You guys have those games you missed out on growing up? The Yakuza series is one of those for me.

I'm thinking of getting into Judgement and the Yakuza series, but not sure where to start on the Yakuza front. I don't have time to play the whole series, but I wanna dive in. What's 3 must play Yakuza games?

On the note of a PS5 indie, look into The Pathless. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

@phil_j Personally I didn't like FFXV, despite forcefully trying to like it. 8 hours later I put it down, but it may be different for you.

As far as newer FF games just go with 7R, and if XVI really interests you then maybe give FFXIV a try. Its made by the XVI team, and is set in a very similar world.

I'm so glad they wanna release more information when it's ready and not rush. I'm a patient man!

@The_Pixel_King That's dope man, I was really surprised how dynamic the gameplay was by just adding a dodge button. Melee combat feels so smooth, and looks great too. Any favorite moments so far (without spoilers)?

I've been a boring contributor to these posts the past couple weeks.

I just cannot get enough of FFXIV, such an amazing game. Apex Legends, Returnal, or DOOM in between for when I need something more fast paced.

@MightyDemon82 I really wanna get into Guilty Gear but when I played the beta I didn't know any controls as it was my first experience with the series. Looks like a really good fighter though.

@RaZieLDaNtE The ending of Miles Morales is gonna surprise you, I didn't expect such a smaller experience to feel so impactful.

Just finished up my journey with Yuffie in Intergrade and had a blast! Gonna be doing a hard playthrough soon!

@themightyant The Pathless was such a great and serene experience. Each of the chase sequences felt epic and the final boss really surprised me.

@gollumb82 Nooooo it hurts to read that but I respect and understand your decision. Maybe do what @Col_McCafferty said and take a break and lower difficulty.

It sucks because the story gets so good after that point.

@Nilexson Exactly that my friend, Stormblood is very much so a smell the roses experience. I found it much more enjoyable when I approached it that way. I have to say though Yda was already one of my favorite Scions and seeing how she grows in this expansion is heartwarming.

@Jackpaza0508 This is the only way to play any Infamous game. We are sane.

@Col_McCafferty May I suggest The Pathless? I really enjoyed my time with the game, Annapurna killing it again.

Predominantly I will be playing FFXIV with some FF7R, Rift Apart, or Apex Legends when I get bored.

FFXIV is growing on me as one of my favorite gaming experiences.

@Nilexson Stormblood became much better for me when I viewed it as another Realm Reborn as far as world and character building. Stormblood doesn't tackle the main narrative of FFXIV it seems, I just rolled credits lastnight and seen an Ascian for the first time in the expansion.

Stormblood takes its time to build up but man is the payoff worth it. It also pays off things that have been established since ARR, such as liberating Doma and Ala Mhigo. Around lvl 67 quests you'll start to see everything payoff.

Gonna keep saying Fuser here till it happens 😀

Elden Ring & Eiyuden Chronicle I'm keeping an eye on also.

@Blacksmith1985 You should definitely play Far Cry 3 in preparation for Far Cry 6. You won't be disappointed.

Wasn't really for me but it definitely wasn't a bad show, most interested in Rider's Republic.

It seems like the general opinion of the expansions is that Stormblood is the least liked compared to HW and ShB, with some people flatout saying they don't like Stormblood. Personally I'm really enjoying the journey, maybe it's because I'm a NIN/SAM main idk. I also like the traversal switch up when it comes to swimming.

@gollumb82 Do you know how to exploit technical damage? Example: Hitting an enemy with Psy damage while Confusion is on the enemy.

P.S I love the DK pic, takes me back to DK64

@gollumb82 I wholeheartedly understand feeling that way but that boss is not worth being honorable. That entire palace was my least favorite part of the game, please don't let him kill your love for the game. Everything that happens afterwards is very much worth pushing through.

Finally got a weekend off so I have tons of time for FFXIV, FF7 Intergrade, and R&C.

I've gotta say Tifa has some serious competition, Yuffie is incredibly fun to play!
