@Incognito_D Same here, a backlog of a few hundred games (bought at a discount and free). In fact, the smaller the game, the more likely I am to download and play it.

I have 200+ Vita games and only 3 are on this list. I still use the Vita every week and my son uses it for remote play (at his house).

Sorry state of affairs. This new puritanism due to the metoo movement and pc activists sucks.

I'll certainly try it, as I really liked Battlefield 1, especially at €15 for the complete edition.

Here They Lie and Draw Slasher are the only games I already bought, so excellent month.

My first trophy was in Burnout Paradise. Gaming has never been the same again. I'm not focused on obtaining platinums, I'd rather play another game from my backlog that stands at +200. Lately my Gems of War addiction has hampered my trophy hunting, but I currently have 15.890.

I only buy high end Philips TV's with ambilight.

I liked it so much I bought two 3G Vitas, one with 64 GB and one with 32 GB.
I played over one thousand hours on Destiny of Spirits alone and have over 225 games for it, about 50 of which I still haven't played.

I like optional story modes, providing they don't disable trophies, and they aren't always super easy by the way. I don't have the time or patience (or skills?) any more to play action adventure games on hard difficulty (which I still do occasionally). I'd much rather play 2 games on easy in the time it takes 1 game on hard. I just don't want to lose time by dying any more, like I did in the preceding decades (I started playing on the Amiga 500). If I'm in the mood for the one more go feeling, I'll play another genre.

@ShogunRok It's true that there are more games than before. Some games don't even get a review on any site.

Finally, a bit of attention for smaller games. As Gmork__ said, you used to have more reviews. It's what brough me to your site in the first place.

Digital! Most of the games I buy don't even have a physical copy. Only physical game I bought this year was God of War because it came with a figure.

Bioshock 2 multiplayer is one of my favorite mp game modes added to sp games.

Gems of War also says it's enhanced by boost mode.

Good thing I didn't buy it yet then.

Just a few more than the PS3 version, which included Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

I have no problem with microtransactions, especially for FTP games, but I normally don't buy purely cosmetic ones.

My number 1 of 2017, closely followed by Hellblade.

My GOTY is What Remains of Edith Finch, followed by Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.

I still have the PS2 disc and a working and connected PS2, but I still might pick this up as I also regret the lack of arcade racers on the PS4. It did get a bit hard at the very end.

At least trophies could have netted them a few more sales.

Happy as always with some games I don't have yet. Only had Darksiders II on PS3 and the first 2 Syberia games.

I have half of the games on this list, but here are some other fun VR games: Until Dawn Rush of Blood, Gunjack, Headmaster, Here They Lie, How We Soar, Wayward Sky.

The Vita is still a great gaming platform and I'll take it any day over the vastly overrated Nintendo games.

I doubt the numbers in mainland Europe will be comparable.

The best game I played this year was an indie single player experience, What Remains of Edith Finch.

Much better than Unfinished Swan.
And officially the game that made me cry the most ever.

The user interface is lightning fast and that's the only thing that matters. I really don't care how it looks, and it doesn't look bad.
Previous games had long loading times, these are a thing of the past. As I own all tables, just playing them once will take ages. It's in essence a free game for me. Shame about the absence of 3D though.

Snakeball is pre-trophies.

Another game I'll be able to remove from my backlog list.
At least Guns Up! and Warframe are still going strong.

@get2sammyb You should put PSVR for VR titles, not PS4. Lots of VR titles were announced (see Playstation.Blog E3 Awards), but they are not visible on your list.

You are not the only ones!

Thankfully, I still have a couple in use (and one in reserve). My first fat 60 GB PS3, the one that plays PS2 games, still works like a charm, though it's mainly used for video playback in my vacation home.

@rjejr Zen Pinball 2 has excellent 3D.

You forgot to mention Port Royal 3 on PS3.

Kill Strain was still on my to do list. I had the starter pack in my wishlist, but it seems they have removed it from the store.

I still have my copy. Even bought the ost on iTunes. Best game music ever.

I really liked the stationary cockpit shooter Gunjack on PSVR. I suppose Starblood Arena has more elaborate and diverse gameplay.
