@Angelus3K The UI is considerably worse than what was on their prior console, which is also the unanimous opinion. It could certainly be improved, which they're slowly working on. 1440p/VRR support is coming, its just going to take longer.

I'm going to say it. I had a really good time with this game. It's cheesy, silly, and dumb, but it had some great moments. The core gameplay loop is fun too, even if it is that "Ubisoft feel". If you've got noting else to play this weekend, give it a shot. Otherwise, it goes on sale very frequently. It's really fun co-op too.

Cammy looks okay. Guile looks awful.

Honestly not the most exciting "final pick" for the consumers, but I'm sure the development team on SF6 is filled with joy.

I think there is a chance that we'll see Elden Ring here.

It may be worth pointing out that your first amazon display of SSD's compatible with the PS5 are without the heatsink embedded into them. Perhaps make a separate display of the models with the heatsink equipped models.

I'll definitely pick up the Iki Island Expansion. I was really enjoying GoT, but I had to drop it around act 2 as I was too busy with my course work. I will also be picking up Hades, because none of my friends will shut up about that game.

Swing and a miss. Sony should copy how Nintendo does screenshots on the Switch. On the Switch, whenever you take a screenshot, you have the notification. It won’t be on the screenshot. The same applies for if you spam the screenshot button, creating dozens. The notification will not be on any of those.

Here, you have to actually disable the notification to prevent that.

This is such a silly question, but, does this replace the internal SSD? Or can you have both the internal SSD and this additional one installed? Probably the former, but the article almost made it sound like we could have both.

Yeah, this is all interesting. I really liked Shawn Layden, and I believe that his comments regarding the focus on triple-A titles sharing a theme of narrative based gameplay is bad for those smaller titles. As much as I love my large games, I do love the smaller ones too.
I do, however, disagree about his comment regarding the acquisitions. I believe that Sony needs to expand their worldwide studios to have a large catalog of creativity and uniqueness to compete with Microsoft. I'm not dissing Sony's developers or game catalog, but its worth pointing out that Microsoft got a huge leg up with the Bethesda acquisition.
