FFXIV as usual, getting everything prepped for Endwalker in November!

Still been living in FFXIV having a great time, and even picked up Genshin Impact on the side.

After the Live Letter yesterday I'm super hype for Endwalker!! Long Live Yoshi-P!

@Ralizah Very true, I love the way they reimagined Kratos and watching Atreus on the journey will keep you compelled I'm sure. Also fighting with that axe is super fun, Cory said it took them 5 years to get that axe right!

Normally I keep my expectations low but I'm okay with setting up for devastating disappointment this time.

@Col_McCafferty Yeah I can definitely understand feeling that way after Uncharted saturation. I respect that stance, personally I prefer TLOU1's story over TLOU2.

@Jey887 I was working on my resistance weapon, I just got my Hoshikiri Recollection (Samurai Katana) after 60 fates and some dungeons... Was getting replica for glamour, but wasn't replica I needed. Went to discard replica and discarded my relic...

@Col_McCafferty Is that your first playthough of TLOU? I'm guessing you met Henry and Sam?

Actually taking a small break FFXIV, I accidentally discarded a rare item that took considerable time to obtain. I'm wounded, can't even look at that game right now. I'll be back though.

Currently giving Genshin Impact a spin on PS5 and gotta say it's a stunning and smooth game.

@Th3solution Congrats on finishing Returnal, I remember back when you first started and it was kicking your butt and you were doubting your ability to complete. So I imagine it was so satisfying to see credits roll. Also if you start FF7, Miles, or Uncharted shoot me a tag, I'm always down to discuss those.

@Foxy-Goddess-Scotchy Wow Foxy has Summer break really gone by that fast? Also I've been mildly interested in getting into a CRPG, would recommend Pathfinder for a 1st timer? Also I really really love the Uncharted series glad it's been treating you well, the 4th game is so satisfying after playing the rest of the series.

@Nightcrawler71 Lol the PS5 has spoiled me man, I played a game on my switch that had a 20-30 second loading screen and I felt slightly frustrated. I can't go back after having that near instant loading.

@ShogunRok Unfortunately when I got my PS5 I had some issues where I lost some saves and Ghost was one of them. Do you know at what point in the story I would have to get to for DLC access?

@pocketjazz Yo man you got a fat backlog! I'm having a tough time making a suggestion!

GOW: You're already playing a 3rd person action adventure type with Zelda but the gameplay and story is superior to the Zelda game.

Returnal: This is a nice pickup and play game but you have to be ready to at least commit an hour or more to runs. Also this there are no saves so either you're committed to the game or you're not.

Hades: Very similar, nice pickup and play game but this one can be saved during runs so it's friendly of real life situations or switching to other games.

Uncharted Collection: Not sure of your tolerance for dated mechanics and controls but these games are only getting older with the first game feeling the most clunky. Pretty good trilogy and the games range from 15-18 hours each.

Hollow Knight: If you're a fan of souls games, and just being lost in a game world and discovering things in that metroidvania format then go for this.

Personally I'm not crazy about the resident evil franchise so I'll let others vouch for these.

Neck deep in to FFXIV Shadowbringers... or should I say Feelsbringers :,(

@Judal27 Yeah I've seen that Lyse hate too but personally I really liked how they developed her from ARR. But I gotta say if you're enjoying it now you're going to really like post-stormblood. In addition I can say Shadowbringers is as hype as people say. The first hour of ShB feels more impactful than the entirety of 4.0.

@Kopite DMCV is so good! I'm guessing you finished Royal?

@Warspite2901 Yeah for sure, unfortunately we can't play since we're on different data centers.

@Judal27 Yeah I seen a lot of that online before starting Stormblood myself, personally I loved journeying through new lands and I mean c'mon, we all love Kugane right(that music tho)? As a ninja main and Au'Ra I felt very connected to everything going on. I also really enjoyed Lyse, Hien, Yugiri, and Gosetsu.

@Warspite2901 Trust me, the very last quest of ARR into Heavensward will have you hooked. Mark my words.

Yeah ARR can be a slog sometimes but personally I enjoyed it, that portion of the game is all about world building and it all pays off. Honestly I don't think the expansions would be as good as they are if ARR didn't set foundations. Hope you stick with it!

Surprise surprise! More FFXIV and Apex Legends for me

Been grinding the heck outta FFXIV, some of the best boss encounters and stories I've encountered in gaming. Truly special game.

Also working on getting master rank in Apex before season reset on Tuesday. Happy gaming all!

Finally started Shadowbringers in FFXIV, and an hour in it's as good as everyone says it is.

Jumping between XIV, Apex Legends, and now some Skyward Sword too . Happy gaming!
