Got my granade launcer and went to the neighbouring house. Brought down the walls of the house I was in and then went for his. He was like "the hell is this cold brezee is coming from? (it was a snow map) My back? OHHH ****!!" when I brought his walls dawn. It was amazing.

please watch the language -Tasuki-

Re: Game of the Month: November 2014

Xalbador40

@arnoldlayne83 Yes of course but it was more than that. It droped to like 10-15 framerate per second. I had to keep fighting like that. And it happened only on one occaisson but it was a game breaking one which made think that I should point it out. So yeah all in all everything is fairly done. I am content

Re: Sony Investigating as Christmas Traffic Pulls PSN Offline

Xalbador40

@naruball Very true, also it slowly coming back as well. You cannot dismiss something that was created in years for a day's misfortune. Plus I higly think that Sony should not be in blame. Because a DDoS attack is not an attack to gather information from the servers but to just it down. It is a tool of oppression. We, the players are being denied access from something we enjoy on Cristmas eve is a very insulting deed.
And as the servers are coming back up. I thank Sony for the all the hard work they have done in preventing them from ruining our fun any more.

Re: Rumour: Will Borderlands: Remastered Edition Look for Loads of Loot on PS4?

Xalbador40

@Godsire- Of course they were. But for example in Oblivion. You come to a point where you gather soldiers from each major city and fight of againts demons coming out of the Oblivion gate. There are only like one or two soldiers from each city and you kind a wonder "is this it?" Like there is a thing here if left unchecked could destroy everything but they only send two soldiers?. Epicness of the moment just vanishes. Or the beginnning of the game where you find a city burning, ravaged by demons. Who is there to fight? Just a handle of soldiers. No cizitens no corpses or anyrhing. Dont get me wrong I am not judging the devs. They have done more than even what was possiable at the time. But what I am saying that is it so much to ask from them to "remaster" what was already "legendary", now with the newest tools of today?

Re: Rumour: Will Borderlands: Remastered Edition Look for Loads of Loot on PS4?

Xalbador40

I for one really up for remakes of last gen games. But "remakes" not "remasters". Today we have access to great engines like Frostbite. I would jump up and down from happiness if they remaked Mass Effect and Dragon Age in Frostbite engine. Even thinkng about it gets me sooo exited. I mean games like these had great context but lacked the technical and graphical detail to give it justice. Like Baldur's Gate, old Elder Scroll games like Morrowind and Oblivion. Any game that deserves it, any game that can benefit from more detail.

Re: Game of the Month: November 2014

Xalbador40

Inquisiton for sure. So much content . This trailer was amazing though. PS4 has few minor issues though. 70+ hours in and I have experienced a serious frame drop issue in a boss fight. That really has to change. I know PS4 is running on 1080p but if it cannot sustain at least a 30fps at "all time", I would prefer a lower resolution really. But I think they will patch it in time, hopefully...

Re: PS4 Firmware Update 2.03 Adds Extra Stability to Your System

Xalbador40

Messages issue kind of a port forwarding issue. I don't know what is up with next gen consoles but you have to manually open ports in order to experience at least a more flawless messaging and even voice chatting system. That solved my problem when the system is idle. But it is still kinda slow when I am in a game. Hopefully this update should fix that as well. But like I said not with out port forwarding and dmz...

Re: Review: Dragon Age: Inquisition (PlayStation 4)

Xalbador40

It is here finally! I cant still believe it has been this long since Origins. And I have to say that one thing that struck me with this game was how it really reseambled Origins. And it got even better for it. There are many new cool features as well . This game is going to take a lot of time

Re: Ever Wanted to Know Why You Can't Change Your PSN Name?

Xalbador40

It is inexcusable and nothing else. A policy which bring strong walls in front of the costumer is no good. There are, like everyone said tons of different work arounds to the harassment problem other than this. There lots people as mentioned who wants to change their names with no goal of harassment but personal taste. There is saying in Turkish "Burning the dry wood along with the newly-cut wood" similar meaning to "Throw out the baby with the bath water" Why? Why "hurt" honest people while trying to get rid of bad people?

Re: Talking Point: Is This Gaming's Most Disappointing Ever Year?

Xalbador40

I hate it when they rush a game I think that is the problem. The devs might be getting lazy too I don't know. I agree though getting everything right might be both frustrating and time consuming. Still I am all for "delaying" a game. As long as the end result is a solid and rich project...

And no, I think beginning of the next gen had good start and there is even more to come. This next gen has many possibilities. I believe rise of the games are pretty soon
